https://coinhub.news has just published an article regarding Helium and our plans for the future:

https://coinhub.news/cs/article/helium-decentralized-currency-and-service-platform-for-enterprise-business

On behalf of the Helium community I'd like to thank the Kreds project for making this possible. They've been following Helium closely and were kind enough to give us this exposure.

Excellent article looking good Helium!

KREDS, good work but........................are you gonna be alive in 2019? Sad

We keep pushing updates, new sites, new services lets see if there are any investors out there who like projects that just deliver and not just make promises.

At this junction Kreds has a great foundation and we have a good dev fund for people looking for solid project they could join and developers that want to flex their blockchain coding skills on jump on in.

Our team can set you up with a portion of the developer coins we have and get things back on track. Change algos, change whatever as long as we have enough to pay the registration rewards on krediblepolitics.com and coinhub.news thats all thats needed.

Hello, I am part of the Kreds coin team and co-founder of media sites, just wanted to give all teams and coin communities the opportunity to spread word of your respective projects.

We have opened https://coinhub.news ad space and featured articles option for the public. Our site has already surpassed half a million views (and growing) since launching 7 weeks ago and many projects are getting huge views from the great work happening in our industry.

You can also earn and spend Kreds on site so its a bonus utility!

Our prices are lower than nearly everyone else in the space because we believe that all teams wealthy and less so deserve to be covered. So lets get your work public and pushed to the top!

Well, seems like we need to comment here because you dont have the stomach to answer us on youtube.. You just delete our comments...

I would REALLY love to hear how our "scam" would work? How we could steal our communitys coins even if we wanted? Our staking is DECENTRALIZED, staking is done from your OWN wallet, nothing is sent to our staking platform... Im totally open to critisism, like the one you gave on FB, totally right and deserved.... Rest is just FUD, wrong info and badly done research.

"I’ve been asked about this project a lot, here’s my take on it."...
Is that how you treat you community? When they ask you do dig on something, best you can do is like comparing stock images on webpages? Come on, doesn't your 68k followers deserve real facts, real info, not just FUD you throw out of your head?... i KNOW you asked info about us from atleast 2 different people before doing this stream, you used like nothing they gave you 😄

Some facts that YOU KNEW but didnt point out, does it get more views when you basically lie (not use the info you have) to your followers?:

1. Our staking is done Decentralized, nothing like BCC or other scams that required you to send coins to them, our staking is done from your OWN wallet.
2. All interest comes from mining, blocksize is 13.5, 3.24 goes to staking pools, 10,26 goes to miners
3. Our trading volume is down because bitfinex, tradesatoshi and hitbtc wallets have been closed for +2 months. We asked them to close them when we got double spend attacked, we forked on Sept 7th and they are all supporting our fork and opening the wallets... Exchanges just are slow like always. stocks.exchange we got 2 days ago because we wanted to give some place to trade to our community. Yea its small and most likely wont get like any volume but atleast we tried.

If anyone wants any REAL info or have questions they want answers, join our discord or telegram and you will get them. We are 100% transparent, everything we tell is super easy to confirm
https://t.me/bitcoininterest
https://forum.bitcoininterest.io/

Our team would be interested in publishing an article on BCI, something original either you or the community would like the world to know about BCI, fork to ProgPow and a pic you would like to include with it.

Submit one at https://coinhub.news then email us if you like and we can get your project news out. You will find the option to submit in the menu.

There are a lot of parameters and unknowns in this plan. The thing is that the competition is huge and every idea has to go that extra mile to get investors and after that, users...So, the less unknowns, the better the project! Good luck, team!

hi guys, just a quick question
how much did you pay for your asus b250 mining expert motherboard ?
Right now they are selling for 400$ on amazon, is that fair ?

 Not even close.

$150 appx is the MSRP, and I paid a hair under that for mine back before the current shortages hit.

These are going to become a collector's item if ASUS doesn't keep producing them, our team grabbed 10 right before the giant price jump thankfully.

Re: Mining farms in the US how is demand calculated with electrical rate?

75*3.4  plus (75 * 0.4644 * 24 * 30)

Your demand charge is easy as you have constant demand.  Demmand charges are really for traditional businesses which need more whatts during certain hours.  Your 24/7 and can just multiply and get them.

This is largely correct.  In practice your demand needs to be scaled up to account for losses after the meter in conductors and transformers.  This will add 5-10%.  Plus your actual usage will increase with temperature so expect an additional 5-10% for your peak loading versus the average.

You also will need to budget for your cooling load.  75 kW of miners cannot be passively cooled, so you will have to account for the fans and A/C required to keep the space in temperature control.

Free advice.  Take 1/2 of what you think you will invest and just put it in bitcoins.  Use the other half for your buildout. When you have things under control at half capacity and understand the profitability and risks you can make a decision about building out to full capacity.

Thank you both for the advice, very appreciated. Our team is at 36 KW now so we understand the cooling aspect, however I wanted to ensure the demand charge was a one time per month peak only charge and this info wasn't readily available in plain English on the utility website.

Mining farms in the US how is demand calculated with electrical rate?
by
Bjorn_Blockchain
on 30/12/2017, 06:01:16 UTC
I'm trying to calculate what our bill would be assuming these factors:

Power draw would be 75,000 watts constant.
Rate is $ 0.04644 per kwh
Demand Charge, per kw $ 3.40

Demand charge kicks in after exceeding 7,500 KW month.

I calculated our farm would be using roughly 54,000 KW a month.

Can anyone who has intimate experience in calculating Kwh and demand able to figure out the monthly bill including demand charge on the figures I've posted please. Help would be really appreciated.

bilbotel.fr  pool not work, 3 hr 40 gx 0 coin

Similar issue with Hashpool (it may not be the pools fault) but several blocks found zero payouts. Coin blockchain issue?

Did you try reading the specs

No, i misread the amount of time per block and didn't check the console and block height until after I posted. Thanks though for reminding me to be more diligent in your own special way.

The current cost to list a coin purchasing Dots is over 65k usd. Do you have any plans to lower that or does your team feel a listing is worth 65 thousand dollars? If so i know what our next business will be haha.

Going to be some big difficulty fluctuations. Will be interesting to see if prices follow or not.
Could be a great time to fill a few bags.

Yeah, I always suspected that nicehash was huge, but not this huge. Even the slower coins have started to significantly drop their difficulties. My profits as a solominer are way up!

Kind of crazy how much of an effect such an amateurish service that rips plug and play miners heavily off has.

At these times it really shows how much they take away from "real" miners. By real, I mean miners who put in the time to research coins and decide what to mine in contrast to normal nicehash users who usually have absolutely no idea what they mined as they just get paid in BTC...

Also, how could they had 4736 Bitocins in hot wallets?! Ridiculous. Almost suspect of being an inside "hack" (e.g. stealing of funds) but I'm not about to start rumors.

As an old timer I tend to agree, but we are few and far between now.

Re: Antminer D3 Blissz firmware (02/11 v1.1 update)
by
Bjorn_Blockchain
on 06/12/2017, 19:00:44 UTC
My visible hashrate on D3 screen is much better with fewer hw errors using this firmware. However, my shares/poolside hashrate is better with stock firmware. I've  ran 48 hour tests on the same pool using the same workers.

The only variable is the firmware, I wonder why this is so, because it seems very promising but for us not worth a 20% drop in shares.

This was tested using Blizz firmware previous version I have not had time to test this very latest. Anyone have insight on what could cause this?

I have experienced a reduction with some pools (mainly Yiimp clones) 5%.  Switching seems to adversely lower their PPS calculations, but not 20%

No idea on the power usage, but I have kept this F\W as my D3's are running a lot cooler, no H\W errors ans no failed chains!!

Despite latest bitmain f\w, I was experiencing failed chains (all) 0 hash and fans on full!!  I was running 487freq (batch 1)

Current settings;
Freq: 450, ASIC: Lowest, Fans: Auto

Stats:
M/H: 16.8ghz
H\W: Zero despite running for days
Temp (PCB): 59
Temp (Chip): 70
Fan: 3,690 (auto)

I can get the hash higher without H\W errors, but like how cool and stable the unit is running.  28 degrees ambient temps!!!

Perhaps as more users run the F\W, fees could reduce, but 1.5% seems reasonable for an excellent enhancement.

If you don't want the DEV fees, you can download the antminer toolkit from bitmain, to set the lower CHIP voltages, ect , but greater risk of getting it wrong and miss the key features, auto reboot on low hash, updated cgminer, better fan control, ability to set each board individually.  Toolset can be a bit hard to get working with the D3's.

Our team tested it on mpos pools only, I cannot stand yiimp as well, very few are setup to correctly handle an asic rig. I will retry using the newest fw version in hopes our 48 hour test was a fluke. I want this to work, the hw errors and heat reduction  is worth it. I just cannot have a large share reduction.
