The main difference between bitcoin and US dollar or other fiat is that there is unknown supplied supply of fiat, it is not easy to plan our financial position as we do not know the money supply. There is known supply of bitcon.

Yes. Competition is good. We will see the situation is 35 year's time. Or maybe even earlier as bitcoin grow exponentially.
LTC will never reach zero. LTC prices will have a direct correlation between BTC prices. LTC offers an alternative to bitcoin and it has made itself a well known enough currency for it to not drop to zero.
Bitcoin enthusiasts were also LTC supporters too certainly they will not allowed it.

The price of bitcoin has risen a lot recently. All the altcoin price dropped relative to bitcoin. This might change in the next few months, when trader start looking for new pump targets.

It is quite possible for the price to be over $600 by the end of the year. A few weeks ago, I thought the price will be over $350 by the end of the year.

If the price goes up and down around $315 for a few weeks, then it drops below $300, it is good time to buy.

What price do you think it is cheap? With no actual usage of litecoin, and it is just a mimic of bitcoin, why would anybody buy it?
technically price is cheap when its below the 200 day moving average on ltc/btc chart. this just happend and we saw heavy buying.
it will touch the line in next days again and we will see what happens. there are also some bullish signals on ltc/usd chart.
The price is cheap when the cost of mining is similar or higher than the price. At that point, miner will stop their miner and stop dumping.
Yes that bitcoin has crossed $300 mark recently so it would be hard to buy for the price of lesser than $300. But some people here are always being bearish and expecting the begun praise at hand to hit $250 level. But I too do not expect that may happen.
The bitcoin price is too unpredictable. We do not know if we can still buy under $300. The price may drop briefly below $300.

there is one requirement that you must have to start a coin, you must have a distributed network of miners that does not go down in hashrate but always increases. solve that first....

I think most of the above mentioned coins are working well. Most of them have distributed network of miners.
I always remember this story when I see a thread like this, it gives me hope for bitcoin.

That is a very inspiring story and a very lucky investment for that guy. If only we could all be that lucky. Thanks for posting was a very good read.
Compared to later comers, we are lucky. So hold your bitcoin and wait for the price rise. We might see our coin appreciate many times.

Looks to me more like some "organic growth" after a couple of good news.when exactly does a bubble begin? it's definitely not when a new ATH is claimed. with this topic I tried to capture the beginning of this bubble as early as possible. it makes totally sense that the growth right now is barely parabolic. give it a couple of more weeks and this topic will become more obviously relevant.
For a new ATH, it will probably be late next year. A bubble will burst. A new bull market is my favourite. We need a very long bull market.
In a period of crysis like now in Italy, what can help BTC?
Like I have suggested some Mediterranean friends, put a certain % of your pay into bitcoin. Please, over 1 million people can't be wrong who use and understand bitcoin and the power that comes with it and what it will be able to do in the future.
Maybe it is a good idea to ask our friends to buy 1 bitcoin each. There will not be more than 21 million people having more than 1 bitcoin. We could be the world's top 21 million rich person.
