I will check your Freeze Problems, but seems very strange. The Market Dialog is created during Run-Time at C.A.T. starts and is create invisible. When you press the button the Dialog became visible. If you press the LOAD button, and then you close the dialog, it only became Invisible.

I Will check.... Wink

here are the step

Click Market > select checkbox With Statistic Calc > Click Get Market Data
CLick X to close current windows
Click on Market again, > nothing show up and now if u click any other button nothing happen

Not a big deal as long u dont select checkbox 'With Statistic Calc'

just a head up, the new version issue > freezing CAT

This is what i think

Click Market with Statistic Calc  > close windows  (probably fetching data in the background)

Click Market again, it freeze (Due to, there is an api call still runnig in the background)

At this point pretty much CAT not useable till the api call complete from getting Market data

But we wait for the a few minutes and the call completed, it will function normal again

Are you a second account of some Cryptsy Users? You're not in my C.A.T. user list  Huh

Ya

Try a 1TH instead. Because its more likely you'll be struck by lightning multiple times over hitting a block.
Well that's not really true.  His chances of hitting a block in a month of mining is about 1 in 14.  But those still aren't good enough odds for me to recommend solo mining.

This is my thoughs, I might be wrong, but this is my math

Lets say 12/24 months pool mining vs 12.24 months solo

Pool mining
12 months = 7 BTC,      7  * $375 = $2625(profit)
24 months = 10 BTC,    10 * $375 = $3750(profit)

Solo Mining
12 months = 25BTC  * $375 = $9375(profit)
24 months  = 25BTC  * $375 = $9375(profit)
36 months found a block still make profit (may be at this time btc price is sky rocket)

Got single 60GH about 2 mon ago, got my ROI back and plus about 2 btc profit, with in the last 2 months my single found 2 blocks. I am thinking of going solo, please advice

If I keep mining with the pool, ATM my average btc per month will be around 1.7 btc and of course it will be lower  with the dif increase, should I go solo Huh?

I am giving up on GPU mining, I have 6970x4 and used to get around .75 bitcoin a day, now only getting .25 and the power cost me around 5-6 bucks , damnit

Woohoo...My friend and I already placed an order for the single sc, its a risk but who know, the price might sky rocket, hopefully this thing will fly Ok before the difficulty x10

Re: Pool attraction by award block finder extra btc ?

...and everyone else wil get less.
This just adds variance, no benefit at all (especially to miners who don't have multiple gigahashes lying around).

It could be done however in a "Jackpot" kinda way - you can set e.g. 10% of your mining income to go to the Jackpot and then if you find a block, you get the jackpot.
This is however simple gambling and can be done without mining too, more frequently and with better/higher bets and more control over the variance etc.

setting 10% of your mining income into the jackpot, would that be the same as take a few coin out of the 50btc ?

Pool attraction by award block finder extra btc ?

I think the pool op (small to medium pool)should add this program to their pool, I think this definitely attract more miners. Instead pool op's out of pocket,  take out a few coins from the 50btc. even tho the earning will be few percent less but there is a chance of get extra btc for finding that block. its just a though

Is there a way that you can reset the BTC Income and share that was leased back to zero when the payment sent, that way we can track how much btc we have mined

Thanks

Are you using python OpenCL (poclbm) in guiminer? If so, this problem has been happening for everyone in the last few days. See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1334.msg732164#msg732164

Basically it shows that you are mining but the shares are not being submitted.
Anyway, the fix is coming up in Windows so just switch to Phoenix in guiminer or get cgminer for the time being. If you need direction for switching to phoenix, which is what I'm doing now, just ask.

Not really worth the 3 BTC to be honest but if you still want to send, I won't complain.

EDIT: BTW, I've also heard that using the older guiminer version works but have not tried this.

You lucky dog...$$$$$ 3btc, it took me 48 hour to earn that Wink

What setting are you using on phoenix.  Mine are running slow on phoenix.

I used this and it seems it bumped up 10 hash per gpu
