is this dead project?

BitQuark is alive and well. We are about to go through our first block halving. We are also looking into adding masternodes!

Help BitQuark raise 1 BTC to cover fees to be added to CryptoBridge. You can donate BTC's to the following Bitcoin address 1HmBxhXQV4buJnmHF2o5N9Gioq9UazGGsp

You should take a look at Quarkbar, same quark algo only much rarer and uses kimotos gravity well for retargeting and the community is really starting to take off. Also ZERO premine like bitquark so it's also fair but with more advanced features Smiley

So QuarkBar has been re-launched again for the 3rd time?

This coin is definitely not a fake and I also don't recall the litecoin dev complaining that just about everybody is using litecoin to create their own coin.
this coin has its own blockchain and we will be listing it on exchanges soon.

You took my code and only changed the name and logo image. You're even using the same ports as BitQuark. What made me notice LiteQuark is that the client was connecting to my BTQ pool and clients.

Here's BitQuark announcement and source code, but I'm sure you already know all this info.

This is a relaunch of the Ann, not the coin. BitQuark launched February 22, 2014.

what do you mean relaunch Huh a totally new blockchain, or just a new ANN thread  ?

New thread only. Still same blockchain and same client

BitQuark : The Faster Bitcoin

BitQuark v0.8.3r21

Windows 32bit - http://downloads.bitquark.info/BitQuark-0.8.3r21-Win32.zip

Windows 64bit - http://downloads.bitquark.info/BitQuark-0.8.3r21-Win64.zip

What is BitQuark (BTQ)?

To put it simple, BitQuark is the result of merging Bitcoin with the super secure hashing power of Quarkcoin. BitQuark uses Bitcoin's distribution method with the addition of 0.05% annual inflationary after the initial 21,000,000 BitQuark's have been mined.  It uses the super secure 'quark' algorithm made up of 9 rounds of hashing from 6 hashing functions (blake, bmw, grøstl, JH, keccak, skein).  3 rounds apply a random hashing function.  BTQ has a block time of 30 seconds and block rewards of 2.5 BTQ per block.  The block rewards will never fall below 0.1 BTQ.  Retargeting every block using DarkGravityWave3 and halving every 4 years.. Absolutely NO PREMINING of this coin!!!

  • Algorithm: Quark
  • Block Time: 30 seconds
  • Block Rewards: 2.5 BTQ
  • Block Minimum Rewards: 0.1 BTQ
  • Block Halving: Every 4 years
  • Retarget Time: every block via DGW3
  • Total BTQ: 21,000,000 + 105,120 BTQ Annual Inflation After Initial 21,000,000 mined
  • Less power usage, meaning more profit

Your LiteQuark is set to the same ports as my BitQuark. Looks like you just took my coin and renamed it without changing anything other than the name. You need to change your RPCPort and connection port as it will interfere with BitQuark!
What you mean is it a scam one, fake one, right?

Yeah Litequark is fake. They cloned it straight from my source code and only changed the name and logo.

Dead coin?

Yes LiteQuark is dead and it was a scam. They ripped it off and made an exact clone of BitQuark. If you want to mine a good quark coin you should mine BitQuark. We have a large community and we are on an exchange https://c-cex.com/?p=btq-btc  BitQuark launched 4 years ago. You can mine it with 0% fees at http://www.WeMineBTQ.com

Hey guys check out this BS! It's a total rip off of BitQuark https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2659390.0

They are even using the same rpcport as BTQ. They totally cloned BTQ and only changed the name to LiteQuark (LTQ)....REALLY?!?!?!

wallet windows error,not open.
"you need to rebuild the databases using -reindex to change-txindex"

Since you have "txindex=1" in your bitquark.conf file, it wants to rebuild your blockchain so that it will be indexed. Nothing to worry about. You can either remove "txindex=1" or just allow it to index your blockchain.

It typically takes 30 seconds per confirmation and you need 7 confirmations total. Do you have a transaction ID and does it show up in the block explorer?
