Re: What are the most promising cryptocurrencies?
by
BitcoinCommodor
on 20/11/2018, 04:56:45 UTC
Hello everyone, please write 5-10 cryptocurrencies in which you would invest, invest now or will invest for a long time. By long I mean from 3-5 years to 10. Except Bitcoin.

My list is:
1. Ethereum
2. Stellar
3. Monero
4. Zcash
5. 0x
Maybe:
6. Siacoin
7. Qtum
8. Lisk
9. Dash
I don’t know if Ethereum is really worth it anymore. I am starting to lose hope in ETH from what I have been seeing and I might just sell of the ones and use it to invest Bitcoin, that would be much better for me. Ripple is even doing much better than ETH and is close to taking the second position from it. I like Stellar, that’s really good coin and the way I’m seeing it, it has a really good potential.

in order to be able to get profits in crypto currencies then you must be able to keep thinking positively, don't despair with the current market conditions because it will definitely change again to become better because crypto prices will continue to change, be patient
There is a saying, a worrier never be a worrier unless he got defeated multiple times. So, the point is being a loser isn’t issue. Everyone fails, and it is a natural law. No one could get successful without loss. But the main and vital part is being loser, don’t let your heart down. Don’t lose your emotions rather keep yourself together and be determined to fight them.

Re: Bitcoin now below $10,000

bitcoin is experiencing a downward trend, I suggest buying large amounts of bitcoin and holding it until it's really the highest bitcoin. so I think it's a good action rather than just seeing bitcoin without action.
A lot of people won’t know that this is another opportunity for them, rather they will continue to panic and miss yet another opportunity that has come their way. The only time they remember to invest is when they see that the price is increasing, they will start rushing in and by the time they get in, the price will drop and they will lose their money again.

You can always get wealthy with BTC. Even in the bear market you can do margin trading and still get rich
Not everyone is lucky, and I don’t even think that any of those people that started Bitcoin then as early as 2010 or so, were able to Hodl it till 2017 or now. Bitcoin was having up and downs then (going through fluctuations) and majority of them, since they don’t know that such bull as of last year would come must have probably sold with the intention of making profit and buying later.

Who will finally be the Blockchain Leader in the world; USA or China?
They are both great countries, and I don’t even see any need for such competition because wasn’t meant to be owned by any body of the government, so they wouldn’t try to take control over it. Even if they want to, how exactly are they going to do that? There can’t be two captains on a ship, there can only be one. But bitcoin is like a ship with no captain, where everyone makes decisions for themselves.

Re: current situation of cryptocurrency for 2018
by
BitcoinCommodor
on 16/11/2018, 05:40:33 UTC
Cryptocurrency for 2018 is not really good. The market price for bitcoin and other crypto in the market are free falling and does not play a major market price increase since the highest peak market price for bitcoin hit on last december 2017. Thus, I am looking for some reason on this why this happen to cryptocurrency market and the real situation for cryptocurrency.

Basing on the graph it seems that market price for bitcoin stabilizes and eventually fall. The investors were withdrawing their investments on bitcoin for a certain reason and that is the cryptocurrency regulations. The blog from advisor.lk which has been posted by their staff writer stated that the current state of the cryptocurrency is not so good for the current owners as the currencies free falling since January 2018. , The blog stating the multiple reason for this and thus reasons for the decreasing trend and the major factor considered to be the government regulations on the cryptocurrencies, due to the various regulations imposed by the Chinese, Japanese and Korean and other governments resulted in major steep fall of cryptocurrencies.

The blog were talking about also with the two reasons for the government regulations, one is cryptocurrencies lack intrinsic value and governments view private currencies as a threat to their sovereignty.

Probably we could not expect bull run for crypto in the year 2018. We should not hope and expect for it to happen.

Well, I’m just happy it didn’t drop that much as I expected it would. Although I’m hearing news that it may still drop again, cause the bear is not yet over. Bear will always have a long duration than a Bull market :Bull just came last year and lasted just a few months and now is Bear is likely to take a year and a half or possibly two years before we see another bull.

Re: Regulations help stock market exchange, and it will in cryptocurrency!
by
BitcoinCommodor
on 16/11/2018, 05:09:40 UTC
Regulations actually weeds out fraud and financial criminal activities in the market making investors comfortable in their investments and not worry that one day someone will make off with their hard earned cash. Now, i just hope that this regulation will be pro crypto currency holders and not anti crypto currency.
That is always the main essence of regulation actually, as that would help put some policies and rules in place that will not only curb fraudulent activities, but will also curb any unlawful doings, most especially when it comes to market manipulations.

I believe the existence of regulation in the cryptocurrency space will really help a lot with that, and I believe as time goes on, with such in place, the market will grow to become more matured, usable, and give investors assurance that the market is somewhat covered from illegal activities to some huge extent.

Well said, regulation is important for everything that includes money. Whenever money is involved in something, there are huge chances of corruption from any side and anywhere at any level. Better is to make sure things work fine and it would be possible only when government has authority to punish someone on cruel or illegal act. Bitcoin must be regularizing.

I think that ICO scammers will not just take off with your invested money.

Probably also they selling your ID. proof of Identity + Selfie + proof of Residenz
Uploaded KYC ID documents + selfies and address data are sold with large quantities on the darkweb, which are probably collected via scam projects.

What do you think?.

check these screenshots for example

This adres http://wallstyizjhkrvmj.onion where they sell that shit

Yes they do that and this is not the first time, it has been happening for long and since you know that, it’s left for you to learn to avoid making mistakes of giving out your personal information online. This is one of the reasons why it’s good to have fake, disposable email address that you can give to anyone without worrying about what happens next. Then you also need a fake number that you can dispose at anytime. Lastly when you’re registering make sure not to use your real name.

Re: Bitcoin (BTC) Long Term Price Forecast
by
BitcoinCommodor
on 15/11/2018, 06:15:07 UTC
BTC/USD Long-term Trend: Ranging

Resistance levels: $7,200, $7,400, $7,600
Support levels: $6,400, $6,200, $6,000

The price of Bitcoin was range bound in the first week of November 2018. In retrospect, the digital currency was ranging above the $6,400 price level all through the month of October 2018. The major bearish event is that on October 11, the bears went deep into the $6,200 price level. While on October 15, the bulls had a price spike that reached the high of $7,600  but price pulled back to the low of $6,500.

That was why we had a price ranging above the $6,400 price level. On November 7, the price reached a high of $6,565.66 but was resisted. The digital currency was in a downward trend after the resistance at $6,600 price level. The digital currency is likely to fall because price is in the bearish trend zone.

Meanwhile, the price of Bitcoin is below the 12-day EMA and the 26-day EMA which indicates that a bearish trend is ongoing. The MACD line and the signal line are below the zero line which indicates a sell signal.
I don’t really know if I should sell or continue to wait. But I’m believing that in three months from now there might be a Bull trend. So there might be no need to sell and as long as the market is above the $6000 mark, I’m okay with it. But I fit drops to $5000 then I will sell immediately till further notice that it is going to increase. But I have a strong hope that it will increase in three months from now.

Today, many people use Bitcoin for investment purposes. There are a lot of people who have paid with Bitcoin before, what do you think about this?

I have never used Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency to buy what I need, but I have only bought gift cards with it. I have a BitPay wallet which I don’t make use of regularly, and last year I had money in that wallet so I decided to buy an Amazon gift card with it, which I did.

I have heard that you can also buy gift cards from other sites or buy through sites like purse.io but I have never thought of doing that. BitPay is much safe to me.

As a good trader never trade to altcoin you never heard of and hoping to some jump high of the price it was volatile hence you buy token without any popularity or "know about" to the consumer or someone like you a day trader.
Yes that’s true. Trading a coin without having no knowledge about it is like going to war without having your gun, cause you’re just going there to lose. I can’t trade any coin I know nothing about, cause that’s very risky, you will be gambling with your money and still at the end you will not show up with anything. So it’s good to trade what you know, and not what you know nothing about.

Re: Impact of Italy's crisis on the Bitcoin price?
by
BitcoinCommodor
on 14/11/2018, 05:37:10 UTC
With Italy making a big statement to not follow with the imposed European Union budget (see this crazy sequence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erSSC85CME4 ), things are starting to get serious. Salvini may be nuts enough to not be bluffing.

Are we going to see the start of the biggest EU crisis yet? Italy is no Greece, it is too big, if the same scenario happens (this time with the far right instead of far left but same result) are we going to see an impact on the Bitcoin price?

If Italy goes Greece the consequences will be felt all over the world IMO.
Speak for Italy, not for the whole world. Whatever that is happening to Italy will only happen to Italy alone and won’t have anything to do with other countries. It’s not even going to affect Bitcoin cause Bitcoin doesn’t rely on that. Bitcoin stands on its own and situations like this cannot have any impact on what will be the outcome of crypto price.

Re: $1000 to spare each month, how would you invest it?
by
BitcoinCommodor
on 14/11/2018, 05:02:36 UTC
This will be more likely for you to decide, on this I mean will you want to make money on long or short term. But it could be good to play 50-50, investing one half in some safe and long term investments and one half in something that can be potentially good pick with some good chances to have good profit.
I will also say the same thing, best to divide the money 50/50 and go for Bitcoin. If there is no other investment you can go for, then you can save the other part of the money, there is no need to risk all in cryptocurrency. There are other investments just like real estate. A lot of people make money through that and that’s the next thing I wish to go for cause lots of my friends who are investing in real estate are really making it.

Re: People are Calm!!
by

on 13/11/2018, 06:00:22 UTC
I think in 2019 we will see a good price for all coins, all coins that have a legit project. I will wait until then and i will get more crypto coins and i will hold until i think they grow enough. I think the most of people who hold crypto coins waiting for a massive grow, and only some sell their coins.
We are still in a good price as far as I am concerned, as I believe mostly that there is a lot to come for this market in the long run and for the fact that when this market reach the level of mainstream adoption like we are seeing already with the way some projects are popping up, I believe there will be so much to be thankful for when the time comes.

Those who understand all the things I mentioned above and the fact that with real life usage, this market will be top notch will never have a reason not to be calm. Only those who worry for nothing at all will always do.

In today's world the dollar is the cause of poverty, and every time America raises interest rates it plagues the world's economies. The BTC is the only alternative to the dollar.
Hahahaha man you just have gone little crazier. This isn’t happening right now. But yes we all are well-wisher of bitcoin and hope this would be happening as soon as possible. You can’t believe if someone is saying that current scenario of bitcoin is so gloomy and bright. No, rather governments are not regularizing these coins that is biggest problem for people in using them easily.

Re: What do you think about crypto currency issued by the government?
by
BitcoinCommodor
on 13/11/2018, 04:56:33 UTC
It is said that central banks plan to release their own curypto currency in some countries, for example Japan..

How do you think about these crypto?

If ever the governments will issued a cryptocurrency of their own I think it will be hit for a reason that many people are still a believer of their own government however I don't see it as a totally positive thing because I think the government only wanted to control the cryptocurrency such as maybe put a tax into it. Well we can't really say something.
There are totally two school of thoughts till now that I have read about. One is, government would never do that because if it would, those with big population took over maximum crowd and they would be like whales. And in contrary, low populated countries would suffer badly. Second, how 206 or even more countries have different curio and how they would integrate it.

Re: Do you still belive in Crypto ?

on 10/11/2018, 07:11:07 UTC
Indeed crypto is growing and has a far-reaching increase. Seeing the current development can be said crypto is very useful and has good use value. The many crypto communities are able to provide extraordinary knowledge.
I feel that the spread of the negative news will not affect the market because these are only those guys who either loose in the market due to their mistakes or do not want someone to loose in the market because they do not have the idea of how potential Bitcoin or any other coins could be in imparting wealth. A 10 year old market is a newly born market and if we trace back the traditional market, we would come to know that it is decades older than the crypto market and has still not gotten saturated so i feel there is still great potential in the crypt market.
Whenever there is a down market, it is down not for the time being but for a long time and I think it will take time to recover this time as well. It is never a matter of days or weeks but a long time of recovery as the market moves slowly by the push of the market forces. Like it took almost three years for the market to recover after the fall in the 2013, same span of time might also be required here.

Re: Don't forget to be more Patience - Hold more coins
by
BitcoinCommodor
on 10/11/2018, 06:26:58 UTC
Everyone are shouting here, and calling out for the next bull run and yet the market is still not responding for everyone's concern. The bull market is not showing any sign for the remaining 2 months of 2018, and this is why people are keep on panicking.

My golden advice to those who are still waiting for the bull run is that, don't forget to be more patience and always play long run. Do buy more good coins, hold more potential coins so when the bull comes, you have the chance to take more profit.

Let's be more positive in this market even if the situation is not in favor to us. Pump and dump are still on a roar, patience plays the best role to those hodlers, let's be more like them and just enjoy the current trend.

Patience is rewarded, we have already experienced a long fall, wait a little longer, since July we are in the accumulation stage.
You never know how long you would need to wait more. Also we have had this growth in July but that was considered as the artificial growth. However the stability in the value of Bitcoin after then has been notable. In addition, patience does matter and impart value to the portfolio. And if you hold more coins, it means more value so why not to earn? A wise man would do nothing but avail great opportunities.

Of course you can be rich with Bitcoin and still have the right time to buy Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin's price is very low and now it is possible to earn a lot of profits in the future. So, I do not think you'll miss this golden opportunity.
There are still huge chances of great turnouts and i believe that one could become rich by investing in Bitcoin in such a time when the market is bit cold. But in order to collect the wealth in Bitcoin, you need to have the wealth of wisdom without which you might face troubles in dealing with your assets whenever the market gets red. Often investments decisions are the reason of loss in the market.

Re: Will bitcoin stay relatively stable and become a stablecoin?
by
BitcoinCommodor
on 10/11/2018, 05:06:31 UTC
it seems that there will never be a coin that can be stable, everything must have an up and down price movement which will be influenced by a very high demand, so a stable coin will show that the coin has no good development.

of course there is ,  do you here about usdt ?  that is a stable coin and that is under on crypto category .  being stable doesnt mean that a coin has no development , sure it is still being develop but its just doesnt have a volatile nature just like what we have on cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin , eth , bch , etc .

speaking of bitcoin , bitcoin is experiencing a stability right now because its value isnt moving for a long time although this might change verry soon .
What makes a coin stable is the fact that the value is controlled and pegged to something, which you and I both know that, is not the case for bitcoin. Like you have mentioned, what we are expecting now is just some short term less volatility which has happened way before and was even a very long period few years ago, and the fact that is happening, does not mean the market has become a stable coin, but the fact that it has reached a juncture between the bears and the bulls and it is absolutely not something that will last forever when it comes to a decentralized market.
