I honestly am not that bad to be honest, I wouldnt maliciously attempt to take a pool down, I have no idea how to.

I can understand however people who have invested thousands of poinds / $ into mining rig etc getting worried, however, my mining rig is my gaming rig, 6990 and a 6970 in trifire, I had already bought the stuff, what i make back from it (which so far is more than both cards combined) is free money for me, its good while it lasts but one thing people didnt bank on is GREED - its how the world falls down guys.

Can anyone genuinely say, that if they were making hundereds of thousands of pounds that they would give it up? he is going to set himself and his family up for life if it carried on like this, I have to say, if it was me, I dont think id do it, and i think if others were in the same situation 99% of people wouldnt want to lose that income.

Why on earth would [Tycho] limit his pool, do you honestly think he cares about Bitcoins? Nope, he is making a LOT of money, far more than Im sure people realise, even if it does go down, hes built a (very nice) website and pool and is reaping the rewards from creating something which cost him almost nothing.

Would you give up thousands and thousands of free dollars? Nope, you wouldnt if you were running the pool.

Yes, it might affect the security of Deepbit, but if it does happen, he will be sat there with 10's if not 100's of thousands of $$ / EUR / £ - im sure it wont tug on his heartstrings at all.

Hes making money off other people doing the work, hell i wish i had the knowledge to do it?!

810mh/s using Phoenix

start /DC:\phoenix phoenix.exe -u http://worker:password@pool3.bitclockers.com:8332 -k poclbm DEVICE=0 VECTORS BFI_INT FASTLOOP AGGRESSION=13 WORKSIZE=128 ASKRATE=5
start /DC:\phoenix phoenix.exe -u http://worker:password@pool3.bitclockers.com:8332 -k poclbm DEVICE=1 VECTORS BFI_INT FASTLOOP AGGRESSION=13 WORKSIZE=128 ASKRATE=5

Memory set to 625 in afterburner and cores on each set to 950 - Im in the UK and have fan at 75% and 2 fans sat on top of the X-shaped bracket behind the gpu - temps about 80oc

I've mined on this server for about 30 hours with 270 Mhash/s a few days ago. I didn't receive any bitcoins at all and Luke-Jr hasn't replied to my private messages (although he has been online on the forums several times).
I think this server isn't trustworthy at all...

No block was found, so you dont get paid, its not Pay per share on this server, its proportional, pool is trustworthy, your just expecting the wrong thing from a small pool whos luck isnt the best at this moment.

I want to run two 5870s for bitcoin mining (since 5970s are literally impossible to find).

The question I have is this: do I need to crossfire in order to take full advantage of them?  I know for sure that my board (an M4A87TD EVO from Asus with Athlon II X4 CPU) will bottleneck because it only has one PCIe 2.0x16, the other is 2.0x4.  If I have to I'll shell out for a new board, but I'd like to keep costs down until I start pulling in some cash with this machine.

Best to xfire or youll have to use dummy plugs, doesnt use much bandwidth though so x4 slot is fine (people are using the x1 slots fine too Smiley )

Also if i go below 550 memory, my card screws up and you have to reinstall the driver Sad

My balance hasnt been updated, it shows 0.0, and ive just heard that others have been paid, please kindly tell us whats happening as i contributed the 2nd most amount of shares to that block we found last night.

worker gpu1 and gpu2 - login ph123uk

EDIT: Also just added a 5970, 2 x 6970's and 2 x 5770's so hash rate should go up a lil more Smiley

The guys have been working on the site, making speed improvements, setting up user stats, the hash rate now seems to be back to what it should be (there or thereabouts)

They also have a live chat on the site which is handy https://bitclockers.com/?action=livechat

Yup, and the hash speed is miles off, added a 5970 to the 6990 on a different computer and hasrate is sticking around 831 / 900 but miners reporting 800 mh/s for the 6990 and around 650mh/s for the 5970 (1250mh/s)

Site seems to be getting faster however
