Re: What Websites Can You Spend Bitcoins On?

You can always swing by http://bitmunitions.com and see if we carry some good ammo at prices you are willing to pay! (Hint: We sell all products 15-20% BELOW USD market value. Great way to get extra value from those bitcoins you have.)

Also I agree the https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Trade might be the best resource for customers looking for merchants.

that's interesting. can you convert cnc to btc somewhere?

Of course there are a few big exchanges on the net... Also ASIC miners can't mine Scrypt coins only GPU's.

I just wanted to say while true that no ASIC (application specific integrated chips) have been created specifically for Scrypt, it is far from impossible. Just hasn't because highly lucrative yet. But it will. Scrypt is not completely defend-able vs efficient mining.

Looks great. I have seen other articles showing people places where they can go spend their Bitcoin too. I think this is beneficial to the network because it encourages and facilitates spending. A currency won't survive without people using it!

Good job.

Not trying to be rude, but you skipped over my questions OP:

Also, how do we know you're legit?  Can you post pictures of the ammo boxes you have in stock?  Can you release your address, name or at least registered business name?  Posting cheap prices on fake ammo these days would be a great way to scam a lot of people out of money...

I would love to order from you if you are legitimately selling ammo.

Apologies thought I clicked them all. The main address I own is that of the warehouse and I cannot release that. However, I do have a mail box at 1250 14th Street, Box #112, Denver, Colorado 80217. My real first name is Craig and I will be getting a copyright/incorporation within the week hopefully to protect my assets.

Have had about 8 successful orders so far and processing 4 more at the moment. They should be dispatched as soon as possible.

I was getting errors on the checkout page where the shipping gets calculated
"Error : Packages must weigh more than zero pounds."

Also, you charge tax for out of state orders?

Fixed the weight issue and yes, at the moment, tax is based off Colorado.
Why are you charging tax?  I'm in Oregon, no sales tax ever paid on anything, ever.

Going to revisit the taxing and try to make it use state specific taxing. Didn't have that option at first. I will also get some pictures of the warehouse in a bit.

can you buy guns without a license out here in michigan
Is this even legal? Wish there were guns

of course its legal to ship ammunition. I've bought thousands of rounds and a couple guns on this forum.

Depends on the gun you are trying to purchase. Handguns generally require special licenses whereas shotguns and rifles usually do not. Though I have none for sale online right now.

$50 for shipping, WTF! I would have totally bought some ammo too

Guessing you probably selected an item weighing 10-12 lbs. I am currently working on getting better shipping rates for the heavier items.

How the F do you have ammo in stock?!?

It's not easy. Been getting hammered and it is actually getting hard to keep up.

Prices look good, just waiting to hear feedback before giving it a try. Will products be removed when sold out or do they get placed on a back order?

Going to be removing products as stock runs out.

Why would you advertise your website on the same day you bring it down for maintenance? Wouldn't it be better to get it all spiffy and shiney, and then advertise?

That was terrible timing and coordination on my part. I got it all shiny now. Sorry for that brain fart.

I would definitely refrain from logging in if you do not see the green verification from Tibanne.

Could somehow be on a phishing website. Which would imply your router or computer DNS server has been compromised.

Clear all cache/cookies and restart browser. Then return to the website and verify there is the green seal of approval. You should not need to bypass security on the site as the SSL certificate is valid.

Re: Few questions about LiteCoins
by
Bitmunitions
on 25/04/2013, 02:23:16 UTC
Well i'm into mining litecoins now and i'm a bit curious about a few things..

1) BTC-E - Legit? I'm having my litecoins dumped to there, and will be selling/buying on there.
2) Anyway to transfer from BTC-E to bank or paypal? I clicked Withdraw and i see paypal min 100$ and it asks for a purse id? The Hell is that?
3) Any other websites good for buying/selling LTC?

THANKS

You could always exchange a large number of LTC to BTC at a decent price and send to a wallet or MTGOX for withdrawal. I have not heard much success of people funding BTC-E with USD or withdrawing effectively.

3) there are rumors MTGOX will get into the LTC business first quarter 2014.

Re: Is it still profitable to build a mining/gaming rig at this time?
by
Bitmunitions
on 25/04/2013, 02:20:37 UTC
I just started mining bitcoin last week. With my current computer, I am only get about 130mhash.

I am thinking of customizing a mining rig with the best video card on the market. My budget is around $2000.

Please don't tell me to buy ASIC from BLY or Avalon, BLY is not even delivering, Avalon is not even selling now.

My logic of making a gaming machine is that, in the event that it is no longer profitable, at least I still own the machine and can play games with it. If I buy bitcoin now and the price drop, I am going to lose everything.

Can someone please guide me or recommend me?

For example:

Best motherboard:

Best RAM:

Best graphic card:

etc…

I really appreciate your input trying to help a newbie like me.

A friend of mine has a great guide over at BitcoinSBS.wordpress.com that I would highly recommend checking out. He even has a book located on Amazon.

Cut your losses and run. There's nothing you can do.

send a msg to all her friends and family with paypal transaction screenshots
That's more likely to get you thrown in jail than anything. Besides, you can't prove that she was the one who made the transaction.

I highly doubt something of that extent could get anyone thrown in jail as the screenshots make it effectively factual and not slander. However, it seems like it is not the woman's fault as much as it is Paypal's.

Be wary accepting any deals with Bitcoin + Paypal. Bitcoin is designed to be non-retractable and Paypal is designed to allow people to dispute payments up to 45 days after transaction.

OP: You might just have to accept this unfortunate event as a loss.

Re: Butterflylabs Huge SCAM
by

Personally I believe Butterflylabs.com will deliver its first few rounds of rigs without any issue at all other than the fact that they greatly underestimated the work involved with manufacturing such chips. It is a bit unsettling that they did 100% cost pre-orders without any real promotion other than an earlier shipment than those that waited.

With that said, I still invested $2500 with the company and will not be requesting a refund unless we get well into 2014 without any real developments. As far as I can tell, they have been refunding customers that request it rather effectively.

Re: New guy saying hi
by
Bitmunitions
on 25/04/2013, 01:34:43 UTC
Would like to introduce myself to the forums.

I have been introduced to bitcoin a few years back, now I see it has grown to be very respectable trading currency from what I gather. Mining seems a little difficult to understand at first but I find it extremely interesting. It seems like with the new rigs mining is basically pointless for the average Joe? Isn't what is happening in this situation is exactly the opposite of what bitcoin is about?

Seems like "day trading" can be very profitable. The swings allow for quick trades, although I am probably doing it wrong. Quick question about this, I have signed up with Mtgox and would like to know how the auto buy/sell works. If I post a auto sell at $130 will it sell that to someone if the price is above it or will it wait till the spot price is $130?

What is with these other currencies? Does anyone recommend I take a look at any? Is there a "Next bitcoin" currency making its way up?

I'm not the best writer so please excuse the mess. Thanks in advance to anyone who gives a little in-site with any questions.

Hello.

As far as your question on mining goes, it is still profitable for the "average Joe." Especially with the price increases in Bitcoin, that is even more true now. Of course it does take a bit of an investment as the best cards to use can run around $200-300 USD. Several companies are even starting to sell (and ship) ASIC machines. These are Application specific integrated chips that are designed for SHA256, which is what Bitcoin uses for decrypting the blockchain. These machines are rather cheap for the amount of power they offer. Some people believe Butterflylabs.com is a scam website, but I personally disagree. I suggest you do your research and make your own decision.

Now on to day-trading. You are correct in that the price swings allow for a LOT of potential profit if executed properly. However, to see a lot of profit, you must invest a good bit and with that comes a lot of risk. The greater the risk, the greater the potential return. Today alone the price in bitcoin saw a sharp spike from about $145 to $165 then back down to $150 and back up to $155. If you do the math and time it correctly, you could have easily made $500 USD today alone.

If you have any more questions that I failed to fully answer, you are more than welcome to PM me or continue posting on this thread.

Good luck!
