Re: The lack of financial education

I think financial education is very important,
not only for investing their money but also money management.
This is some skills not many people have,
I have notice kids just don't know how to handle money in general.

Re: Does anyone know of a buying bot for accumulating?
by
BluePoppy
on 11/06/2017, 19:38:17 UTC
A bot that buys a certain coin when it goes below a certain price, for polo, bittrex, cryptopia
I think you might want to avoid that or code it yourself so you know it is safe. accumulating is not that hard and some sites let you use hidden orders.

Re: Due Diligence and Altcoins

I am wondering if there is any website that does due diligence with altcoins.  I know this site has bits of it here and there but it would be GREAT if there was a centralized hub of it.

Centralization is not good! Just keep your keys by yourself, trust me. You'll thank me later.

Re: Alt-coin cloud mining
by
BluePoppy
on 11/06/2017, 19:35:57 UTC
If you are looking for an investment with alt coin, It's risky as bitcoin cloud mining and why not just try to trade out with alt coins instead of cloud mining them? We know that most of them have the same fate in the end of scamming their investors. There will be a bubble with alt coins as bitcoin's price is pumping.
Alts is a bubble, but we dont know how high the bubble will go right?

Hopefully not too many bad things happen. Cloud mining is and always has been risky.

Re: YoBit withdrawal still pending?
by

on 11/06/2017, 19:35:07 UTC
Is it normal for a pending withdrawal to be a 0 confirmation after 3 days? Losing money because my withdrawal is still pending and no answer to my tickets. Contacted a moderator/admin in the chat and he told the technical team will get to it. What do I do now, wait it out or is there another way to contact them?
You can probably wait a bit then email them later... YoBit wouldn't ignore you forever def. because they're somewhat reputable.

Re: How long does it take for Poloniex to process withdrawals "Awaiting Approval"
by
BluePoppy
on 11/06/2017, 19:30:55 UTC
I made a Litecoin withdrawal to an online merchant. The merchant uses a timer- if the currency is not sent within the alotted time, the transaction is cancelled. Dumb of me, but I sent the coins directly from exchange to merchant. Unfortunately, the withdrawal did not go through automatically, probably because I'm on vacation so this took place from a new IP. I sent a support ticket to hopefully speed up the process. Asked a mod if it's possible to cancel a withdrawal awaiting approval, and it's not (coolio).

Poloniex promises that withdrawals will be manually approved within 24 hours, but I have far less than that time so I'm fairly anxious.

well it's possible that you are screwed, but hopefully the merchant still has your address.

You can refer here: https://www.icoalert.com/ and https://tokenmarket.net/ico-calendar

For upcoming coins to be listed on Bittrex, I don't have an idea but other exchanges have an announcement about newly listed coins and their date of arrival. Maybe same principle apply on Bittrex. Just have a look there.
ICO Alert has more ICOs... You can also go to cryptocoinnews.com and similar sites to check ICO news

My fellow Poloniex traders and users, I would be interested to know if you will still use the exchange after having your withdrawals still pending and all the frustrating days of waiting. Please participate in the poll.

Thank you.
Is this happenin to a lot of ppl? I think it may be only a few people so most are ok with it.

Bitcoin is a viable investment. I would hold most my money in bitcoin and hold a small % of my capital in altcoins that have potential such as ETH and XCR.

Re: How to increase BTC?
by
BluePoppy
on 31/05/2017, 23:45:47 UTC

investing on mining, make sure to select mining site that are on business 3 or more years already.. small income but harvest it years from now.

hoarding, just let your btc sleep in your wallet it will go up in time as btc rise up in value theres no stopping it.

I think if you want to increase your bitcoin in a safer way try to do some trading, all you need is capital and buy some cheap coins but before you buy it do some research so make sure that the atlcoin that you will buy is legit and not a scam. For me trading is a lot safer than gambling or investing on different HYIPs out there that are getting scam faster than before.

plenty of sources are there through which you can increase the number of your bitcoin and the best way of all these sources are trading . from trading a person can really get good profit. in trading we mostly depend on our experience and skill.
You can also try joining a signature campaign but the income from doing that is slow. trading is the more feasible option but it is also riskier as well

Re: How do I grow my btc?
by
BluePoppy
on 31/05/2017, 23:43:49 UTC
Hey guys I'm not sure if this is the right place so please tell me if it is not. With that out of the way, I have a question for you all. I have recently been able to gather about .5 btc through minor trading and I was wondering if there was any method or way to grow this btc into a larger amount safely and fairly quickly. Thanks!

If you want to grow your bitcoin leave all those at your wallet because any kind of "investment" has its own risk. But you can grow those earning those without using them. You can participate in some signature campaign here at bitcointalk and you can earn sure bitcoins. More your account will grow and more will be the bitcoin you will earn. Then you can earn plying gaming but without investing nothing. If you will invest you for sure will lose even your invested money. I'm playing a such game when no one ask for investment but you can win satoshi. For example I can win about 100 k satoshi every day (for the moment not this amount because i want to go ahead in game to earn more later) but this amount can be more. If you want I can send you with pm the reflink (to try if you want).
yes risk is an element that is present everywhere,  but still i will like to say that trading is one of the best way of making money, in fact those people who have good experience in trading and those people who do trading with strategy, so such people can really make good profit from trading.
Trading is definitely the best way to make real profits. The potential is limitless and it all depends on yourself. I know traders that live off of their income and also those who have given up to find day jobs. its hard and not for everyone but it is definitely possible with persistence and effort.

Re: Turn $10,000 into 1 Million
by
BluePoppy
on 31/05/2017, 23:42:18 UTC
You would have to be extremely lucky and buy an altcoin which shoots up multiple times its original value to turn 10,000 into 1mil. It might be possible to do it through trading but it will be challenging and will take some time, not to mention you have to be a good trader to do it
