Re: Finally!! McAfee is arrested in Spain and now facing extradition
by
Bitfling
on 08/10/2020, 06:37:53 UTC
He got this and he deserves this.
Almost all of us know how McAfee does to crypto but not a way he promotes for better but helping people to become a fool and to believe what he's saying. It's time for him to repay what he does for us and to the government but I doubted he can be put in jail for long because of his age and his money to bail him out from the jail.

Losing his reputation is enough, no one will listen to him now he will be despise by people and the community for leading them to dubious projects and making hype projects that are known scam now, he can still go to jail it depends on his offense and the ruling of the judiciary, McAfee's online venture in Crypto is now over.

Many new projects were promoted by him and ended up losing investors. I thought that with his big name, he should be able to develop the cryptocurrency market better but it seems he just wants to make a profit for a moment

Re: Saving for a House!
by
Bitfling
on 18/11/2019, 12:00:47 UTC
Well from my perspective saving money for a house is a good idea but investing on cryptocurrency is too risky. Even you invest on stable coins there is no guarantee you will get profit maybe you can just lost your money. We talking about buying a house so maybe you should invest on realistic thing

It's too risky to risk a down payment on a house to invest in the crypto market even though it's bitcoin. It's better not to use the money needed to invest because crypto prices always fluctuate. We have never been able to predict the price of crypto in the next 6 months and I think it's better to use idle money to invest so we don't stress

Re: Ethereum ERC20 Tokens Are Gaining in Total Market Capitalization
by
Bitfling
on 18/11/2019, 11:56:54 UTC
we can't argue with that, it's true what happened in the capitalization market is dominated by ERC20 from the ethereum platform, you can see it on Coinmarketcap, many tokens are in the top 100-300 coinmarketcap dominated by ERC20, and that should be a good thing, because the ethereum platform is very well known by project developers, and used, maybe ethereum will be positively affected in the next few years! hope Ethereum can be rising!

Most tokens on the crypto market are ERC20 because they are easier to make and also feature smart contracts. With the existence of the enterprise ethereum alliance, scammers can be prevented and every ERC20 making for commercial purposes must carry out KYC and business feasibility. If this is done, I think there will be a lot of reduced number of scam projects that use ERC20

Re: Good projects/hard to reach softcap
by
Bitfling
on 17/11/2019, 11:55:32 UTC
Few good projects i have seen are having hard time to gather funds, they are still far behind to reaching their target softcap
1. Bitwings
2. EZ365

What do you have in mind about these two project? they are good enough to give a try for me, what do you say?

I can say that our project's founders have invested into about a year of development before even starting our token sale. It is true that the crypto startup space isn't generating as much investment as in the past, but we believe market sentiment has a lot to do with that. Even if we don't hit our softcap target, our project will still be moving forward, however it may mean we won't be able to have as many developers staffed at once. EZ Exchange will be launching in January regardless and we are working on partnerships with strong projects to list. We believe that we are likely to see a lot more investment into the token sale once the actual exchange is released and people will actually be able to use our exchange and see exactly what sets it apart from all the other slew of exchanges out there. We extended our token sale so that there would be overlap in which the exchange is released before the token sale ends. There is a huge lack of trust in the space atm too with a lot of scam projects, but we are to be delivering on phase 1 of our project before the token sale ends, and we will be planning a lot more marketing efforts at that point.

We believe having a viable product in which user's can see the result of our last year and a half's efforts will help to build trust significantly in our project's long-term outlook.

Many projects have problems in raising funds at this time. The number of scam projects that took place some time ago affected a good new project but I think it's good if the developer team has been working on this project for more than a year and will continue to run even though sales targets have not been reached.
I think if on the way the developer team is able to present a good product, investors will be interested by themselves.

Re: The Need to Reconsider Holding altcoins
by
Bitfling
on 17/11/2019, 11:51:12 UTC

BLOCKV
 https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/blockv/

and
THORECOIN
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/thorecoin/

A closer look on these two altcoins will make you have a rethink about holding some altcoins, what to hold and Not to sell off everything if you have to sell. Both token raised from zero usd to a high price. even contesting with the top 100 coins on CMC. i am sure there are other altcoins that made this moves in the market but it's quite unfortunate that few people are holding such while some has sold off.

obviously of course I still choose the top 100 cmc top, because it's more secure when bitcoin price movements go up and they also go up, blockv and thorecoin are a bit strange for their prices to go up maybe because the pump group or I don't know in the bear market it's hard to get the best Altcoin except from TOP 100 CMC, I might be safer to keep it

Agree, I would also prefer coins that are in the top 100 coinmarketcaps, because they already have liquidity and an attractive investor base. Speculating on coins that are still traded in small exchangers may be too risky unless the coins are backed up or have a partnership with a reputable company

Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do?
by
Bitfling
on 17/11/2019, 11:47:26 UTC
The best way one can avoid scam ICOs is by doing thouriugh research and also follow up team to know how genuine and authentic they are if not, we may end up failing inside pit always. I also tell people to follow there minds by investigating rather than going by news from people as news fly's everywhere and people pick without cross checking. Know what you are going in by yourself so as not to miss out.

Doing a research should not be done for a day only, it should take time, so for me maybe less than a week or a week will do as you need to be involved and ask everything that is not clear to you in their whitepaper, and it is so important how they are going to fulfill it. SCAM ICO's are very clever too, so let's always check how are we going to make the kind of investigation we need.

In addition to conducting investigations and research, government regulations are needed to prevent scam projects from happening again. The scam project not only harms investors but also affects confidence in the cryptocurrency market, people will think that cryptocurrency is a scammer's place and this will have a major impact on crypto going forward

Re: XRP demand liquidity
by
Bitfling
on 17/11/2019, 11:44:21 UTC
According to CoinNess.com about 37 companies are now utilizing XRP, either as a way to accept payment or to power international remittance. What are we to expect from XRM with such development comes next year via her price. Do you think the next altcoin season will be bullish for top altcoin cos they are yet to unfold their plans

While you're getting all bullish and all, don't forget XRP team is always ready to sell their heavy bags to noobs. In 2019 alone, XRP has sold more than $250 Million worth of XRP! . And there's no telling how much they would sell in a bullish run. I don't have any doubt about XRP making a run but I doubt it'll be as huge as people are speculating it to be.

Agree, one of the factors why the price of XRP is still stagnant and perhaps one of the factors of the drastic drop in prices from $ 3 to $ 0.26 is the large ownership of coins from the founders. XRP may be a coin that has great liquidity but in my opinion if an altseason occurs, the price spike will not be as big as 2017

Re: BNB time to invest ?
by
Bitfling
on 16/11/2019, 06:05:20 UTC
BNB is right time to invest in market their developments are proving in coming bull run we may see 10 times pump
what is the reason BNB will grow up to 10x in the next few months? the market is not yet very good but if there are major updates in the BNB there might be an increase. especially if there is support from the binance platform it will greatly affect the improvement that will occur. for now it is possible to buy is the best choice but still, analyze market growth and movement that will occur.

Too optimistic if you expect BNB Coin prices will rise 10x next month. But it must be recognized that in the midst of the many coins whose prices dropped, BNB coins showed good performance and at the moment the price movements are strengthening against bitcoin. I think BNB Coin is a coin that is worth investing in for the long term

Re: Reality of tokens
by
Bitfling
on 16/11/2019, 06:01:48 UTC
So regarding the fact that what it takes to create a token for example an ERC 20, i ahve found a gig on Fiverr.
Check the link.
https://www.fiverr.com/wedowo/create-your-ico-website-and-erc20-token?context_referrer=search_gigs&source=top-bar&ref_ctx_id=34a69322-cdbf-40a4-98e6-b9f51a1be52f&pckg_id=1&pos=3&context_type=auto&funnel=657f18cb-30b9-4ede-a7f7-139b402768ed

Seller is creating an ICO website as well as the token for just 50$. So your basic invetsment is 50$, Now you just need to do marketing by just making a telegram group and launching a scam bounty scheme and give members greed to give 10% commissions. And you are ready to scam people.
People choose these scammers to scam them and thats all. Not saying that all of the tokens are of this type but most of them are of indeed.

There are many ways to deceive people and one of them is selling tokens from a fake project. For this reason, government regulation is needed so that things like this do not continue because if it continues, investor confidence will fade and this will affect new projects that are good and have prospects.

Re: What are the not-so-known ways to generate crypto?

Everyone talks about blogging, commerce, using referral systems, bounty, campaign signatures, streaming, selling courses, offering their services in gaming, camwhore. But there are other not so known ways to generate/earn cryptos?

When they talk about it, they actually talk about the opportunity to get crypto in various ways. There are many ways to invest in crypto and we can get crypto without requiring large capital. If you are not interested in participating in the campaign, trading can be one of the solutions to find profits in the cryptocurrency market

Re: how do you identify a transparent project team?
by
Bitfling
on 16/11/2019, 05:55:05 UTC
Well, I don't just trust the team because they have so much award and recommendation in linkedIn, I don't just look for what was their educational background, I want to know their real expertise in that kind of project, I want to know their real identity and how much they are dedicated and devoted with the project they will launch. Making AMA will always be a great thing for me so I will know their real purpose.

Of course, it is difficult to detect whether the project is real or scam only from one side, the best thing is to ask for advice from seniors and experts in this forum, if most say scam then I will avoid it.

It is difficult to distinguish good projects from scams today because scam projects sometimes prepare everything well. But if the developer team continues to communicate the project to its community and also has a partnership with a reputable company, I think the project should be considered a worthy investment.

Australian Home Affairs Minister, Peter Dutton during a counter-terror conference in Melbourne that cryptocurrencies technology is being exploited by terrorists for funding their heinous intentions.

Source: TheCoinRepublic

This issue continues to be rolled out by the Government and I think this is an old issue. If the government has a fear that crypto is used for criminal matters, the government should regulate it and not prohibit it because it is useless to ban crypto transactions. By regulating, the government in addition to getting taxes, the government can prevent if used for criminal activities

Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets
by

on 12/11/2019, 01:43:05 UTC
Spreadsheet bounty campaign make you rich with higher price after calculating with how many coin you are receiving and how much price with exchange market, after get distribution you know your expectations not the same with your reality because price very low after coin bounty distribution, maybe have playing by bounty manager for distributing after price dump.

Agree, this happened because of differences in prices in the market with expected prices at the start of the ICO. One reason is that prices have fallen on the market so that the value calculation has changed, other than that tokens for bounty hunters have not been paid by the developer team.

Re: No Wonder Satoshi Disappeared...
by

Decentralized. Easy to Send and receive. Valuable. These are some of the things we may take for granted. Think of what others who didn't have the foresight may go through in future. Crypto is money. Money is big business. No wonder Satoshi disappeared. https://www.cryptoinfowatch.com/ripples-woes-may-multiply-as-disgruntled-investor-files-fresh-claims/

If satoshi displays his identity from the start, maybe people will think bitcoin is a fraud or ponzi scheme. It's true that Satoshi has disappeared so that his vision of peer to peer develops and this is happening right now with the price of bitcoin which has the potential to continue to strengthen year after year.

Re: Is Litecoin dead? What's happening?
by
Bitfling
on 10/11/2019, 00:44:38 UTC
Litecoin, for all I know, aspired to be the "fast cryptocurrency that big corporations like Amazon were going to start using". As of today... I feel like Litecoin is essentially dying  Angry I hold quite a good amount of LTC and really don't know what to do with it...

Thoughts?

Edit; I found this nice article that summarizes what LTC has been up to but idk how I feel about this...: https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/whats-happening-with-litecoin/

I think Litecoin is still one good investment for the long term. With a large marketcap value and also has a large daily transaction volume, investors can liquidate their assets quickly and this is one of the factors why Litecoin is a safe crypto as a long-term investment.

DOGE/USD is up by 2.2% is now trading at 0.266119 USD. The market cap for the past 24 hours has decreased by 0.584 million USD, The major resistance areas for DOGE/USD are $0.00278, $0.0029, $0.0030, $0.0032 and major support areas for DOGE/USD are $0.0026, $0.00253, $0.0025, $0.0024.

Read More: https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/is-dogecoin-about-to-make-a-comeback/

For now, Dogecoin is still stable at 28 sats and there are no signs of going up again. Maybe because the price of bitcoin is still volatile, so the price of Dogecoin is still not showing signs of strengthening I have several Dogecoin and I think this coin has the potential to rise to the highest price again

Re: Why are you involved with Crypto?
by
Bitfling
on 10/11/2019, 00:37:45 UTC
Aside from monetary incentives in crypto, I rarely come across discussions pertaining to why the average enthusiast in crypto is involved with crypto. While the answer may be pretty straightforward, there are some outliers.

Crypto means much more than just monetary incentives, it's essentially a technical revolution that has involved the masses, something you and I can be apart of. Ultimately, that's probably one of my greatest interests for blockchain and crypto. Another big intrigue for me is the evolution of blockchain tech in itself. I've been around for quite sometime and have witnessed the evolution of cryptos, businesses, behaviors and attitudes.

These 2 factors, along with several others, are the reasons I continue to be involved on a community and business level with crypto. It's become a hobby, passion and business for me.

I want to involve in the cryptocurrency market because I want to take a chance in the technological era. I still believe that technology is something that will change the world including cryptocurrency. With the development of cryptocurrency, people will realize digital assets and the like and I think buying cryptocurrency now is the best opportunity for me for the future

Re: Is this a new process to reject more user from getting tokens?
by

on 09/11/2019, 02:34:31 UTC
I know more experience members are here than me who have information. Is TEMTUM project legit to everyone? I participated a campaign that name is "Temtum" managed "Hhampuz". I worked 1.5 months then waited for 2.5 months (78 days) for get my rewards. I knew that I have to submit my KYC but for KYC they gave me only 4 days and I missed it. Now I banned from telegram group for asking my rewards. Without any tokens!!😭😭😭

KYC should not aim to avoid paying bounties, but perhaps because of government regulations. Some teams do indeed limit the KYC process and as participant bounties, we do have to be aware of this and always follow developments in the group telegram

Re: Low allocation bounty pools pays easily?
by
Bitfling
on 09/11/2019, 02:17:59 UTC
I don't think it's a matter of allocation, it's a matter of whether their project works or not. If their project succeeds in touching the hardcap, whatever allocations I think will be distributed. The difference is the story if the project fails, a little or a lot, surely the developer will think again to distribute the tokens. It may even be not shared at all to participants.

Agree, this is not a matter of bounty allocation but about the commitment of the developer team. Last year there were many bounties whose bounty allocations were large and they continued to pay, this was due to a large team commitment to the success of the project. Unpaid bounties may have a cause and one of them is that the project has not yet been traded on the market or the project is not ready to go on the market

Re: No good projects from a long time
by
Bitfling
on 09/11/2019, 02:14:16 UTC
The problem with the projects in 2019 is attributed to the fact that most projects in the past few years have turned out to be scams, almost more than 90%, and same is the case in 2019. And those projects which really are dedicated  towards developing and improving their coin, people lose their faith in them really soon and these projects end up like others.

The problem in the past few months and years was the number of scam projects, so if there were good projects, investors would not trust them. I think when investors have started to understand ICO or IEO, a good new project will appear by itself and the market will be more excited
