Kepler is the first robotic company to build an international ecosystem for the development and production of AI & robotics. which will bring together developers, investors and customers from around the world.
this is probably a very potential ICO. you can visit it here
https://keplertek.org/

I can support your claim! Kepler is one of the most promising ICOs of 2018.
I even joined their signature campaign in order to make the most of it. It's a chance you don't want to miss.

Re: Bitcoin To Drop As Low As $1000 This Year

That's too much drama I think! Bitcoin holds really well around 6-7000$. I hardly doubt it will ever be $1000 again.

Only you can decide if you want to invest now or just wait for the prices to go down. For me, there are factors such as the season, prices, and news. News as an example of a well-known individual can affect the price of the coin

Re: Google ads banes crytocurrency adverts
by
BitcoinFrik
on 14/03/2018, 18:36:35 UTC
How is this going to affect all the coins to the banning issue?
It's not going to be much of an issue. there are smaller players into crypto that will still run ads. It's not a big issue if you'd ask me.
Sooner or later things will get back to normal. News websites will bring enough advertisements.

Source: https://captainaltcoin.com/facebook-caved-in-to-fbi-pressure-and-banned-crypto-ads-google-to-do-the-same/

It was Facebook first, I wasn't expecting Google to care but it's crazy to see the FBI involved.

But for what it's worth, I think this is good news. Those ads were terrible and I think other sites will follow suit.

Thoughts?

As the titans are out, there are other sources that run ads related with crypto on the internet. This is merely a battle, which crypto lost until further regulations are on.

Kings fall all the time, no king is king forever.
I think ethereum has good chances for the 1st spot, but you can't ever know which coin will come from behind.

Re: Strategy to invest in crypto ?
by

on 12/03/2018, 20:24:42 UTC
I use to trade in short term. I choose a coin which have regular predictable waves (+-20-30%) and set buy and sell orders on the bottom and top of these waves. And it most cases it works for me. I also tried the strategy that you described but it's applicable only for a long term trading.

The best trading strategy, risk-profit is the long term on. Short term trading will just make it impossible sleeping at night.

You have good points, but it's rather hard to guess what's going to happen based on patters. Usually there are new patters in place that you never knew of.
For example, I never expected the market to SKY ROCKET so much in January.

Re: The reason why everything is down!
by
BitcoinFrik

The reason everything is dropping. People are scared SEC & The FCC will shutdown exchanges, ICO's and anyone not following securities laws that now also apply to crypto.

SEC Warns Unregistered Cryptocurrency Exchanges Against Listing Security Tokens
http://strategiccoin.com/sec-warns-unregistered-cryptocurrency-exchanges-listing-security-tokens/

The SEC just made it clearer that securities laws apply to most cryptocurrencies and exchanges trading them >

U.S. regulator urges registration of cryptocurrency exchanges

Cryptocurrencies Plunge 23% Overnight as SEC, Tokyo Whale Trigger Mass Exodus
https://hacked.com/cryptocurrencies-plunge-23-overnight-as-sec-tokyo-whale-trigger-mass-exodus/

What are your thoughts on this matter?

Hmm, I think pretty much the drop we had not long ago is influenced by the correction it's supposed to happen after such a bull run.
Myself for example, never heard of those regulations till now, maybe the big whales are scared.

Re: Ethereum TO $400 AGAIN
by
BitcoinFrik
on 09/03/2018, 20:24:20 UTC
I read some news that Ethereum will get back to 400 dollars.

Do you think these rumors are real? I tend to think yes and I think this will happen soon.

To be well understood, I believe in Ethereum's potential (even though so far I have lost money investing in Ethereum, but I notice that it is still a good project and this will makes it to explode one day) and I still believe that by the end of 2018 it will have an increase of thousands of dollars, but at the same time I feel that it will drop much more than it is now before starting the growth again.

This is an apocalypse! Ethereum can go maximum at around 6-700 USD. Less than that no. The market has only one way from this point, and that way is up!

My own list of promising icos are:
DTA KYC BPS LINO what's yours.

Bro, you went way too far. Most ICOs will be published 2-3 months before releasing, and there are many projects like that.
It's two more years till 2020, you guys might miss the best ICOs on this list.

Definitely! They were pretty much "born" with it. It's easier for a young man to adapt to new tech rather than old people.

Re: Circle buys Poloniex, Bittrex adds TUSD, Coinbase creates crypto index fund
by

on 07/03/2018, 10:43:59 UTC
All of the above developments points to one thing:

Big money, as in institutional mutual and pension funds are on their way.

Last year was the year when hedge funds, who play with millions, entered the crypto-market. This year we'll see the serious big boys all try to squeeze through a tiny door with their bottomless money bags in the BILLIONS.

If you're still sitting on the sidelines in fiat waiting for Bitcoin to finally start rising, you're probably going to miss the party entirely.

Don't say you weren't warned Wink

We are waiting for the institutional money to jump in into the market and see it spike again. Maybe this way the general public will be a bit more trustworth twards crypto.

Re: Is Telegram the new measure of ICO success?
by
BitcoinFrik
on 06/03/2018, 15:06:40 UTC
Well, I think you would be a bit subjective if you consider Telegram a mean of measuring success.
Media attention and the popularity of the ico is the factor that measures the success of an ICO. Telegram members are just one of the pointers.

Re: Your strategy in trading
by

on 04/03/2018, 16:57:14 UTC
I usually sell 20% after 50% gain (sometimes higher) and invest into riskier coin and do the same. I have a more long-term strategy.

HODL strategy almost everytime pays out Smiley

Interesting strategy. But, do you sell the 20% of your coins of Bitcoin or Fiat? Shouldn't you wait for at least 500% profit in order to actually make a difference?

I hardly doubt Binance is scam. That's the biggest exchange out there, with the most users and the highest volume in the last 24hours.
If so many people are trusting it, you shouldn't doubt it.

Crazy people all those that are going all in with Crypto. When the market crashes the risk of losing more than you invested or even losing it all it's high.
So stay put and only invest the money you can afford to lose.

Re: ICO is new way to get Free money?
by
BitcoinFrik
on 02/03/2018, 16:45:30 UTC
You know guys, I actually made some calculations.
Most Americans are not able to participate in ICOs, therefor, when the token/coin is released in exchanges, they will basically buy it (depending on the hype around the coin) and will drive the price up.
So if you invest some money during an ICO, then you can resell the tokens at a higher price.

Re: Will Ripple (XRP) ever go back to $3 again? Can it recover?
by
BitcoinFrik
on 28/02/2018, 14:17:50 UTC
Ripple is still 3rd most popular currencies in the world of crypto after Bitcoin and  Ethereum. MIT recognized Ripple Labs as one of 2014's 50 Smartest Companies for its creation of the Ripple protocol (RTXP) and the Ripple payment network. It was creating so much fuzz that people speculated it might takeover Bitcoin during this time Ripple hit its peak $3.65 and reached to No.2 above Ethereum.

But then... crash... crypto crashed and as of today Ripple stands at:
XRP = $0.92 USD (coin market)

It has dropped -75% from its peak value of $3.65

It's ok whole market was down but they recovered at least some level like Bitcoin from peak of $20k to $6k and now at $9.5k (-50%). Same to all currencies famous crypto currencies but Ripple did not come close to its original position since than.

Here is $36 billion dollar question will Ripple will go back 3$ again?

Ripple has been in the news with so catchy titles like

"Western Union Confirms Plans to Experiment With Ripple"
"Ripple extends partnerships to India, Singapore"
"Saudi Central Bank to Test Ripple Payments Tech"
"Cuallet’s Money Transfer Service Integrates Ripple’s xRapid"

Also its over heard "Starbucks Will Accept Ripple (XRP) in 2018" but to be honest I guess none is helping Ripple to recover to its previous state.

Reasons it has been criticized for not being truly decentralized also, Ripple distribution of the original limited amount of XRP currency has met with a fair amount of controversy too.

We can't predict the future but Ripple team is working hard to get partnerships with Banks and with exchanges which might result Ripple as another fiat money dressed up like crypto. (That's my opinion)

What you guys think of Ripple (XRP) does it have potential to shape the crypto world? Or will be merely another crypto currency?
Can Ripple go back to $3+ again?

Well, I feel sorry for you. You can never know what's gonna happen with the market, so it's always risky. I am pretty sure in a few months you will get back your investment.
I made the mistake to actually sell when it was 1.8$ when I could've sold when it was 3$. :|
See, we all make mistakes.

Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO?
by
BitcoinFrik
on 28/02/2018, 14:15:47 UTC
So many ICO now appeared different, if you can guess you can got your Lamba, eventually decided to invest in Credits, the project has a new interesting consensus algorithm, I think it can really provide the declared speed, the idea is not devoid of logic. Let's see how he behaves when he goes to the exchange, but the beginning is good.

Well, you don't have to guess, you just have to do your research. There are certain pointers, that can be verified in a matter of minutes to check out if the ICO is scam or not.
1. Check out the website (if it's a crappy website, with images that don't have a place in the design, it's scam most likely)
2. The whitepaper spellcheck (if the whitepaper has A LOT of mistakes, it's probably scam)
3. Team check (if the team is not displayed or if the team is displayed but doesn't have links to facebook/linkedin profiles, mostlikely is fake)
4. Google "ICO name + scam" see what you get on google
5. Check what other ICO rating websites think about that ico
6. Check what other blockchain expert think about the ICO
7. If everyhing is good, buy some tokens.
