If this is true. Did YOU file a police report? If you did the storage company should reimburse you. They carry i surance for this reason. Also the police should be able to get access to the cameras. If what your saying is the front desk girl was involved then the storage unit is absolutely responsible. Id spend your time gathering evidence of what was stolen and prepare for civil litigation.
All done as you mentioned, two burglaries and another attempt on the unit. Inside job. The loss is so big, it maybe they file Bankruptcy. The Manager, is allowing homeless in the lockdown period of 9 PM to 6:00. Best time to commit crimes.

Hired a lawyer, case is solid to prove neglect in the security practices. I am more damaged as a collector and love for the physicals. I bought with BTC, so it's a sadness for but more for the physicals. Criminals are peeling them, and the Sheriff's are so overwhelmed with other burglaries that in CA crime is out of control.
