Re: [ANN] FoodCoin (FdC) - currency for business and social activity

For some reason I've got it into my head that FoodCoin is going to build its own blockchain instead of using Ethereum. I can't see a mention of this on their website but wandered if I missed the info. Is FoodCoin going to stay on Ethereum?
Thanks in advance.
FOODCOIN does not stay on Ethereum, the dev team is building the blockchain with unique structure designed especially for needs of the food industry.
How will the ERC20 tokens be exchanged / swapped for this new tokens and at what ratio? 1:1?
And any idea when this will be possible? Estimated Date?

When will be the next payout from the ICO site. I requested it about 2 weeks ago now, but the status is still pending:
"Please wait for your pending payout to be finished until you can do your next payout."
Any idea?

Anyone want to guess how long this is going to take to fully sync? It's been going for a couple hours now. Hope this mist update is better than geth.

I'm trying the same right now, and at the moment it is so damn slow....
I see increasing the last digits of the block counter in seconds interval...
Any tips for how to get synced faster?

Regarding payout requests on the ICO site, just to be sure I understand correctly:
If I want to transfer my KMD balance to a exchange, I need to enter the KMD wallet address I got from the exchange in the field "Enter KMD Address" and confirm to change the KMD address. Then I go to the "PAYOUT" page and request the payout.
Maybe this sounds obvious (I know) but it's better to ask... Smiley

Is there an Exchange to purchase some tokens?

No exchange yet but you can use the Nxt decentralized asset exchange to buy this asset 10966270007977442520 that represent IOTA.

Is this trustfull and secure?

can u please tell me your OC and are u under voltage or not ??

no OC and no under voltage - just all cards running with stock settings.
the rig is now running fine, almost 3 hours and stable with this hashrate (~1330 h/s)

that's weird have same setup up got only 890 h  Roll Eyes

How much Ram do you have ??

16GB RAM, a fast 128GB SSD (Samsung ~500 GB/s for R/W)
virtual memory set to 32768 kb - 65536 kb
and a i7-4770K @4GH OC on a MSI Z87GD65 (Gaming & OC board)
Windows 8.1 pro 64 bit

on the same system I'm runnig wolfs cpu miner with 4 threads giving me additional ~190 h/s

No way for more than 4 GPUs with Windows 7

Hi miners,
currently I'm running up to 4 GPUs in my rigs using Win7. I know that Windows 8.1 can support up to 6 GPUs (maybe even more), and that Win 7 is limited to recognize up to 4 GPUs only.
But is there really no hack or trick how to overcome this limit under Win 7 ?

Cheers and many thanks in advance,

Re: Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information

Hi, sorry for a newbie question!

I have just startet to explore Nxt a little, downloaded and installed version 0.4.8,
bought some Nxt to have something to play with (I have 558 NXT),
and now I have the wallet open and running since about 3 days (localhost:7875).

Currently it shows active peers=131, recent blocks=2588 and my question now is:
Why the number of days telling me when I can generate the next block is jumping up or down all couple of minutes?
It startet first telling me in 5 days, later in 144, then about 500, later about 300, back to 90 ...
currently it shows in 114 days 12 hours ...

From what it depends on?

Cheers,

Re: When to use powered risers? And if really needed, how to make them?
by

I make them myself so it's really no big deal or extra cost.

Okay, sounds reasonable. Can you point me to a source where I can find circuit diagrams?
Are the leads from the Molex connected in parallel with the ones comming from the board, or is it connected exclusively to the Molex?
And do you connect both, ground AND +12V or only the +12V (like I could see already) ?
On some solutions I could also see a capacitor - do you use one too?

Thanks for help in advance!

Hi, is there a rule when it's really necessary to use powered risers, I mean instead of normal not powered ones?
I would like to use up to 5 (maybe even 6) 7970 / R9 280 cards on a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 and on a MSI Z87-GD65
And for sure I will use 2 PSUs. I could read that the supply for each powered riser and the associated GPU has to come from the same PSU?

And does someone knows where I can find instructions to make a powered riser out from a not powered? (just by DIY Smiley
Here in Europe I had no luck to find a supplier for powered risers, only for normal ones (not powered) 1x and 16x.
But I guess it should not be too difficult to make a powered one out from a normal one...?

BitWalker

Re: KNCMiner Neptune 20nm Interesse an Gruppenkauf?

3 THs.
=> Kosten / GHs = ca. 3 $/GHs

Cheers,
BitWalker
