Haven't checked back here in several weeks, but I'm glad things seem to actually be moving along, and that the devs haven't been totally silent. Transparency often matters more than raw progress, and any dev would do well to remember that IMO. Just my two cents though.

Where is the best place to be holding your SafeX for the time being, while waiting for SafeX Cash/Chilli blockchain?

The current official wallet? So what, I guess right now it's using Omni over Bitcoin for a token, right? I presume in the future, we would just import our private keys into the new chain and be able to receive our SafeX Cash/Chilli coins that way?

Anyone know if there are any other projects that are attacking markets similar to SAFEX? I'm just trying to see what else is out there, and how it compares. I think Hubii might be similar, but apparently it's more for contracting jobs, rather than being a generalized marketplace. Could be wrong though. Anyone?

If this is going to be a PIVX based proof-of-stake coin what will the annual staking interest be?

I could be wrong, but I think Pivx does about 5%+ yearly. I know for sure it's not more than 10%, but they could always modify this when they implement it. At least 10% would be preferably IMO, but that's just me.

Hey guys, I just had a couple questions. Maybe you guys can answer them?

Has the "Chilli" coin snapshot taken place? So Safex essentially acts as a "share" of the future marketplace, right? And the "Chilli" coins will act as the currency on the marketplace? Or at least as one of them? And as I understand, there will be a snapshot where current Safex holders will have like 10-20% of the total "Chilli" supply distributed among them..?

Also... I did take a look at the dividend calculator on the site, but can anyone explain the relationship between the total market cap, the value of each coin, and the percentage of dividend, all that stuff? By changing a value or two, it seems like it mucks up all the other values? I'm having trouble understanding how that is supposed to work...

Anyway, really looking forward to this project in the future as I've already said. Maybe we can make Safex a well-known entry point for newbies. We'll gain a lot of value, and really make more people look at this project...

Probably Chilli will be Safex Cash, but is not active yet.
Yes, Safex will be shares of the future marketplace, and Safex Cash will be currency.
Owners of the Safex tokens will get some % of Safex Cash.

There's the text of their economist, maybe it can help about calculator.

Yeah, I mean you almost HAVE to figure that long-term, this coin will at least reach $1, especially if the marketplace operates even close as well as the team wants it to. But in several years' time, it could be quite a bit more. This project is so under-valued, it's kind of a shame. But at least we can reap the benefits because of it. Smiley

Re: What do you think about PlexCoin?
by

Invest that much you can afford to loose . I can find information about plexcoin in their website only. And don't know this is scam or legal. It is better to trade on poloniex or coinbase i think.
Plexcoin is now considered to be the next evolution of its predecessors, in many forums, they talk about Plexcoin as a currency that could be a market development and soon to be used by many. And participate in the future.

... You have to be delusional. I'm not saying Plex can't succeed. I think it could, depending on how the issues with the SEC go.

But to suggest that an ICO that is under investigation by the SEC is a sure winner, is just a dangerous thing to say.

I'm glad at least, that it would require conversion to USD and be credited based on that. Government hoarding a crypto that is not of their own design would be a problem in my opinion.

don't sell in highly regulated countries, and of course, don't guarantee profits to investors

well, they never guaranteed it and there was a condition to not live in USA...

though, I agree that there was ambiguous things and one can learn from plexcoin's errors

I wonder how it will end, but regulators have a hard time with the case.  SEC with personal jurisdiction and QAMF keep delaying ....

I still hope for a happy ending, ahah

Same!

If there were ever an argument that Crypto is a huge gamble, Plex would be it. It will either go to absolutely 0 after this whole fiasco... Or, it could 10x after they're cleared.

Still, better than a slot machine I suppose. Smiley

This is probably a dumb question, but is ICON going to have any kind of "staking"? I know they mentioned the concept of "Loop Fault Tolerance" or something like that, but I'm not sure how that would be related to proof of work or proof of stake, and so on.

For the last month my wallet has been staking and all of the rewards except for 2 are "generated but not accepted". Can anyone help?

Basically, someone who is also staking/masternoding "jumped ahead" and mined the block before you. Everyone on the network does it to everyone else, it's totally normal.

Apparently it is in the works and it shouldn't be long. It's a high priority issue for the team.

"https://deeponion.org/apply.php?ref=1161167" I have entered this page but I can't input the "Bitcointalk user Id:"

So I believe your user id is ONLY those last digits on your profile link. So yours should be "1161167" if I'm not mistaken.

So if we check back over the last few pages of FUD we can see that people were wrong about everything lol. We have a blockchain, new devs (inlcuding Medhi from an Alibaba division), the number of wallets has sky rocketed and all the stats are good on Safexnews.com, we're still waiting on Next but Daniel paid for other exchanges that will be coming online within the month, the Fud around Balkaneum was stupid too (who tf do you think builds safex?), oh and the Liberland Safex partnership made the news all over Serbia.

Glad to see we're still very much alive. And making a "comeback". Just gotta' cut through the FUD and nonsense sometimes.

Kind of surprised you guys were talking about this as late as mid-February, given everything that's happened with this project...

Honestly, the team didn't need to do much to avoid these legal troubles. Mainly, don't sell in highly regulated countries, and of course, don't guarantee profits to investors.

At the very least, Plex is a good example of what NOT to do in an ICO, whether you have a decent product or not...

So what happens if you sold your SYNX recently? Will I still be eligible for the air drop? Let me know.

Yes, as long as you controlled your private key/address at the time of the snapshot, and didn't scrap your wallet without a backup. If that is the case, you would still be able to claim your GRAV when the time comes!

Hey guys, I'm not an official team member, but I was an Admin for Syndicate for some time.

To my knowledge, this project is still very much alive. It has been delayed primarily due to recent announcements from the SEC and other financial regulators. The team wants to really make sure they're doing everything correctly, and legally.

That was the info I got just a couple weeks ago.

Well I'm definitely glad to see that team members are giving updates, but they need to be making sure they're coming to Bitcointalk so the majority of the project's followers can see...
