I finally finished up my 12 port USB hub project! I'm pretty happy with it. This is the first time I've been able to get all 9 of my 2Pacs working at once. The one stick on the side doesn't work when connected to my hub but has no issues with the Anker. I also won't power up if I use a USB meter on it. Not a really a big deal though.
I still have a little more work to do with the power supply. The fan that was included with it was way too loud. I don't care for it being open so I'll get that covered up eventually.

Its going to be a bit late to do a hardfork once that eth gets dumped. Im noticing some people are still buying atm. I guess they never got the news yet.
TheDao is not ETH. They are betting that ETH will survive whatever happens to the DAO. It is a sensible bet IMHO.
If those hacked eth taht have come out of the dao get dumped then eth will plummet much further than it has already. Eth will still be alive but dumped down to very low prices.

I think you would want the price to be unpegged, so that the market can decide the value of altcoins; so the best float to the surface (become more valuable) and the copycats/broken/dishonest ones sink to the bottom.

Isn't "the market" deciding value if it considers a side-chain useful, and increases the value of btc? You don't need an altcoin... unless you like losing all your money.

It will increase the LTC trade volume and will cause it's price to rise. There will probably be a very fast rise,similat to the previous spikes. Over time LTC will gain more traction and it will probably be traded on Bitstamp soon, because Stamp will start losing volume to BTC-E, because of the good arbitrage options between China. Because of the same base source code, it will be simple for all the service companies to adopt it's usage. The future for LTC is probably brigh. In the future, it will be easier to sell LTC then BTC, because it has less criminal history, publicly known creator and scrypt having it's advantages in hash rate growth stability and in not being made by the NSA, that isn't currently an very popular organization.

Well, when that happens, and I wake up to see BTC went from 500.01 to 20 in less than 10 minutes. I will probably rekindle that emotion and vomit.
After I'm done vomiting however, I'll immediately sell sperm, plasma, a kidney, and testicle, run up my credit cards, take out a personal loan, car title loan, and repo-man style use my organs as collateral and buy like there is no tomorrow.
