Now that you mention it, the Texas Bitcoin Foundation is actually working with CHOLLA PETROLEUM INC, not the Texas State Technical College; they use the TSTC as a cover for their thriving OIL and GAS business while "certifying" Bitcoin miners.

Cholla Petroleum Inc's CEO is Gideon O. Powell.

Also, the "programs" that TSTC offers have nothing to do with Bitcoin education, but rather with training workers for Cholla Petroleum, who want to mine Bitcoin and claim to be super sustainable by using a grid they own.

Foxpup bitcoin scammer

I noticed under my profile a trust rating left by an user called foxpup who leaving the exact same reviews on at least 10 profiles.

Interestingly all those profiles mention the website hrf.org as a scam.

Is Foxpup working for hrf.org?

Topics that I started:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5433634.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5433637.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5433657.0

Certainly, a mention of hrf.org triggered this user.

I support a probe into Foxpup's ties to Brock Pierce, Alex Gladstein, and Thor Halvorssen Mendoza.

The Team is compiled of contract employees, which I do not believe represent Advantage, as they are not full time employees so they are not public for their safety.
Who then exactly represents Advantage? Since you claim to be a registered company in Canada, why not revealing who exactly is behind your company, your previous experience and competence? And please don't use "satoshi was also anonymous" argument since he didn't ask anyone to invest anything, unlike many similar business that ask people to invest money while wanting to stay anon and then use that ridiculous excuse.

Let me help you:

Human Rights Foundation's Bitcoin & Ukraine Scam

While doing research about the Texas Bitcoin Foundation txbitcoinfoundation.org https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5433634.0 and Brock Priece's bitcoinfoundation.org https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5433637.0 scam I stumbled upon a website called hrf.org that claims to be a "Human Rights" Foundation asking for Bitcoin donations.

A little bit of Googling reveals that hrf.org started asking for Bitcoin in 2018 December and I was able to track down two Bitcoin address in Internet Archive that shows very small donations, however I see news articles mainly originating from Alex Gladstein https://twitter.com/gladstein about millions of dollars of "support for Bitcoin development".

The most intriguing aspect is that Brock Pierce has donated millions of dollars to thefire.org, which was founded by Thor Halvorssen Mendoza, who is also the founder of hrf.org.

It should be noted that Thor Halvorssen Mendoza has been accused of being a pedophile child molester and a con artist.

I found a donation page made by hrf.org at https://hrf.kindful.com/?campaign=1184760 that mentions operationsunflower.com which is now a private site but on a copy of it is still available in Internet Archive shows that hrf.org scammed people out of Bitcoin in the name of "Ukraine Aid".

There is enough evidence to support the scam accusation, such as the fact that they solicit "donations" but the only event they have ever held is a "TBF Launch Happy Hour" with caviar and champagne:
https://www.txbitcoinfoundation.org/events

They promise the following on the page https://www.txbitcoinfoundation.org/programs:

"The Satoshi Papers will feature essay..."

"...the Foundation will earmark a separate fund, the Bitcoin Developer Fund, to provide grants for developers..."

To me, it appears that the Texas Bitcoin Foundation will eat your entire donation rather than providing any educational activities at all.

Not to mention that all Bitcoin developers can be directly supported without the need to donate to an intermediary that is only set up to defraud people.

Scam American Bitcoin Foundation by Brock Pierce
by

on 09/01/2023, 15:39:59 UTC
This topic is about the phony American Bitcoin Foundation bitcoinfoundation.org, which is based in Washington D.C. and is run by Disney star and child porn collector Brock Pierce.

The most recent information I could find about it was that its charitable status was revoked by the IRS on 05-15-2022 for failing to file IRS 990 forms for several years.

Regardless, Brock Pierce appeared on Fox News as a "chairman" and represented the said foundation at Joe Biden's Hanukkah party in the White House.

This topic is about the phony "Texas Bitcoin Foundation," which established in Richardson, Texas in November 2021 with the EIN number 87-3669781.

Any information about it or its "funders," Avik Roy , Natalie Smolenski, and Blockstream advisor Tuur Demeester, should be posted here.

Twitter handles:
https://twitter.com/NSmolenski
https://twitter.com/Avik
https://twitter.com/TuurDemeester

They "website" txbitcoinfoundation.org is littered with phrases like "we will" and other similar promises.

To me looks like the Texas Bitcoin Foundation is a scam.
