Re: How to control your emotions while trading?👨🏼‍💻

Don’t be looking at the charts all the time;❌ - that is. When you know about yourself that you lose emotional balance when something goes wrong, it’s better to set your take profit and loss goals and close the chart.
That’s a very good advice. But traders are usually seen doing the opposite.

Re: Tools to improve your trading
by
Bob Smith

Tools are good as a reference of your trading decisions but don't be too dependent on tools because you might as well not learn anything in trading. Personally, I don't use those tools always because sometimes it frustrates me that something happened and I don't understand some parts of it. Also not all tools works for you so better make one for yourself. Besides, the longer you are expose to trading you got to learn more and create better strategies that you can use and that will also work for you.

That’s the major mistake traders make, they blindly follow other’s profitable strategy thinking that they would also get profits. They need to know that every market condition is not the same and they must create their own tools and trading methods to suit their own trading needs.

Just start with knowing the basics. Courses and material, you will find many of them, but be careful about choosing the ones that give you the right information. Don’t go for paid stuffs.

So many people don't know what it is? and what does it use? and what can it do? Questions they do not know the true answer to. For us to know what bitcoin is, for the knowledge of most of what Bitcoin can offer besides the financial crisis it will also help our country's economy as long as it is used properly. As other countries do when they accept or regulate bitcoin. It can outweigh the banks in the long run.

That’s true, use of crypto can help us in a great manner, but what is lacking is awareness.

Yes, investing in cryptos can be dangerous, but then which investment venue is free of that today. To have good returns, you have to be at risk. Just keep working on how you can minimise this risk.

Re: Where to start Crypto Trading?

one thing, learning to trade cannot be compared to learning guitar,
learning guitar needs to practice directly,
but trading, we need theory and practice, but we don't have to feel defeat, because we can analyze the movement of coins without having to trade, and after the results of our analysis are good and accurate, then we can start trading.

Well put there. learning is very important before starting with any new venture. This part must be taken seriously to avoid any neg circumstances later.

I’m constantly wondering if it’s too late to study at the age of 35? Maybe it's too late and I need to forget about this venture?

There is no age barrier to learning in fact you know how to manage the money wisely at this age. If you really have a passion to be a part of this field, then nothing can stop you. Wish you best!

Well for me, both play an important role. I have always noticed that whenever I take decision based on TA, my trading plans never turn out the way I want. So yes, studying the markets on the basis of both TA and FA is what I follow. Preference also depends on which type of position I want to hold. But for scalping, TA is all you need along with studying its history pattern.

Re: Differences between an investor and common man!
by

on 13/09/2019, 09:41:21 UTC
There is just a thin line between an investor and a common man. An investor knows and understands the basic principles of investing into any project and also understands the risks associated with any type of investment but for a common man, he knows about investment but do not really understand basic principles of investing and also know when to invest and when not to invest.

That is because the primary motive of investor is to put his money into something that helps him generate wealth and that is why he explores new venues and gains knowledge about them, whereas a common man is more inclined towards saving his money, not interested to know anything about how can he invest the same.

Re: Bad time to get into daytrading?
by
Bob Smith
on 12/09/2019, 06:10:10 UTC
There is no bad or good time to get in day trading, you have to know first if you have the skills to be consistent, so you will end up profitable.
Crypto market has a lot of coins trading, not only BTC and the volatility is still high, so if you have a working strategy, you don't need to wait for the bull market to trade. If you look at the trading volume here https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/ in general, there's a good volume on a daily basis, which means people are day trading ever since.

I agree, no single time is good or bad for everyone in day trading. Markets keep moving and one’s success depends on how one handles the situation.

Re: Why is Bitcoin market dominance rising fast?
by
Bob Smith
on 09/09/2019, 08:20:33 UTC
The real question here should be, why shouldn't bitcoin dominance be increasing when the so called altcoins don't have what it takes to give bitcoin a fight for it's dominance. 99% of the current Altcoins whether in IEO/ICO, already trading or in development stages doesn't have anything new to offer to the industry. They're just false hope gaining attention based on hype. Bitcoin is a working product with years of experience (10 to be precised). What then do you expect. The community is putting their trust and money in the right place that's why the dominance is increasing fast.

Agreed, that's really nicely put!

I believe that btc is not the best crypto we can get. I believe we can create something even better. Anyways, this post makes sense.

Yes, there is always a room for improvement, I agree with you on this. But as of now bitcoin is the best when compared to the other crytpos that we have.

An investor keeping aside his emotions, is mostly going to view things with a financial point of view, focused on how to make profits. Good investors basically are too planned, viewing everything with reference to their future value. With a common man, mostly emotion is where they are lacking due to lack of experience. If they ever get into investments, they enter with no prior management or analysis. But I feel that few common men who are good in research do excel with a careful sound behaviour .

Re: Is the day trading profitable ?
by
Bob Smith
on 22/08/2019, 07:16:40 UTC
Profit comes to those, who have knowledge. Trading is not profitable based on what time you trade for, but rather, how you trade. Similarly, day trading will also be profitable if you have a good trading plan and are done with the education and research part. Profit comes to those who have knowledge on analysis, on markets, on country. Education will never stops. If you have good trading plan with sound risk management, it won’t bite much.

Re: Savings Vs Investment?
by

on 16/08/2019, 07:47:50 UTC
For people who don’t have interest or good knowledge about investing, savings are any day better for them, cos having a bank account is all you need for it. But yes, if you are willing to take risk and you have sufficient knowledge about the know-how of investing, go ahead and invest as returns are more there, no doubt.
