It took us a few moments more to respond to your questions, otherwise you'd have received your payment slightly earlier 
24 hours limit for processing BTC payouts at the current moment is not strict. For 95% of cases the payout speed is 1-24 hours, for ~4% it has taken 24-48 hours, and the remaining 1% don't have proper instructions for payout address. Clearing those cases manually takes a lot longer.
Under development is secure automation for verifying BTC payouts, which will improve the payout times considerably and make them more regular.
