Thus far, NeoBee had nothing but expenses.  It will take plenty of luck and plenty of time to become profitable.  Expecting divs anytime soon is unreasonable.

@Herp:  If the signals are right, flippers will buy back at a slight loss.  No cause for self-mutilation.

The reception was much better than expected with plenty of merchants signing up to use Neo pos devices, many not even interested in converting the earnings to euros.

As a bonus, due to a partnership, Neo effectively has dozens of locations throughout Cyprus allowing people to buy and sell Bitcoin.

Which part of my post do you disagree with, if any?

slight loss

You most likely don't understand how trading works.  The people who got out @.006 can buy back in now @~20% less, if they feel like it.  That's how traders make money.

First dividend?  There were profits? Shocked

I'm not sure, and of course I assume that maybe not enough yet, but the opening was great, and it's just a matter of time... the point is that only the first dividend was going to give 0.0035btc per share to compensate early investors, am I right? I'm long with Neo Bee, and I wouldn't want lose the train, with those dividends and all the future expectations, selling now to daytrade... (just my thought)

Hey has anyone heard of confirmed refunds being processed. I requested mine be in January and not had anything. Ken has promised it is on the way but I never get a response from the customer service people. Ken replies with one word messages confirming the cheque is on the way but nothing ever arrives.

I am a customer and shareholder and cannot find another customer confirming receipt of a refund.

Hi,
One user, coindesk12, has received a refund, but only after filing a complaint with the Attorney General ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=206488.msg4699254#msg4699254 ).

Others are pretty much where you are:
...
It's now been 8 weeks since I requested my refund and still have not got my money back.

Ken Slaughter is being investigated for securities fraud,
Weekly Update 2/19/2014
...
Management is preparing for the MSD investigation, management believes that the MSD will clear VMC of any wrong acts in Missouri as VMC has NOT offered ActiveMining shares.
...
...so, in all likelihood, your shares are a total loss.

On the other hand, consumer fraud is an entirely different kettle of fish, and would be extremely damaging to Ken's securities case.
You're likely to get a refund if you follow coindesk12's example.

This is a moderated thread, and this post is likely to get deleted.  I'm sending you a copy via PM.

All the best.

People will always say that mining doesn't ROI etc. Take a look at this comment and the reply: http://startbitcoin.com/#comment-1189 A year ago people said the same. Even when Bitcoin was worth $6 people said that "you've missed the train" or "bitcoin mining is dead". Makes me wonder, what makes everyone mine if it's been dead for years. Smiley

^^Funny but true.  Only batch 1 Avalons showed profit for retail buyers.
The rest of the profits were made by the companies selling/reselling ASICs, or people like yourself, selling hashpower to guys who can't math.
Assuming you're honest and aren't simply scamming coins, another common and profitable ASIC business model.

Everything they are doing, how they communicate, how the portal is built is directed to real live functionality. I say this as IT professional related to hosting and web dev. If they would scam, they wouldn't invest that much time to build everything. This was the reason I've invested into 10 shares and affiliate them. I never would affiliate something what is looking suspicous.

I'm really sure if they would get the needed hardware, they have personal possibilities (hardware is from scandinavia and they are also) to get their money back and refund their customers. It's also covered in their FAQ that they will get the harware at latest at the middle of february.

ABitInterested seems to be A Bit twentyseventy...

Absolutely not. I had no contact with twentyseventy until my original post here.

Now that both of you have vouched for each other, I'm totally convinced you can't be the same d00d.

Hi Bitdust - there's functionally no way for us to prove that we're different people. Even if he and I stood side by side (which would involve quite a bit of travel) and took a picture for you, that wouldn't actually be proof enough to conclusively that we're not the same person. That's why I'm not too worried about it.

It's not an accident that ABI and I are posting here around the same time; I asked him to come answer some of the questions posed to him over the past week or so - you'll notice that I'm on here all the time.

Again, for anyone looking to get out, I'm willing to buy 700 more shares at 50% of initial value (.0005 per share). I successfully completed the trade with bitcoinmiami for 300 shares.

Welp, in that case you're totally legit.

Look, I'm not a school hallway monitor.  I don't give a fuck if you scam idots who believe that a pronsite owner won't tell them the name of his site.
The site they are supposedly investing in.
Because he doesn't want his month-old forum name associated with it.
If you can get them you can have 'em.
Enjoy and clean up after yourself.

Those numbers seem way off. For example, Bitfury chips get around 2GH/s and they probably get ~4k dies out of a single wafer. Your cost for a fully processed wafer is also low, though not enough to even out with being possibly 20x on the number of chips.
Cost should be a lot lower than $2/GH/s at the board level to have chance of being competitive though. Cointerra is selling May delivery units in a chassis with cooling, controller and power supplies for $3/GH/s, and that's including markup to cover overhead. Cost for a 55nm product with chips shipping even in Q2 will have to be way below $1GH/s at the board level to be sensible.

Right, should have thought longer about that. [excuses]

Also, yah, should have thought twice about [not sure what] so don't know what I was thinking there.

^^Typical ActM prognosticator fail^^
