NEM is most likely a MySQL database somewhere like OneCoin.

 Huh
It is using an H2 database that is located in the nem/nis/data folder.

super""""""

wtf, their github was last updated 4 years ago...

jelin1984 is talking about catapult, not NIS.

For those who haven't visited the NEM forum recently, there is a new NIS version with a few bug fixes:

How long does it take until the remote status is completely active? I activated it three hours ago and it is still in pending status 'activating'.

As i remember 360 blocks or 24  hours.

360 blocks which is approximately 6 hours.

What advantages have supernode owners? Except a lot of XEMs of course.

A more stable Network

I understand more nodes more stability and decentralization. But what about for example for me to run(own) supernode?

For a supernode owner the advantage is the XEM you get paid. Aside from that the only "advantage" is that you can be proud contributing to the network as much as possible.

Is 8,999,999,999 XEM the total max supply or they will create more xem in the future if they want to?

Basicly that is about the limit what javascript can handle (9007199254.740992 XEM would be the absolute maximum).
So there won't be an increase in XEM in the future.

What is NIS?

NIS = Nem Infrastructure Server

That is the software module that runs on a node and coummunicates with other nodes, analyzes blocks,...

Can not launch NEM Node after software upgrade to nis-0.6.93 on Windows 7. Launch runMon.bat and the window briefly appears and then disappears with "Error:Could not find or load main class org.nem.monitor.NemMonitor". Version nis-ncc-0.6.87 worked just fine. What am I doing wrong?

NCC and Monitor are not distributed with 0.6.93 any more.
Use runNis.bat to start NIS.

Could someone explain me what sum of XEM should be profitable for harvesting?

What is profitable for you?

To get XEM from harvesting every week...

If you harvest with 1.000.000 Million perhaps you get 2-3 blocks per week.

I don't think you can call harvesting profitable, there are still too few transactions to give harvesting that attribute.
Supernodes on the other hand are profitable for sure but you need a lot of xem to join the program.

Ok I manual merged nis-0.6.93.tgz into what I have in the package folder  (nis-ncc-0.6.91.tgz) by overwriting files and deleting
old verson java  .jar
and it works (so I have nis 0.6.93 and ncc 0.6.91 and mon  0.6.91 )

I strongly recomment you to always provide the full package since manual merging will be a very troublesome act for most users and you can never be sure that you did it right (overwriting the right files deleting the right ones)

It synchronized now.

NCC is deprecated. It will not be distributed in any subsequent release. Use Nano Wallet instead.

I'm looking for the original stakeholder list. The link seems to be dead now:

https://chain.nem.ninja/stakes/

Is there another link to see this, or maybe someone has made a copy of the list. Need it to proof that I am one of the stakeholders.

Thanks for help!

there is

https://nemnodes.org/richlist/

but not the same but some member stakes on there

Thanks for reply. "1.0 - User Stake" means original stake holder? I think all of the stakeholders with the original amount of NEM may be seen in the genesis block? Did not search there til now.

You can download the current standalone and then open the file nem-infrastructure-server-0.6.93-BETA.jar with a zip tool.
There is the subfolder nemesisData with all data you want in it.

Will we need to upgrade our wallets on August 20?

Just got this message from poloniex. Anyone knows whats happening ?

XEM is currently under maintenance or experiencing wallet/network issues. Deposits and withdrawals will remain disabled until a solution is found, which may require an update from the XEM team. Any updates must be tested and audited before enabling.

I guess they are upgrading NIS to be ready for the fee fork on August 20th.

There should be a new Nano Wallet out soon that reflects the new fee structure.

Any legends about?

If so send me 2 XEM please so I can send you 1 back to get my public key announced so I can move my XEM from bittrex.

NBJN2Z-IR2SIT-KG5QWV-MA67D4-XI5TZU-P6PMOX-YWOC

You don't need an outgoing transaction prior to transfering xem from bittrex to your account.
