Re: Mining + GPU setup

Most motherboards have an onboard video, unless you are gaming you should just use the onboard video card to browse/surf the web. You need to go to your BIOS and enable onboard video in your BIOS because when the motherboard detects a GPU, it automatically disables it.

Which motherboard do you have exactly?

If you don't have onboard video, then you can browse with one of the mining GPUs but you should disable them when you are browsing because you will run into crashes due to instability. Even surfing the web can cause the mining GPUs to easily crash. If using Claymore just hit "0" or "1" and it will disable the GPU.

I have the MSI B450. I have both connected, but my PCI-E cable was defective so I should get another one tomorrow. I am mining only RVN currently but might change to ETH with the 2070Super, but unlikely. Rather just keep it nice and easy. I will be setting this up once that cable come in.

Totally possible to use both cards

You can connect both directly to your motherboard, or even better, you can buy a riser cable

On my personal desktop I have a 5700xt directly connected to the motherboard and a  GTX 1660 connected with riser and I put on the side of my pc
I use both to mine and if I need to use some program that demands more power, I just close the miner of 5700xt and let 1660 mining alone

I suggest you buy another motherboard for that super 2070 GPU, if you try using the card and mining with the 1070ti on a single motherboard it will affect the 1070ti you are using to mine by marginally, can cut off hashrate by 50% or even make your PC shut down

There's no need to buy a new motherboard (with a new one you'll need a new CPU, ram, ssd, PSU etc), it's a waste of money and electricity
You can run 2 miners, one for each card and won't affect any other card for mining
If you are mining and your PC is lagging, please post here all info and we can help you

I use here: Ryzen 1700 - Mining XMR
5700xt - mining ETH
1660 - Mining RVN
HDD 1 TB - Mining MASS

I can use the PC all day without any error, I just decrease the intensity of CPU miner when using

I'm currently waiting on a non-defect PCI-E cable since the one I ordered wouldn't fit into the power supply. I am going to try to set this up tomorrow before I leave for the week. I think I should be able to run both from what I've read here, just have to make sure I only use one for mining, unless I want to get a little freaky and get both at the same time.

I'll keep updating here.

I'm currently mining off a 1070 ti, but have a 2070 super on the way.

Is there a way I can run my monitors/computer off the 2070 super and continue mining on the 1070 ti?
Motherboard has two gpu inputs, but when it comes to actually running them together I cannot find a straight answer.

Any advice appreciated.

My favorite coin for 2018 will be KCS (KuCoin). It's an exchange coin itself that pays out dividends daily to users that hold the coin. Depending on how much you hold, I started making $0.75 a day now I'm pushing close to $4 a day by just holding.

It's not a massive amount, but more volume means higher payouts. I'm making an extra $1,500/year currently by just holding a coin. Cannot help but enjoy that.

Check it out yourself!

Re: Asian Whales?
by

So I’ve been doing a bit of research in telegram groups, and it looks like Asian Whales is the one to go for.

The only issue is there is 2 of them:

https://t.me/asianwhales 0.13BTC Membership
https://t.me/asianwhalesclub 0.06BTC Membership

Does anyone know which one is the real one and which is the scam?

I know the owner of Asian Whales who charges 0.13BTC for admission. This is the original one to where the other is a copy. He has a lot of good calls and doesn't promote pump and dumps.

When it comes to signal groups, I would say he's one of the best around. Very knowledgeable about accumulation zones and quite easy to turn a profit.

If you check today and yesterday posts regards the crash in crypto market you can find many panic members that sold or wanted to sell their entire poftfolio in lose.

Almost every oldschool crypto forum member advised not to do so, not only that the biggest advise was to buy now when prices are low.

So let it be a lesson to learn.

Half of my portfilion is back to Green mode, and tommorrow we might even see major corrections and probably new records on weekend.

Panic selling is what makes most people the best profits lol.

Both mycryptoportfolio and https://altpocket.io are very nice.

Thank you, I'm currently trying out altpocket, I quite like it for the first few minutes. I wish it could show you buying with Bitcoin and add/remove Bitcoin from your investments. I do enjoy the fact when I mark a sell of a certain amount that it does take it from part of the coins I have in current investments.

Thanks for using altpocket, you can change Between USD / BTC ( you chose this in the menu to the right ) and in our new update, we will also let you choose a lot more currencies.

//Altpocket Staff

Highly recommend altpocket for anyone!

Thanks, keep in mind that altpocket is just a couple of weeks old so if there is anything we can improve or if you find any bugs feel free to join our discord chat: https://discord.gg/cjjVC5g

This chat is extremely helpful and informative. Something else I would recommend to anyone learning!

It's extremely insightful.

Re: Loss almost 40%, should stop trading or not ?

I think you better stop trading for now. You haven't grasped the situation about trading. It's better for u to just buy btc or other altcoin and hold it, meanwhile you learn more about trading. Learn to read candlestick and many things. I start from very small amount but until this day i never just 1 loss in my trading. You need to study the coin even further too. Every coin have a characteristic when u found it, you will be able to guess it's movement. Hope it helps.

Take a break, don't completely stop trading. If you don't want to trade anymore for fear of losing money. Just do a long term hodl and earn it that way.

The price of SONM is nowhere near the ICO price

Wtf are you talking about?...

You looking at a different ICO or were you PreICO?...

Current price : 478K Sat

ICO price : 495K Sat (by my numbers)

I think they are pretty damn close.

Buy in Liqui, sell in Bittrex. My plan is for that. I hope bounty payments won't give SONM big dumps.
There were a lot of hype in ICO process, I wish whales will take care of exchange side too.
The price of SONM is nowhere near the ICO price,so i expect the price to rise at a later time and in the mean time i do consider it as a good investment for a very short time and once the bounty is given out ,which i am not sure when that will be,i do expect a small sell off ,other than that i think it is a good coin to hold for some time. When can we expect SONM in bittrex.

Listing on Bittrex will push the price to next level easily get 3x it's still around ICO price. Big whales are eating more from weak hands so later they will sell them again after release of new version. I also bought more as much as I can afford to hodl.
yes bittrex is good choice and its also a paid exchange so sonm token could be list there soon
and when sonm is totally out from the weak hands then its price will rise
for now its stable at the ICO price
i think sonm is already doing great by stable at the ICO price

SNM is doing great right at ICO price. I just hope it hits Bittrex before Polo if not Polo at all. Their system has been a bit wack for a lot of users lately.

I expect SNM to surpass GNT quickly in price and in ROI from ICO price.

Re: Which Super Cheap Coin is best to invest in?
by
Blackout1321
on 23/06/2017, 15:51:40 UTC
Out of the following, which one has the most potential to increase in value and popularity:

BUN - BunnyCoin

CAGE - CageCoin

GCN - GCoin

HTML5 - HTMLCoin

NYC - NewYorkCoin

PAC - PacCoin

Also, if anyone has an informed view on any other super cheap Coins that look to do very well, please by all means suggest😊

Another two I'd recommend that have potential of just blowing up are XVG (Verge) @ 150 Sat & ESP (Espers) @ 40 Sat.

Oh I have iffy thoughts on PnDs, mainly because I've made money on some and I've also lost on some.

I'm very curious to see what happens between a larger group with 10k members and one that has a few hundred.

It's still a rush to try and get in on one and make the money!

Re: Where is My Ethereum that I Sent Using My Ether Wallet?
by
Blackout1321
on 22/06/2017, 23:42:59 UTC
3 Days ago I swapped some of my bitcoins to Ethereum using MEW's Swap Button. That was my first time using it. I did so because I wanted to join Status.im's ICO happening that day.

1st Step: Order Initiated (check!)

2nd Step: Waiting for your BTC... (check!)

3rd Step: BTC Received! (check!)

Then for 2 days I got stuck there... So in other words I wasn't able to participate in Status ICO...

I did many refreshing of my browser..

Until it went through! I'm happy!

4th Step: SENDING YOUR ETH Waiting for 1 Confirmation... (check!)

5th Step: Order Complete! (check!)

Then there's a green announcement bar below of MEW that says..

"Your TX was broadcast to the network. It still needs to be mined & confirmed. (1) Click the link. (2) Refresh until you can see your TX details. (3) Check that there are no red ( ! ) errors. (4) If no transaction details show after 3 HOURS & please try sending again. TX ID: 0x27e441d869fdbfdf71ebb6e7761f9fcb10a348a24d5c4b50665f87a8acee2ad8
View your transaction"

I did all the instructions that the green announcement said but until now I still don't know where my Ether is...

When I go to Etherscan to check the transaction it only says:

"Sorry, we are Unable to locate the Transaction entry."

I emailed them like 3 times regarding my concern but no reply until now...

This is the details of my TX:

To: support@bity.com, support@myetherwallet.com
Subject: BITYMSXQKO - Issue regarding my Swap via MEW
Message:
REF ID#: BITYMSXQKO
Amount to send: 0.01000000 BTC
Amount to receive: 0.07106916 ETH
Payment Address: 1DPjrtvFuzBSupoSHiZFVoj4GBGeMpQDpq
Rate: 0.116808 ETH/BTC

Did I lost my Ether?

What should I do to get it back?

The instruction says "If no transaction details show after 3 HOURS & please try sending again."? How do I do this? I already sent what I should send...

This is my very first transaction using Ethereum and I really thought that Bitcoin was slow... and Ethereum is the faster guy... But no... I'm really disappointed with Ethereum and MyEtherWallet...

Please help me guys... What should I do?

It looks like it went through and you should be fine. Status' ICO f'ed everything up when it came to the ETH network.

If you don't see the transaction completed on Etherscan.io or see your tokens on Ethplorer.io, then you'll probably get your ETH back, but it might take a while since everything ETH related is behind right now.

PnD Thoughts? Some gain, some lose
by
Blackout1321
on 22/06/2017, 23:20:30 UTC
Two pump and dumps I've seen that have potential and I want people's thoughts.

ttps://t.me/PumpNotifier - 10k + members and growing every minute. Back by 300+ BTC but I watched one happen today and it was out within the first two minutes.

https://t.me/pumpstars - New PnD, backed by a substantial amount of BTC and in the early process where you only have to compete with under 200 members. Possible more profit available?!

https://t.me/PumpKings - Even Newer PnD, but growing larger every minute. I'm starting to think I'm missing out on something. XD

What would you do and which would you join if you wanted to join one?

If this is not allowed (Which I read every rule and searched key words so I believe it's okay) feel free to remove.

Paper Wallet Returns?

on 18/06/2017, 23:29:57 UTC
So I'm not sure it's been posted before, I've looked but I couldn't find it.

I was using MyEtherWallet.

My question is that I sent ETH to an ICO right before it was closed, but it wasn't received in time so I was informed, "The latter transaction was after the end of the ICO. The funds were not withdrawn.".

Can someone help me on how to get the ETH back?
