Sure i understand that, but my account is missing 118 LTC and i was making like 5 per day [10 with double bug].

My Account
Your Balance: 351.93160384 LTC
Total Earned: 469.22631014 LTC
24h Earnings: 10.1091133 LTC

No withdrawal was made, i was waiting till 500 to withdraw.
Account name SeGram same as here, Please look into this.

It looks to me like he just took a certain % of everyone's unpaid rewards to cover himself, rather than only a % of what was overpaid.

If he doesn't do some sort of correction very soon, his pool is going to be permanently damaged :/

Re: Wouldn't it be more fair if the bitcoins were shared equally?

Life isn't fair.

I can think of one surefire way to make something worthless though, give it to everyone for free.

Why would anyone value something that required 0 effort to obtain?

The OP seems to be making the mistake that early adopters were given coins for free and risked nothing. This couldn't be further from the truth. They put time and money into Bitcoin at a point when it was almost guaranteed to be worthless at some point in the future. They risked losing everything they invested. Because they took those first steps, they paved the way by showing that some people value the properties of Bitcoin. This led to others learning about Bitcoin and assigning it value themselves. Each person who values Bitcoin gives value to the entire system. The system wouldn't work any other way.

OP, if Bitcoin is so unfair, I suggest you do something about it instead of complaining. Create you own currency and give it to the world for free. I think you will learn quite a bit and come away with a different point of view.

You're very much correct, but it's still very difficult to not be jealous of those people who made that excellent decision.

Bitcoins for bioinformatics/genetics!

Hi there, bitcointalk!

I'm currently a student who is about to graduate with a degree in biotech and jump straight into grad school for bioinformatics at RIT. Unfortunately, I'm having a lot of trouble scraping together the funds for grad school. I've been looking for ways to fix this, and a friend of mine told me about bitcoins.

So, here's the deal. I've been doing molecular biology and bioinformatics for about 6 years now. If any of you have had your genome or SNP profile sequenced by 23andMe or a similar service, or you just want to know a bit more about any genetic sequence or protein that you can think of, let me know and I will analyze the heck out of that thing and tell you everything you could possibly want to know. I can interpret SNP profiles, analyze full genomes, tell you more than you ever wanted to know about genetics.

I can offer you proof if you like, though I'm not sure what you'd like. If you want, just comment me a short gene sequence and I'll do a bit of analysis on that for you off the bat, though if you want me to do anything fairly complex I may ask for a small tip(1NsEiaoxzZvqmDDLdToDwe55xRiAMZ1xX2), as lots of analysis can be very time-intensive for me to do.

Thank you all very much!

I hope this post doesn't break any rules about soliciting or anything; if so, could someone point me at somewhere else where this post would be more appropriate? I'm a newbie on this forum, I'll post in teh Services section as soon as I'm allowed.
