I'm frustrating by try to recover some very old wallets (password long lost). Hence:

"Proof of Stack of Amnesia Wallets"

So you stack your wallet files which passwords have been forgotten. Then we have a decentralized mechanism in place for try to recover these "stacks". The chance of recovery will always greater than 0. Then it'll have a mechanism for rewarding computing resources providers for recovering these "stacks" which came form a proportion of recovered stacks.

There'll be a (quantum based or whatever) mechanism to prevent user to stacking "unauthorized" wallets into this network. Somewhat like shared wallets? I'm not yet dig into the details.

"The biggest enemy of the long gone ancient digitized civilization is amnesia."  - Anonymous anthropologist from 6018

OK, I guess invest on nootropics could be more practical than this.

@AT101ET

It will depended on what you can do and what you want to do in a startup. I can’t give you an explicitly set of jobs like the general employees. There could be some similarities with COO within many companies but in an early startup environment it may not necessarily apply.

@turtlehurricane

Sounds good! Beside one or few physical offices in major cities I think many business activities can occur in those more pleasant places.

In the past few months we have a small international team working remotely on our project. But I think it's time to have a physical operations location for a seriously business. After considering several places I decided choose London as starting point.

At the same time, I'm looking for a partner in London or willing move to London who has strong interesting in Bitcoin/cryptocurrency trading with scientific and entrepreneur mind. If you think you could be the person, just send the PM, let’s chat!

Survey for Liquidity Providing
by
Bitbird
on 18/06/2015, 18:27:50 UTC
Hi there!

This is a market survey for liquidity providing business which I'm interesting to start.
The polling questing is: Which crypto-currency market you would choose as a market maker?
You can also suggest other markets and the reason of why or why not.

If you don't know what is market maker you can refer to these videos:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBeOmNgW_mk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqK6H1JPjv0

Also by checking http://coinmarketcap.com/all/ you can find out the volumes of many crypto-currency markets.

Thanks for the voting and opinion.

Cheers!

If there're needs in liquidity rerouting service I think I'll start a discussion for it. I‘m working with a small team with strong trading system design background and some basic infrastructure was already there. But still need many works for liquidity rerouting if we choose to do so. My best estimate timetable for alpha version online would be within 60 days after further funding been raised.

I suggest you find ways to attract new investment through BTT or your local community. You need to do some jobs, such as business plan, and financial statement showing how profitability your business.

Could be a good idea! But I'm not really good at these paper works, maybe I should hire someone who can working on them. Also since we can't warranty the profitability, if there're any financial statement they should be only for reference. I'm quite reluctant to do this type of forecast.

I'm always interesting in become a liquidity provider. But the questions is how could I raised fund? As the risks of trading and market making must be dispersed to as many exchanges as possible, so we'll need considerable money for the operation. Putting all money into just one exchange would be quite risk.

These corruption cases has been hazards long-term development of Bitcoin and every cryptocurrencies/digital assests. Appropriate action must be taken!

Hey guys,

Bitbird & I have a deal...

Bitbird,
1) Please use Tachikoma's tool to verify I have around 7000 Mastercoins at my address 12bDX26J84x545pzfSZouULeqjfBtAe9Lv.  I'll be selling you 1000 of these.  I bought these directly via the Exodus address.

2) Once you're satisfied I own the coins, please transfer the 25 BTC to my receiving address 1LqVYQunBMCmiiNzY62Z6oYPzwM2hGE38h.

3) Please provide the BTC address you want to receive your Mastercoins at

4) Once I receive the BTC, I'll post the details that Mastercoin Advisor gives me to have the community verify the data, and then I'll make the transactions from my bitcoin-qt wallet.

Cheers!

* Also whilst I'm a man of my word and don't want to be a PITA, BTC has tanked ~10% since I made the offer making the trade 10% less valuable to me.  I'll still honor it but Bitbird mentioned it may take a few days to respond - if BTC tanks substantially further before receiving the BTC I reserve the right to withdraw this offer - sorry guys.

Hi lishbtc,

Number confirmed!

Duo to I'm going abroad and the larger amount of the transaction, I would like to ask an escrower. If dacoinminster (or any reputable hero member by recommend) willing to act as one that would be great!

Some alt-coins ideas I'm working on
by
Bitbird
on 05/09/2013, 19:33:20 UTC
1. Crazycoin: As fast as possible to produce the greatest amount of the coins. Difficulty only continued to decline. Suitable for simulated unlimited inflation. (What a crazy world!)

2. Randomcoin: Most of the parameters are random decision. (This must be fun!)

3. AIcoin: All computing power have contributed to the AI which build into the distributed systems. This distributed AI systems then decided what's it wants to give as feedback/reward. (No! I didn't created the Matrix.)

4. Onecoin: The total number to be issued is One. With (almost) unlimited number of digits after the decimal point. (This coin will only be used by the AI of AIcoin?)

5. Destrocoin: All coins are pre-generated by the system as initial value. All computing power will be use for eliminate these figures to manufacturing deflation. All new created wallet will already have large quantity of coins inside but if you don't send them to another wallet with less coin than these coins will subjected to destroy. (Utopia of equal distribution of wealth?)

6. Immortalcoin: Every coin are back by one life's DNA data. If this coin continuous flow to the (long enough) permanent, future technology will allow this life to revive again and again and again. (Do you really want to become an electronic ghost and spend by people?)

7. ... (Speak too much)

Which one do you like? I might consider opening a development project. Cool

note: This can be move to the Off-topic since none of them are working cryptocurrencies.
