We have all read stories of coins being sent to wrong addresses (typos or badly copy and pastes)
What would you do if 100 Btc landed into your account? (unfortunately this has not happened to me yet)
I'd probably gave them back, I know is a lot of money but what would I do if I were the guy sending the coins ? I would really love to get them back, anyway 100 btc is 1M at the current price.

Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency?
I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?
Because it was the very first coin to stay alive more than a year and til todays date is the best so far.
Can someone give a thorough explanation as to the difference in buying altcoins with bitcoin, etherium, tether, ltc etc.
I have been purchasing alts with bitcoin on btx. However I have read a few posts on reddit saying you should use ethereum to make purchases and NOT bitcoin.
Can someone explain the differences in purchasing with different methods?
pros and cons, if there are any?
If there is cost implications?
Your valuble information wil be greatly appreciated
I'd prefer to buy alts with bitcoin because, I got buy any coin with them on polo, ether has somo limitations while trading with it and you'r not able to purchase any coin desired.
It is very unfortunate what is happening in venezuela. I wish the united states would forget about north korea for a second and make some attempt to re-establish stability in south america.
As things stand there is nothing I could do to help venezuelans.
Looking at venezuela's currency devaluation there could be opportunities for profit there. Shorting the bolivar. Buying bolivar when its nearer to making a recovery could both yield decent gains if someone could get the timing right.
What are good opportunities for investment outside of crypto? Is it moral to profit off of the unfortunate conditions of people in venezuela and other countries? What do ppl think about this?
Starbucks, placing an starbucks near important places if there's still no one would be a good investment to be made.
Do you think that sometime in the future, Bitcoin might overcome Paypal, as it scales in capacity and userbase over the years?
We already have the ability to create our own marketplace with OpenBazaar, that uses Bitcoin as its payment method, so it should be no surprise that the combination of these two may be a fierce competition for both eBay and Paypal.
Nevertheless, feel free to vote on the poll above and express your opinion about it, if desired.
You nailed it abiky, bitcoin already has overcome paypal and also GOLD!

Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs
I am at a point in my my young life where I need to make a decision about my finances. I have a good amount of money saved up in my Robinhood account, and I have been putting it in the stock exchange, making a steady but positive return. Keyword here is positive. I am very conflicted right now because I think I can earn more money trading cryptocurrencies, but the risks are so much greater.
I have a couple good alt-coins in mind that I would like to buy, but don't have the capital because it's all tied up in stocks. Also, is there even a reputable enough exchange that I can put ~$50,000 in and not worry about it getting hacked or stolen? I mean, with stocks, if in the off chance that my account gets hacked, they still need verification before money can be sent, and my money is ensured by the government. With cryptocurrencies, once it's sent, I have zero chance of getting it back.
What should I do. Should I move all my money from stocks to cryptocurrencies? And if I do, which exchanges are reputable enough? I currently use Binance and have only $1000 in there.
I think is it a crazy idea , but as long as you can manage loses in case of. You seem to be an old member of bitcointalk, so you must know what you'r doing.
