No one paid for my vote. I think IawgoM has the necessary skills to produce a wonderful final design with no copyrighted materials involved.

Any more updates op on this project?

Project is now closed as there are not sufficient funds right now.
We require some donations to make 2.5 BTC

If you need funding, you need investors, not donators.

Sorry, I'm a no0b to the technical aspects of bitcoin,

But my question is; can we change the transaction fee to as least where the miners would take quick enough to confirm it without being worth a lot as a Fiat?
Say if the value of 1btc/$100000, I'm pretty sure the transaction fee of 0.0002 would be higher than my bank's.

I'm using an online wallet so that might be limiting me.

You can send transactions without any fees unless they are dust spam: very large in size, many small inputs. More fees = faster processing.

You don't need to reverse engineer the chips. You may reverse engineer the software, but you don't need it as well. You need to raise 1M USD at least to start with. It pays for an initial design, floor plan, logic schematic, electric simulation, layout verification and the cheapest multiwafer mask with a very small batch of packaged chips. You also need an engineer to lay out the PCB for your miner, prepare the BOM (Bill Of Materials), order these parts and hire someone for the PCB production and assembly service. You need a Linux programmer to get the software running. If it works out and you have a working miner, advertise it everywhere and raise more capital to run the production with an improved design and better mask set.

That is a major point of bitcoin. You are your own bank, you are the one controlling and safe-guarding the money.

I actually prefer bank to guard my money, at least I blame them for losing my money.

Well you are not alone then.
Some bitcoiners still now prefer to store their bitcoin on exchanges and let the site hold and protect the bitcoin, even after the hack and bankruptcy of mtgox.

That's hilarious actually. One of the most important advantages of cryptocurrencies is that you are your own bank.
