Is a secret reserve price allowed, and can I end the auction early if a private deal is made that meets a price I'm willing to sell for?

[Auction] BitsPoker.com for sale to highest bidder
by

on 13/01/2014, 20:43:23 UTC
We failed to properly launch the site and now have depleted funds and the team is very weak. There is no reason to continue forward in this direction as failures, so we think it's best to sell off the entire website.

- Expenses are low
- 3500+ Registered users
- Outstanding balances not huge
- We can explain thoroughly how to run the website and give the new owner a sound strategy to grow it. We were not able to do this due to having a weak and uncommitted team.

Skype Contact: michael.bitspoker

There will be no hidden details. We want the new owner to be successful.

0% Rake
by
BitsPoker
on 25/12/2013, 11:00:51 UTC
Something special for BitsPoker ring table grinders, and a few changes and updates:

1) 0% Rake on All Ring Tables!
0% Rake on all our "Ring" game tables. We have .15/.30 all the way up to 100/200! That's right, absolutely 0% rake will be taken from each pot. This will be until the foreseeable future.

2) Sunday GTD:
The Sunday GTD will no longer go down. Although we know there some big fans of it, we do not see it molding in with the bigger picture we have at this point.

3) Freerolls:
Regularly running freerolls will end at the end of 2013. This doesn't mean we won't have the occasional freeroll (maybe a Grindabit freeroll here or there, such as the 1000 Chip Freerolls we have had a couple of times before.)

4) SSL coming soon:
We'll install SSL on our servers very soon. This will require brief (15 minutes) downtime.

See you at the tables,

Merry Christmas!

We have a new Freeroll structure. There are now three different types of freerolls: NLHE, PLO and PLO8. We also added longer levels, which means there will be 10 minutes per level, this way no-shows will have more time to show up. Also be aware that freerolls run at :30 after the hour now.

We had plans for a forum in the future, but thanks to grindabit for making that possible much sooner than expected.

That's awesome. We're really glad to hear you're enjoying the site. We hope you'll make it to the Sunday GTD tomorrow!

What browser do I need to play on bits? Not working with Firefox. Thx.

I use Firefox (actually, Waterfox, which is a 64-bit version of Firefox). Can you describe what isn't working for you? Thanks.

We have a 1000 Chip Freeroll to celebrate the launching of Grindabit 2.0! It will run in less than 2 hours, hope you all can make it!

The password can be found on Grindabit.com after their official launch of GaB 2.0 tonight.

Sorry for the short notice! We plan to have another one tomorrow, in case you missed this one.

I have been with this site for about 3 months now and I must say the site itself is great when it has players online to play with. Hopefully it becomes popular.

Thanks for the positive review.  Smiley

Re: How long would it take for Anarchy to start working?
by

I thought about this question when it comes to Anarchy.

How long would it take for majority to adapt to anarchy, that is start to follow rational non-aggresive principles. And majority of the destructive forces to be forced out of market by consumer choise?

That is if we were to start now?

According to Merriam-Webster Online, anarchy is "a situation of confusion and wild behavior in which the people in a country, group, organization, etc., are not controlled by rules or laws"

By that definition, I feel like it would be impossible to call a working thing "anarchy."

when money becomes managed by the people not the government, who will build streetlights, roads? who will maintain infrastructure and military? who will save our lives from giving us obamacare?

are you a communist or what?

I thought the government was the people.  Huh
