I don't think it will die, but it's not going to get the amount of attention it has been getting.

LTC went up when BTC was having trouble. So when BTC solved it's problems LTC was thrown to the sidelines again.

As someone who writes Ethereum smart contracts, calling it hype is missing the point.

It's something to be cautious about.

Also interested to hear recommendations from everyone.
