Carbon offset for the most part is unregulated.  Its incumbent on responsible companies and individuals to offset their carbon footprint.  We will only support approved projects where we can ensure that the project is doing exactly what they claim!

If you are going to stake it. you need to transfer it off the exchange and into the windows, linux or OSX wallets...

Holy shit, they released a masternode guide and it shot up 2,000% at it's peak yesterday.


That Steemit post is how I learned about it for sure so I am sure it had something to do my coin purchase. I’m looking to run 10 masternodes. Is there a limit?

The 2000% increase was because we didn't do a presale and starting selling at 1 sat.. There is only a 1m market supply..

You can run as many nodes as you want - the more you have the more you earn.  It should get harder and more expensive as time goes on.. we've kept the collateral high to ensure that we will have a lower rate of participation and early adopters will be rewarded.

We had to create a stake for BitF to be paid POS rewards and run masternodes to keep the network alive and ensure Carbon neutrality through the purchase of offset credits.

Building a carbon exchange and trying to get some traction takes time and money - we think this represents fair value for what we are trying to accomplish.

Carbon credits would come from funding projects such as reforestation or green energy.  Landowners could sell offset credits on the exchange to fund reforestation on land they own.  Families could install solar rooftop systems to offset their electricity and sell the "carbon savings" to those who wish to be responsible for their footprint.  

Building an exchange is part of a larger project to build a forward facing team that can handle this task.  We would require significant documentation in order to approve a project - which may initially slow onboarding - but its essential to make that Carbon actually gets offset.

A Roadmap is under development for this specific project that will get into the more intricate details of the Carbon exchange project.  Jan/2019 is the expected release.

BitF - The Zero Emission, Carbon Offset Digital Asset.


The BitF Project
Carbon Offset Bitcoin
BitF is a digital asset designed to have zero carbon footprint.  In addition to being built on an energy efficient base - BitF pays Carbon Offset for the energy required to run our blockchain.


The BitF asset will power the "BitF Carbon Exchange".  This exchange will facilitate the trade of Carbon from producer to end user using any digital currency.   BitF and it's blockchain will be used for both currency and as a Carbon Offset Aggregator.

BitF will use its POS rewards and rewards from Masternode operation to pay Carbon Offset on behalf of the BitF blockchain.

Our block rewards currently award 75% to the Masternode and 25% to stakeholders.

MasterNode Operators
Maternode operators play a vital role in ensuring the BitF network is available to accept and process a transaction in a timely manner.   All Masternode operators are compensated for their time and server costs by receiving a percentage of the block reward.
