Re: My opinion about ETH
by

Ethereum is no doubt doing better than bitcoin this year. More people are investing in ethereum than they are investing in bitcoin which is evident in how ethereum has been holding up against the market dip these past couple of weeks. About a week ago it was confirmed that ethereum now has more active addresses than bitcoin does which means more people are using ethereum now.

The blockchains depends on the processing power that is produced by the hardware of the miners for it to run properly, without miners then our cryptocurrency transactions will not go through neither would they confirm. Miners are still very much needed to the network. Until some other way is developed for the blockchain to run by themselves then we need miners

Buy that is what you should do. Buy when there is blood on the streets is the best advise that anyone can give your concerning cryptos or any investments for that matter. When the prices are down, it gives you an opportunity to buy a lot of coins at a cheap price which you can then keep for a while waiting for the prices to go back up then you can sell the coins that you bought cheap for a lot of profit

Re: Still did not get bounty rewards?
by

on 31/05/2018, 14:23:53 UTC
You need to understand that it is not all of the bounties that you participate it will end up paying the token rewards that they promised the bounty hunters. You should talk to the bounty manager to see what it is that is holding up the payment. That way you can actually find out if the bounties will end up being paid out or if it is just another scam project that has ended.

Re: How to ensure the safety of wallet?
by

on 30/05/2018, 20:14:53 UTC
you can make sure that your coins are safe by making sure that you store your passwords, private keys and other sensitive information that is associated with your wallet offline in a place where no one can get to them. if you are using an exchange where your coins are for temporarily, then you should take advantage of the two factor verification security protocol that has been put in place.

Re: bitcoin or litecoin ?
by

Bitcoin all the way. No offense to litecoin but there is no way in hell that I would be choosing litecoin over bitcoin. Bitcoin is obviously the better coin out of the two. It is also the most likely to do well in the future. I am more safer investing my money into bitcoin than into litecoin because litecoin is relatively new compared to bitcoin which means it is most likely to fail when compared to bitcoin.

Re: ICO's in 2018
by

If you want to see upcoming ICOs in 2018 it's as easy as going to the bounties (altcoins) section of this forum to see a bunch of bounty programs from ICO companies that want to advertise their ICO. Also there are websites that track ICO and list upcoming ones just use Google and you'll find more than enough info about them.

Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do?
by

You should make sure to vet the bounties that you are participating in more carefully. There are a lot of scam bounties but you need to understand that there is a way to avoid them, which is by reading up on the project. When you see people talking about do your own research on this forum, they are not just saying so for the skae of talking, they say so because that is the way for you  to avoid scam bounties. Don't give up, there are lots of good ones out there.

Keeping your coins in an exchange like coinbase is not advisable as they can get hacked at any time and you would end up losing your coins. Using a wallet like the one on bitcoin.com is a good idea. They let you keep your private key and your phrase yourself. That is the safest way to store your coins. If you do not own the private key to a wallet, then you do not own the wallet.

Re: How can whales keep the price low while accumulating at the same time?
by
BitcoinBallerina
on 25/05/2018, 09:30:25 UTC
Sell walls. When people see huge sell walls , they start panicking and expecting the prices to drop and so people panic sell which in turn helps to keep the prices down for the whales to keep buying. Market manipulation lies in the buy and sell walls which makes me believe that the exchanges are in on it too. This is why regulations are badly need in the cryptocurrency market.

It is good to see that there is something like this out there, it is adoption like this that convinces people that cryptos can be useful in everyday life which would give them more confidence to start using cryptos. First it was being able to buy apartments in london and now it is a crypto friendly resort. It just keeps getting better and better. Better than anything I heard all month

Re: Universal Wallet Anyone?
by
BitcoinBallerina
on 23/05/2018, 09:42:39 UTC
There are way too many altcoins out there and there isn't a single universal wallet tat stores all of them at the same time in the same wallet. If something like that were to be created, they would have to make it in a way that it is always evolving to accept new altcoins no matter what platform they are based on which means whoever created it will always be working on new updates and that is a lot of work

Re: Trx Hold Or Sell Now?
by
BitcoinBallerina
on 22/05/2018, 12:28:27 UTC
For a coin that is growing as much as trx has been going, it might be the best idea to keep holding the coin because with such growth like that it would not be a longshot for the price of the coin to actually get to $1. Also you can decide to sell the coin now that the prices has gone up and then when the prices fall again and go into the red, you can just buy back it and repeat.

Re: Will we go to 250 Billion Market Cap
by
BitcoinBallerina
on 21/05/2018, 15:04:55 UTC
A trillion is what everyone is looking at right now seeing as the 250 billion mark has already been reached before so it will not be very hard to get to again. A trillion is the next mark that we should all be looking forward to which would mean the prices of all of the coins will go way up than they have ever been before and the investors who got in now would be making a lot of money from it.

Re: Why the Market Cap will EXPLODE in 2018 due to Altcoins
by
BitcoinBallerina

Altcoins are what is bringing the most money now and I would not be surprised if we went into the next bull market due to the altcoins that are being brought in to the market. The altcoins you listed have such high market caps and if that money were to make its way into the market then there would be a lot more money coming in and the market cap will definitely explode

Re: Why hate BCH?
by
BitcoinBallerina
on 18/05/2018, 09:26:45 UTC
I personally don't hate bitcoin cash and with all of the growth that it has shown lately, it is no surprise why so many people and investors support the coin. The problem starts when bitcoin cash supporters start saying that bitcoin cash is better than bitcoin which we all know is not true so that is the only problem. I think that bitcoin cash is a good coin even though it is a fork.

Re: will bitcoin give surprise, ??
by

Probably. I wouldn't get my hopes up though because bitcoin already gave us a surprise at the beginning of the year and expecting another one this year is just being greedy. I wouldn't be surprised if the price bulled again this year anyway because bitcoin has always had a mind of its own and anything can happen to the price in a matter of days or weeks even so there's that.

Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams
by
BitcoinBallerina
on 17/05/2018, 11:51:01 UTC
That is a bit of an exaggerrated percentage don't you think? Sure, a lot of the ICOs that are coming out now are scammers just trying to make some quick money from unsuspecting investors but that does not mean that it is up to 80 percent that are scams. 60 percent is more like it and people should not be scared to invest in ICOs, just be careful and make sure you are investing in a good one is all.

Re: Ethereum TO $400 AGAIN
by
BitcoinBallerina
on 16/05/2018, 20:37:02 UTC
I really hope that this will not happen, because today ETH costs $ 700 and should cost $ 2000 as it was last year, I'm sure that we should reach this level again, at least to $ 1500 because today there is much that is useful for ETH.

I think ETH is going to go to $20,000 next year. It's so important to our community it deserves to be very expensive because of how much influence it has. It might be the first coin to overtake Bitcoin....  Huh
