Bitcoin just crashed to $102 on BTCE. Litecoin appears to be more stable.

Dual 750W should work for your setup. I believe if you time the starting of the 2nd PSU properly with the first, you may be able to avoid some problems with powering the powered risers with the PSU that is not powering the mainboard.

It is (quite) impossible to compute the public key of an address, as the address is computed from the hash of the public key

Linode is cheaper and better if you dont need all the various services provided by AWS. AWS is overpriced.
