Follow-up question: As I understand it, token holders can liquidate directly on the C20 platform for current NAV and C20 will then sell these tokens on exchanges to refill the fund. What are the guidelines for setting the price for these tokens on exchanges? Will it be market price or premium over NAV?

Mass looks officially dead in the water. Such a great idea to be missed out on. There amount of coins and to stake and masternode are through the roof.
Is it really? The Telegram chat is busy as usual, only the founders are keeping mum about the next steps for now. I really hope it's not dead tbh

Serious question if someone is following here.
The current ICO funds are held in BTC, ETH and LTC. Now, assuming the overall market trend is bearish until the end of the ICO would mean that the NAV will be substantially lower (let's say $0.7 than the $1.05 or 1.10 that ICO participants will have to pay for each token.
Would it be unreasonable to assume that, in this case, some ICO participants who assume a prolonged bear trend might want to cut their losses post-ICO and market sell for less than the ICO prices?
What do you guys think? Sensible to hedge your bets and do 50% now and 50% once it hits exchanges?

I was a big fan of the Mass.cloud [1] project, a proposed masternode and staking service, that was put on hold due to the SEC ruling in July. Since then, there has been little to no indication that the project will continue, so I have been looking for similar projects given that I think a similar project could very well have enormous potential and attract many who cannot afford a node themselves. Grateful for any suggestions and pointers.

I would suggest good reliable coins like Crave and Vivo. Dont waste your money on all kind of scam shitcoins.

Why do you think Crave is a project worth investing in? I found it somewhat weird having, admittedly only given it a cursory look.

The reward for participating in social bounty in my experience is not usually significant. Those that participate in social bounty are majorly token/coin collector. They collect just to have the said token may just may be it could worth something later.
Thanks, makes sense. The value you get out of participating in a bounty will then depend on the overall success of the project.

Yes, I think that excluding americans citizen would be the best things! when people partecipate to the ICO would have to declare that he is not a USA citizen (and of everything other countries that cause problems)... This will put the MASS Corporation outside of any problems.... and if someone lie during the ICO participation and declare that he's not a USA citizen but he is USA citizen, well it's a problem of that person and not of MASS Corporation, because to partecipate he has done a false declaration, and MASS corporation is outside of any problems.

It's not that simple, legally. The SEC wouldn't go after individual investors but the company. And the SEC believes the long arm of the law is global and borderless if there's any U.S. citizen nexus in any way, shape or form.
Anyway, for MASS to do a legal ICO to U.S. citizens they will have to follow the regulations for Title II (Regulation CF), Title III (Regulation A+) or the older Regulation D. Title II and Title III require using an online crowdfunding portal to fund raise, but the ICO would be available to anyone in the world. Regulation D is for accredited investors only (and you can no longer self-affirm as in the past, the issuer has to actively verify).
Regulation CF is relatively cheap and easy to do but is limited to raising $1 million a year. Regulation A+ has two possibilities, $30 million or $50 million per year, but is relatively expensive on the order of about $100K due to increased compliance requirements. It is effectively a mini-IPO. You can do a CF/A+ and D simultaneously and there's certainly no reason this part couldn't theoretically be limited to U.S. citizens only, while the rest of the world is caveat emptor as normal.
Fortunately, StartEngine.com (founded by an Activision co-founder) plans to enable ICO token offerings for funding campaigns in a few weeks. None of the other portals have that in the works AFAIK. So that is the only option at this point for MASS if they want to include non-accredited investors.

well , the fact that we all have our ethereum back , is proof that the team behind Mass is fully trustful , i absolute take part in the next time that the ico start, and i was happy with the refund
I agree with you, that is the fact that probes that the team is fully trustful. In my case I will take part too the next time. I'm accumulating some amount of ETHs to invest when the moment comes.
While I agree the refund has been a big plus in terms of trust, the subsequent communication by some team members here and on Telegram have put a serious dent in my willingness to participate in a possible new ICO. My view is, that no matter how repetitive or uninformed a question or comment, the team should never ever humiliate or denigrate the community in public. It's just really stupid PR.
Look into DAS. Super cheap to get a node up and running and is making me some decent coins already. Also a pretty strong community that is helping the coin. That would be your best bet IMO.

The masternodes is not yet implemented but it should be soon as the new long awaited revival of KORE releases. Dev's said it should be in the range of 200 to 500, I went for the later just to be sure

I've never understood why the price of Ethereum should substantially go up. It's a utility coin, and on top of that used in many ICOs, so until POS or other forms of staking are introduced I wouldn't bet on it going up much.
I'm also fairly new, but have seen these kind of posts so many times already. If you believe in the fundamentals of decentralizaiotn and blockchain, then we're only just in the beginning. How many people know, independently of you telling them, about Ethereum? right...
