Hi after reading your post it sounds like a Armory wallet. If you look at how to restore armory backups they are separated in 4 characters. Maybe you use question marks to divide the characters. I would try to restore your wallet with Armory and see if it works. You will need to probably try different settings. Go and read how restore let me know how it works.

 I dont understand why do you have question marks in between? Anyway the private key with different characters like that is probably Hex which is 64 characters. I would try leaving out the 001 and use it in bitaddress website. Did you have missing characters and put ? in it.

 Hi, it sounds like encoding is not working. Try this and see what happens
Follow these steps open Notepad on your computer

1- Copy the original text

2- In Notepad, open new file change Encoding -> pick an encoding you think the original text follows. Try as well the encoding ANSI as sometimes Unicode files are read as ANSI by certain programs

3- Paste

4- Then to convert to Unicode by going again over the same menu: Encoding -> "Encode in UTF-8" (Not "Convert to UTF-8") and hopefully it will become readable

The above steps apply for most languages. You just need to guess the original encoding before pasting in notepad, then convert through the same menu to an alternate Unicode-based encoding to see if things become readable.

Most languages exist in 2 forms of encoding: 1- The old legacy ANSI (ASCII) form, only 8 bits, was used initially by most computers. 8 bits only allowed 256 possibilities, 128 of them where the regular latin and control characters, the final 128 bits were read differently depending on the PC language settings 2- The new Unicode standard (up to 32 bit) give a unique code for each character in all currently known languages and plenty more to come. if a file is unicode it should be understood on any PC with the language's font installed. Note that even UTF-8 goes up to 32 bit.

 I see, so electrum may not work, well since you have a wallet and addresses try this it easy to use and uses wallet like you said you want something that can open it.
Go here: https://github.com/prof7bit/wallet-key-tool/releases and download this exe. It requires java v7.0 so download that at: https://www.java.com/en/download/windows_xpi.jsp. Once you install all this i recommend running it on offline airgap computer. Then run the tool, click the load button and select your core wallet if it has password type it. Then you will get a list of all address in the wallet. Copy your address then get your keys. This should work because it will search just your file.

  Hi, i think i can fix this for you. Try going in bitcoincore and use list descriptors true command. This will output the descriptor and master priv key. Then once you have that key, go download electrum wallet from www.electrum.org. Start create standard wallet, then next select use master key then type your key from bitcoin core. Your wallet should show up on screen. Maybe you can find your address you had the money in. How much was the loss?
