Replacing Fiat is not a peace of cake. Bitcoin may become more preferred currency over fiat after few years but reaplacing fiat is not possible in even 100 years.

Scamming is everywhere, from paypal and credit card frauds to bank frauds. Even Bitcoin is now its part. It can't be stopped. 

I use blockchain wallet as I never had any troubles using them. BTC-e seems like a great option too.

I won't suggest putting a lot in bitcoin, only upto a limit you can afford to loose. 

Now how fun of a vacation would that be, and just imagine all the fun intoxicated crypto chats with fellow bitcoiners!  Cool

I think it has the best design of all models I've seen. Simple and clean.
To me it doesn't matter that it's a one-way only machine: In future nobody will use fiat anymore, so it doesn't matter.

Looks interesting. How far are they from launch? Are there any major open problems/tasks or is it just finetuning at this point?

Average Joe just simply doesn't know enough about bitcoin, he doesn't get the concept, he doesn't understand, the source code is alien, the blockchain is alien too.

The numbers are still too small. The security is solid but the transactions do not compare to the smallest of countries.

I think it was a somewhat good year so far. A lot of things are in motion and a lot of adoption/developments happened.

Sadly yes but I try to use Bitcoin to make more Bitcoin in the short term.  I will admit that every time I do spend my Bitcoins on something I cringe or when I cash out for fiat that is the worst feeling!  Many times I've actually lost by not holding so yea

I must admit I'm disappointed with you Charlie.  If you are truly innocent then you must not plead guilty to *ANY* charges that you did not commit.   We cannot permit the Federal Mafia to simply threaten everyone into submission.  This sets a very bad precedent for the future and other Bitcoin users.

Alts are outcome of bitcoin and its success.They couldn't be unseen either while some of the many had many their way till the up and stood out reaching a price level

I guess only the 15-20% of the world knows of bitcoin as of now and even less percentage of people use it for daily purposes.Some people aren't even familiar with the term.They are like what bird is that? When you talk about bitcoin infront of them LOL
