Since you are a lawyer why don't you define legal possession and how that concept can be applied to bitcoin for starters.

It is certainly subject to debate. My argument would be that possession of the privacy key constitutes the ownership and right to access the value denoted in the blockchain ledger. That is the basic premise of Bitcoin, correct?

This method is negated by any wallet stealer since both the thief and victim would have the private key. Given that info, how do you prove that you were ever the lawful owner of the BTC at that time? Only thing I can think of is maybe a receipt of some kind (exchange logs?) and that doesn't take into account the fact that the BTC could have been traded willingly off network by sending the private key to the buyer (or thief [I can know as a 3rd party{you can't either}]).

You could print a QR code on the ad rate card that leads to a floating BTC/USD price on your website in addition to printing the USD price on the card.

Most businesses that take bitcoin do so through an intermediary that handles the billing and USD to BTC conversion rate. Since most of these businesses are online only intermediaries usually provide a widget that shows prices in BTC using current market rates. Bitpay it a popular one but I'm not sure if they let you keep the BTC, I think they cash you out in USD daily.

I am not interested in olive oil, what I am seeking is the oil of the bay laurel fruit (from the same plant that you get bay leaves for cooking). For now it would be a one time purchase of a couple of liters to a gallon. I have to try making soap with it then I have to see what demand is like for laurel soaps in my area but I believe it will be high.

It is important that it be the fatty oil from the seeds/berries rather than the essential oil made from the leaves. Please PM me a quote, looking for a couple of liters, maybe a gallon, shipped to California. Might need more in the future, though that will dependent on many factors. Would prefer escrow but if you are a well trusted member of the community then we might be able to forgo it.

Hey we can't allow people to kill each other.
That's were I draw the line.
You kill someone you go to jail/go to the chair.
Simple as that.
One could make the argument that objectively the system that SR had in place likely prevented more murders than it caused. But yes he is, if proven in a fair trial (however likely that may be) beyond a shadow of a doubt, a murder and does not deserve freedom.

Anyone having any problems withdrawing? I have a withdraw that has been pending for well over 7 hours.

Edit: Received word from support staff, they said there was a large withdraw and they are currently refilling their out-processing wallet. They said it shouldn't take more than 4 more hours. Will report back with update.

Exactly. Transaction has been sent Smiley

Confirmed, funds are in my wallet.

I can vouch for localbitcoins. Used them three times now and everything was super smooth.
