Hi.  Yes, we still have low liquidity for the XBE tokens which is why you don't see many trades on the exchange for the XBE/USD pair.  This is to be expected at this stage of the project.  A venture capitalist investing in a start-up company, put money into an initially illiquid asset. The same is true of Bitcoin Enhanced, which is an example of a Self Managed Investment (SMI).  Like the early days of Bitcoin people create the value in the tokens and it takes time for the liquidity to grow. 

In effect the token holders are creating their own asset.  The ideal strategy would be to put $10 into Bitcoin Enhanced and tell two friends.  In that way liquidity would soon grow as long as the algorithm continues to provide better returns than Bitcoin.  We have not yet cracked how to communicate with people that Bitcoin Enhanced is the way they can help secure their futures by BUILDING their own asset that has no links to the fiat system.  Please let me know if you have any ideas.  Branton.

I guess time will tell.  One key thing to remember is that the project simply provides the opportunity.  The forecasts have proven they can add value to believers in Bitcoin by using some of Bitcoin's downside volatility.  It is up to people to decide if this is the kind of investment they want.

In other words BTC is our inspiration.  Satoshi wrote his paper in the aftermath of the 2008 Financial Crisis which had shown just how fragile the fiat system is.  BTC has shown there can be monetary value outside of the framework of governments and central banks.  Bitcoin Enhanced is taking the vision of a more robust financial system and people-generated value the next step by providing hedge-fund like returns that still are as independent of the fiat system as BTC.  Like you we respect and love BTC and what it stands for!
