Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc
by

on 24/03/2018, 07:22:24 UTC
Some people really do invest mainly in gold. Gold would never depreciate and its value would continually rise up. Plus it is marketable wherever you are in the world. Each countries ability to print my money is also determined if not affected by the number of their gold reserves. So gold is really the ultimate winner for holding and investing.

Re: Crypto is an Asset or Currency?
by
Bitlord88
on 23/03/2018, 14:33:37 UTC
For me I think it is more of a currency rather an asset factor for the reason that to be an asset, it must continually appreciate over time, and given the nature of bitcoin now and its volatility as of the moment I think it is quite hard to judge what could be the next chapter in the cryptomarket would be.

Re: Would you still use bitcoins if the price would be stable?
by

on 23/03/2018, 08:35:53 UTC
I personally just use Bitcoin for the possibility to earn money thru it. I just cannot use Bitcoin as a means of payment because here in my country Bitcoin is almost nonexistent, only a very few people know or have any idea of it. I would love to transact one day using it perhaps for online banking when I have plenty of Cryptocurrency already.

When the bitcoin goes sky rocket high, then its time to cash out those coins. Either spend it for insurance of your loved ones or use it so start of your passion business. You could also keep it for emergency money. What's important here is to not spend it in gambling or waste it.

Re: Is bitcoin dead?

Nope, Bitcoin is now back on its tracks and is continually rising in value. Bitcoin could have done down times but surely it'll come back even better. Bitcoin couldn't be eradicated as we already versed about its useabilily and transacting advantages. I think Bitcoin could be further practiced and be made to coexist with our current form of fiat Money.

Re: Merit is so unfair
by

I totally agree with you brother... Merit is almost impossible to attain; you are dead right about people being selfish, why would a stranger give his only of very very few smerit to another poser. Let's face it, in reality almost no body does that. You can think and write all day but your efforts will be futile. Merit is however very favorable to those already in the upper tier or ranks as they already have a lot of fixed merit when this system was implemented. People say it is to weed of the spammers and nonsense posers but in reality it is not really helping members who aren't ranked that high; I can't even see the difference from before where there is no merit. I may sound harsh to you but I'm only voicing what the majority is feeling and experiencing right now. Life is unfair.. but we have to deal with it. Good day.

Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022?
by
Bitlord88
on 22/03/2018, 04:32:48 UTC
Not really; abolishing the fiat money wouldn't be a very wise decision as we still need some form of tangible means of trading. The use of Fiat money is long been the standard and there would mean a decade of arrangements and changes if it won't be used anymore. Also the use of bitcoin as a means of trading necesiates internet connectivity plus a device and I don't need think it would be realistic for every people on every corner of the earth to grab a hold of that. 2022 seems very near from now and we still have a lot to improve aside from migrating to Bitcoin implementation.

Re: Can you start from zero cash and make a living with the opportunities in crypto?
by
Bitlord88
on 22/03/2018, 00:40:02 UTC
I personally think you need some source of initial funding at least to start investing in Bitcoin, you need cash for your startup purchase of internet connectivity, and for your coin purchases to grow. Now about relying on Cryptomarket as a source of income I'd say it's not impossible but could be a bit hard if you are just starting now. Many people already got lucky with Bitcoin but those people are those who took the risk in its early unsteady beggings.

I think it would be nice if we could use Bitcoins in paying in fast-food restaurants or any restaurant for that matter. As all you have to do is input or scan then you're done. the convenience is just very beneficial.

Not an expert really... To be honest I am just familiar with Bitcoin and nothing else and just got to know the other cryptos and the story and applications behind it after some months of reading and joining here at Bitcointalk.

Re: Why people says gold is better?
by
Bitlord88
on 21/03/2018, 05:28:51 UTC
Gold will always be ultimate means of trading and will always win over any cryptocurrencies as Gold has long been the holder of standard trading value and its value had never depreciated nor skyroketted that extremely. I'll say that Gold is the best investment also as you are sure your money will be converted into something tangible and universal and more importantly permanently.

Hold your coins. That's the best thing to do right now. Just go with the flow of Bitcoin, don't worry it won't bubble pop as "experts" are saying. Investmenting could also provide to be beneficial if done properly.

Re: Why do people buy high and sell low
by
Bitlord88
on 20/03/2018, 12:45:58 UTC
That's the mindset of a common panic player. Instead try on the opposite approach. Buy when it's low then sell when the odds are high. Just have trust in bitcoin and avoid the negativity that other people say that it's going to burst any moment.

Re: Why not just print dollars?
by
Bitlord88
on 20/03/2018, 05:20:44 UTC
I think if the government just print and print infinitely then the value of Fiat money would definitely drop or devaluate. It would do no good and the prices of commodities and all stuff would definitely go up in proportion. I also think the amount of printed money can only be judged by the current state of the economy or the gold reserves of a country.

Re: Working smart vs working hard - an ultimate guide
by

on 19/03/2018, 10:15:29 UTC
Work hard so that your time isn't wasted and that you'll learn how to further improve your gameplay. After then you have work smart so that you'll be up above the competition. You can work Hard all day everyday but without a goal or thinking about how everything goes you cannot progress or get promoted. Both go hand in hand and both are needed for success.

Re: until when will the bounty program remain?
by
Bitlord88
on 19/03/2018, 02:35:59 UTC
The programs are here to remain for sure. It is beneficial in both parties as they earn thru advertisements or from the services they can provide and as the same time, we as members also benefit a little as we get paid depending on the effort we shared with them. It is helpful in some way as we could earn some extra cash to survive the bills every month.

Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular?
by
Bitlord88
on 18/03/2018, 22:24:57 UTC
Probably yes, as it is then at par with Fiat money. Transacting won't be a matter of timing and it would be very convenient for everyone to have a digital money in their pockets that they could estimate how much they are carrying, just like our money. But I think Bitcoin can't fully replace the standard and benefits also from Fiat money.

Re: Economy in your country

Here in the Philippines, Bitcoin almost doesn't exist. Sadly speaking, our development and modernisation here is very off and slow paced. I hope that one day we could reap the Benefits transacting with bitcoin. There are still a lot to improve in our country and I personally think it would take like 10 years before cryptocurrencies are acceptable here.
