Re: Investment is for everyone

I think everyone should even have an investment mindset, you must not have it all before you start investing, with the little one have you can start acquiring properties, gold or even buy bitcoins, at the long run you will see the result of your investment.

So investment is not only for the rich or wealthy people , but it’s for everyone even in that rural area you can acquire a land as time and years goes by there will be development, I could remember a man that bought a small land along the road , 10years down the line , government took over to work a major road and the building happened to be along the road , he was paid of , which was x15 of what he bought the land with , that was a life changing for him and his family .

Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell?

Despite its volatile nature, Bitcoin surely will always appreciate and thus, investing up to a half of Income is a wise one with future mindset.
Investing up to half of your income it’s not actually ideal , in as much you consider the bigger picture of Bitcoin in the future , you should also understand it’s a long term investment, so you are adviced to invest with your discretionary income, so that it won’t affect you unless you have other business and investment that can fetch you some money , if not investing half of your income may affect your accumulation journey or properly result to selling when you don’t have much money with you .
You can choose to invest half of your income in Bitcoin, it all depends on how much you earn and your financial responsibilities. For instance a young person that is working and is still living and been fed by his parents don't have much responsibilities. Such a person can afford to invest more than half his income on Bitcoin, pending when he'll be totally independent. But for most of us that have recurring financial responsibilities it is not a wise financial decision to invest half of our incomes on Bitcoin.

Except for investors that choose to live way bellow their income but it's not recommendable, every income earners should have a balanced budget. They shouldn't deprive themselves of quality lifestyle according to their income because they want to buy aggressively. My advice is minus your basic expenses from your income and put the rest into discretionary funds from there you will decide what percentage that goes where including Bitcoin accumulation.
Just as have said , unless the person doesn’t have much responsibility, but even if you are staying with your parents that doesn’t mean one will have lesser responsibility, apart from not paying rent and buying food stuff which I believe most of the time u will still contribute one or two to the family, there are little expense you must be involved such as data, transportation, probably light bills and other stuff.

It’s good to invest aggressively but I think it should be on a calculative risk , if the investor which to invest monthly, that means with his income , emergency fund will be kept , he will remove some money for his personal need then discretionary income is what he can use for his investment in other not to sell his hodi , what we are talking about it’s long term , so one need to be prepared because this requires patience if not he may want to sell when he run out of cash , so investing with half of his income is not really good.

If her parents asked for contributions of bills in the house it’s not actually a bad idea , outside is expensive, if she stays alone possibly her salary won’t be enough to cater for herself, from paying rent to other necessary bills , if she wasn’t working it would have been a different thing, but at least she is earning, a little help to her parents is not a bad idea .

That is why It’s idea to have multiple source of income , I can’t imagine myself telling a law enforcement personnel  that my major source of income is from Bitcointalk, because they will just assume that I am scammer , since they assume anything related to bitcoins is fraud, they will either jail you or extort money from you , those people can be inhumane, in as much as we want everyone to know that Bitcoin has come to stay, there are different ways to do that , one can have a close discussion with people who  understand ,  I can’t even tell a police personnel that I earn money in Bitcointalk  not that is bad but with the way the country is your safety first , so it is better one have a side hustle that you can use to cover up when asked what you do for a living , because it’s not even everyone that is supposed to know exactly where your good source of income generate from , some things are better of on said .

Honestly speaking I don’t think there is anything wrong if an investor choose to invest all his discretionary income into bitcoin, considering that you have taken care of your expenses and you’ve an emergency and reserved funds, if I choose to invest all my discretionary income into bitcoin, instead of using it to extravagance lifestyle of buying cloths and during drinks and cigarettes and clubbing, at this point of my accumulation stage I think there is no need for such lifestyle.

I would prefer using my discretionary income to buy more Bitcoin and be more aggressive instead of using my discretionary income for some unreasonable and unrealistic activities.
Investing aggressively is good but to an extent, just as you have said if you have taken care of all your expenses and still got an emergency and reserve funds them you are good to go , you can invest aggressively into Bitcoin and stack up your portfolio instead of wasting your discretionary income in an unnecessary things that you may look back and regret tomorrow, but since Bitcoin is a long term investment I would advice you invest with your discretionary but not all so it won’t result to you selling it , you can just invest little by little and before you know it , you have got a good portfolio.

Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell?
by

You don't have to have it all before you start your Bitcoin accumulation journey, all you just need is a source of income where you can be getting your discretionary income from, and it's through there you invest from, so you don't necessarily need to have it all before you start, along the line you can work on a way to improve your finances so that you can be more comfortable while investing.
I get pissed when some people don't really get this things straight although I know that it could be as a result of ignorance, Bitcoin investment is for everyone no matter your financial status but the most important thing is to have something that you are doing that fetch you some money to sustain the investment constantly no matter how small hence you are kind of investor who will want to do more once you double or triple up your source of income, I think people don't understand why it is very necessary for them to start first, our mindset can be an obstacles to us concerning our investment plans, so if we can break out from such obstacle of mindset that always tell us that we can do it then we can start from their to get to somewhere, the ability to start graduates us to the next level, why will one even think that he has to get to a certain level of financial stability before he can actually invest, I think such person may wait forever if he don't rethink.
Most people fail to understand that it is a long term investment and it’s advisable to start small no matter how little and they will be amazed at their portfolio , the year is running so fast , time wait for no one , but most people allow their mindset to limit them by believing one must be financially stable forgetting that with the little you have , one can start from there , if you are waiting for one big contract before you can invest , before you know it 1 or 2 years has past by them you start regretting why you didn’t start small with that your discretionary income , it’s better to start small than regret tomorrow while waiting for a big amount to start with .

I think someone can start with the little they have if after Investing it won't choke them later but if someone knows that if after Investing in Bitcoin their responsibilities and there needs will choke them then I will suggest they don't invest in Bitcoin at all because it makes no sense after investing you went back to sell your coin because of your inability to take care of your needs and wants.

If the person feel the big contract will definitely come and they don't have all it takes to invest and maintain their investment at the moment I will advise they wait for the big contract and while they are waiting for the contract they are also hustling to make things work out so should in case the big contract doesn't work out they won't be hopeless and stranded. Remember it is not every time, it is better to start small because sometimes you will regret why you started small.
I think they have said it countless times here , when investing , make sure you are using your discretionary income whereas you have paid all your expenses, the money left is what you should use to invest so it won’t choko  you , You don’t need to have it all before you can start your Bitcoin journey, waiting for a big contract to kick off before you start will only cost you a regret , as long as you have a source of income , all you need is to start from somewhere as time goes on you increase your Bitcoin accumulation .

Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL!
by
Bitcoin.com97
on 15/07/2025, 02:49:23 UTC

Waiting for a dip before buying is never a good way to go about your Bitcoin accumulation wether you a veteran investor or not, because by doing so you may miss a whole lot of buying opportunities, if you have gotten to that over accumulation status and you feels like their is no need for consistent investment in Bitcoin, then it's ok, but if you haven't gotten up to that level of over accumulation stage, you have no reason to wait for the dip because you will be wasting valuable opportunities to add up to your stash that has been stagnant due to waiting, so in my own opinion, waiting for the dip before buying is never a good way for any Bitcoin Investor that hasn't gotten up to that over accumulation status.
Gold is available but Bitcoin is not available. The demand for things that are in low supply is high. That is why the demand for Bitcoin is increasing day by day.
I guess what you mean by gold is available but Bitcoin is not available is that gold is a physical asset while Bitcoin is a digital asset.  yes that's actually true and also the demand for Bitcoin is getting higher because it is limited in supply. That is why we should prioritize Bitcoin over Gold because Bitcoin has more advantage than gold.
The Both asset has a unique characteristics but Bitcoin is been prioritized because it is easy to store , transfer, transact globally  and the values appreciate and it can also be accessed globally 247 not gold that one cannot transact , gold can be stolen if not store properly likewise Bitcoin but the risk is on physical gold more ,, gold been a physical asset is just like a paper money that can be touched on a daily basis, selling gold quickly and in good price can be challenging most time , the value also deprecate , so bitcoins is best asset to invest on than gold .
