A massive lesson is if you haven't got it to spare, don't risk it. Simple as.

As people have mentioned there's been numerous shake ups with BTC so I reckon it'll fall a fair bit more yet as the spike was so rapid. Perhaps invest then.
BTC will still bounce back strong and keep rising

I don't really. Thankfully i've not invested too much so everything just feels like a bonus. If it's gone, its a shame but it won't cripple me.
I also have a lot of faith in things bouncing back and understand the volatility of the market place

DeepOnion has just been released on the exchange and is set to do exceptionally well. Trezar is also one to look out for. Neo is a definite and I'd say NXS to but it'll need a while to recover. (Then again, which alt doesn't at the moment!?)

As the rest of the guys have said though it's about really understanding the coin your investing in and also analysing the market. There's never 100% certainty though.

I'd say get your coins out now. You never know what could happen and it'd be awful to lose any. Check out some of the other exchanges out there - although be wary of Bittrex as they're requiring more and more verification.

I don't know if bubble is the right word but BTC will remain the strongest for a long time yet I reckon. However, does this mean forever? Absolutely not. Crypto is still SO new, who knows what will happen in 10 years time.

In terms of right now, this past month though - I reckon we're in a bubble and the BTC crash will happen soon.
(At least I hope so for the sake of my poor alts!)

Yes. You can buy them easily on the exchange; they'll be extremely cheap now compared to next year!
Make sure you have 3 relevant posts on DeepOnion and 5 on Bitcointalk a week (not including the off topic) and you should be good to go! Oh and you'll also need to have the appropriate banner

As everyone is saying it'll always be impossible to predict. There's definitely a strong factor such as FUDs and general mainstream media hype around it that'll affect it. I mean I can't believe how high it's currently gone... The alts have been crushed because of it!

I reckon it could definitely help to lift the ban or at least push a deeper underground movement.
I believe more BTC volume and exchange movement will occur which is good but all in all, that's about all I could predict.

Yeah i'd definitely say to scoop up as many strong alt coins as possible. (Including promising new coins like Deep Onion which will be dirt cheap) It's time to get out of BTC for a while and make some good profits on alt coins
