- SuperBid Is A Gamechanger For Social Media -

In today’s overly connected world, social media’s impact on daily life cannot be understated. Social networks are by far the most popular platforms on the Internet. Out of the 100 most visited websites globally, 20 are social media sites, while another 60 have social media integration.

However, mainstream social media platforms are not without flaws. Increasing online socialization has also made people realize the moral and practical weaknesses that stem from big tech firms controlling global communications.

Fortunately, amid the concerns, Blockchain technology is gradually sipping into the social networks scene. Blockchain-based social platforms like SuperBid promise a future where online interactions happen without control, interference, or exploitation from tech giants.

SuperBid, an influencer-led social auction app, leverages blockchain technology to provide value to influencers and fans without getting in the way of their transactions. Read on for a deep dive into how the SuperBid app can transform mainstream social media.

The Problem With Mainstream Social Media
It is difficult to downplay the positive impact that mainstream social media has had on the world. Businesses and individual brands have risen from nothing to global domination within a few years. Popular networks have even been used to arrange political marches and revolutions.

However, today’s mainstream social media platforms are controlled by a handful of corporations, which store all user information on centralized servers. To drive profitability, these companies analyze user data to uncover their preferences, deliver personalized ads, and get paid by the companies they advertise.

The primary concern with this model is it places users as the product and not the customer. To interact online, platform participants give away troves of data, which is then used for targeted advertising. Therefore, advertisers become the customer while all users and their data become the product. The typical social media participant, be they an influencer or fan, has little to no control over how their data is used, who uses it, and what they get in return.

How is SuperBid Redefining Social Media?
Blockchain-based social apps have been gradually rising as a better alternative to conventional platforms. Their decentralized nature frees them from the control of corporations or governments, who might not have the same interests as users. Moreover, because they do not store data on centralized servers, they represent a much safer model for interacting online.

Building social media apps with blockchain solve three basic issues of social networking: autonomy, trust, and economic value.

Autonomy — Freedom of Expression

The elimination of centralized corporations enables blockchain-based social apps to provide greater freedom. Users can interact and transact freely, thanks to peer-to-peer communication.

Trust — Content Creation

Centralized social media platforms give full custody of user data to a few companies. Theoretically, these parties can change and use the data in whichever way they want. Because blockchain data is immutable, nobody can ever change the result of content payouts once complete.

Economic Value — Earnings for Content Producers

Blockchain-based social media puts users in the driver’s seat, enabling them to control how their content is distributed and how they earn money from it.

In addition to these general benefits, SuperBid pushes online socialization from liking and commenting to exchanging tangible value. Participating in influencer-led auctions enables users to support their favorite influencers while taking advantage of the freedom and transparency that blockchain offers.

On the SuperBid platform, an influencer can publish NFT's which can be tied to anything, consumer-grade products, personal items, signed mementos, blog content, courses, or even real-life experiences. App users can bid for anything on auction paying with a credit card or converting their $SUPERBID token in the in-app currency DIAMONDS. Imagine bidding for a chance to sing karaoke with Justin Bieber, have lunch with Enrique Iglesias, or shoot some hoops with Steph Curry! The possibilities are breathtaking.

SuperBid’s impressive and rapidly growing roster of influencers, which currently includes global names like Logan Paul and Amanda Cerny, is a testament to Blockchain as the next phase of online social interactions. Sign up for early access to the SuperBid app and position yourself to experience the future of social media, right on your smartphone.

The doxxed and trustworthy team is listening once again to their community.  Grin

Back in February, they had already started by burning 674 million tokens. And they just did it again, they've burned about 14 million tokens within the last 2 weeks.

That means the maximum supply will be 88,344,286. (for now  Wink)

On team.finance you can look up all the locked tokens. The founders teased several times, that they might burn more after the next unlocks.

Please DYOR on this project, you won't regret it.

Socialized NFT Marketplace // Why do I think is Superbid great?
by
BitMeister123

Hello Altcoiners, please give it a read and let me know what you think.

First off, what is SuperBid? SuperBid is a social auction app connecting fans with thousands of influencer-led auctions for items, experiences, and NFTs. SuperBid combines the potential of live shopping with online auctions and influencer marketing.

1. Doxxed, extraordinary team
SuperBid has a doxxed team with a history of setting up successful businesses.

Co-founder & CTO, Wojciech Sobczuk, created grono.net, a social media network in Poland that garnered multi-million users before it was acquired by Intel Capital. This was years before Facebook was a thing. He’s now the CTO of Escape Velocity who has over 150+ developers building tech for global companies such as Trubify.com, Music.com, and unicorns like Fair. He’s currently leading a team of 7 developers working full-time on the SuperBid app where the Alpha version is expected to come out this May, and Beta to be released on June or July.

Co-founder & CEO, Patrick Gajda, is an entrepreneur and serial startups investor in space, fintech, IT, e-commerce. He is the president of Escape Velocity, Incidium.Space, ShootCapsule, and SC Space&Data Inc. He’s also a member of EBAN (European Business Angels Network).

Head of Talent, Branden Hampton, was one of the very first social media influencers, later recognized by Forbes as “the king of social media, having built over 36M followers across Instagram, Twitter and Facebook”. He has worked with over 500 different celebrities with millions of followers, athletes, artists, and social media influencers.

See the rest of the team at SuperBid.io (note: more team members will be added in the website)

2. Real token utility, no hype needed
Memecoins have no real use case. Their increase in value relies on ‘hype' and how well their community can spread the word (shill). Once this hype dies, the value of their token tanks.

SuperBid is different, the value does not rely on the hype since the token will be crucial to the financial ecosystem of the app. See app teaser: Click here

The $SUPERBID token will be used to power the financial ecosystem of the fully blockchain-integrated version of our app. It is a utility token, used to bid on auctions and raffles.

3. Our Community
Last but not least, our community. The heart of every project in the crypto scene.

SuperBid has made it our mission to involve our community as much as possible in every step of development from the very beginning. This goes back to the " Stealth Launch" back on February 19, 2021, when the community voted to minimize the amount of Supply in circulation.

The history of our COO, Max Gross, can also be traced back to the community. He was a dedicated community member at the time and eventually joined the team, bringing years of experience with him. Since then, other extremely dedicated community members have become part of the team and are working full steam ahead every day to make the "Superbid - Socialized NFT Marketplace" a success. Our team is constantly growing...

Since then, our community has grown massively. From just under 20 at the beginning to over 4,500 members of the Telegram group today, who closely follow every step of the team and are always on hand to provide valuable input.

Of course, our community is not lacking in "meme power"! Whether it's re-motivating doubting community members with a light-hearted meme, competing in a "meme contest," or telling Elon Musk about our "moon mission”... Our community has consistently knocked our socks off with top-notch content, and the motivation seems to grow even more every day.

Cheers to our community!

Our Ambassadors
It doesn't rely on Influencer promoting us in exchange for money. The influencer, athlete, musician, actor, or whoever promotes his OWN auction (NOT the token itself). Which will lead his/her strong fanbase to Superbid.
And there are already some world-class names like:
-Logan Paul (100 million followers)
-Amanda Cerny (45 million followers)
-Natalia Janoszek (1 million followers)
-Dana Vicci (1 million followers)
-Leylah Fernandez (nearly 400k followers)

And there will be much much more!!
