These guys are not broke. They still have loads of money.

They have just reported their year end, so it is still a functioning business.

Guys,

You are all right. The courts have already sided with you. No use in steaming over it. Take some action, get your money back. I've already been paid in full, PLUS court costs. So have many of my members. Make a phone call to LPC Law: http://fightalpha.net/index.php?topic=26.0

GUYS I have been burned by SMALL CLAIMS SOLICITORS and any recommendations from fightalpha, fightalpha is just a commercial for these companies, you can just tell by the advertising. A way for people to make money from people who have already lost money. Its a SCAM in itself.

I would contact a reputable law firm, if possible where they do some sort of no-win no-fee. Either way do not use fightalpha's ways, i followed their guides and lost lots of money in claim form and paying their advertised law firm. And also lost money in 3rd party debt... And I did not pay this money directly to court either, the law firm took the money and paid the court (and took their own fee).

I would advice not using commercial fightalpha and look at other smarter means.

And I do not know about the credibility of all these court cases that are so called being won and being paid because I have not seen a penny or any success.

Be weary of people when it comes to giving more money to get more money, it is just a scam in itself. LPC and Small Claims Solicitors btw does not guarantee you any success so you cannot even get any money back from  this law firm that is taking advantage of us already losing so much money  Huh Huh Huh Embarrassed

I am also wondering how much commission owner of fightalpha is getting from forwarding cases to these law firms. Cryptocurrencies was meant to save us from such fraudlent people from all angles, First Alpha, now this new website and forum messages.

Congratulations, so what did you do?

One minute you have been burned by the legal firm fightalpha recommend, the next you have all your money back.

I am sure a lot of people would like to know, how you changed a bad situation to a positive conclusion.

Any help would be great.

Greetings Miners!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us throughout this journey. We know there has been some speculation about us and our project and we are now glad to finally put that to rest, and show you proof of our fabricated and packaged Viper chips that are now in hand.

This is a major milestone and hurdle we have overcome in terms of risk, time and money. Now that we have working chips all we need to do is assemble these and ship; we are of course currently assembling the devices and shipping will follow once this is complete. All fully paid orders should be 'processing' and will change to 'completed' once the order has shipped. We will also be quickly releasing a video demonstrating our chips hashing as an update to the community.

Where many new ASIC companies have failed to tape-out and produce working chips we have succeeded. While we are regrettably late in our shipping schedule please note our hash rates are still 10 times originally promised and with our profit sharing scheme not to mention the batch 1 loyalty bonuses we believe we have done our best to make up for this. Generally speaking most if not all ASIC manufacturers have never delivered on time and with batch 1 soon behind we have every intention of taking what we have learned and overcoming this in our next generation product.

Best Regards,

Mohammed Akram

Director

Update 23/6/2015

SF100 dual-mode miner has 24 SF3301 chips, with the running modes as following:

  • Dual mining mode, Bitcoin hashing power 1700 GHS + Litecoin hashing power 47 MHS, the power consumption at wall of whole miner is 960W.
  • Bitcoin single mining mode: Hashing power 1700 GHS, power consumption 770W.
  • Litecoin single mining mode: Hashing power 47 MHS, power consumption 180W.

Well, it looks like Alpha-T isn't going to get a profitable unit out the door before the competition makes them irrelevant.  Good luck with the lawsuits everyone.

There is no price or expected delivery on the SF100 yet nor are you allowed to purchase single units... MOQ of 100 units so I dont think that announcement changes much haha

That's who you're competing against.  It will very much matter.

With 0.45W/GHS + 3.8W/MHS, the power efficiency of SF100 is showing really good potential. It is also possible to overclock to certain extent (Sha-256: 2 THS, Scrypt: 55 MHS). Based on recent Bitcoin and Litecoin price, a dual-mode SF100’s revenue is similat to that of a to a 2.8-3.2 THS pure Bitcoin miner, which makes it equivalent to 0.3-0.34W/GHS power efficiency when it is dual mining. Taking June 19th price for instance, one SF100 generates 4.2 USD from Bitcoin and 3.8 USD from Litecoin, or a total 8 USD per day (without the costs for electricity deducted).

http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/sfards-sf100/

Don't think it is going to get you a great income, at $8 per day less electricity costs.

His failure to acknowledge this either says A) he's totally unfamiliar with the market or B) he's a moron.

i have got a email from Alpha

Hello Marttijn,

We appreciate the situation and are working our hardest to deliver the
best product possible with the resources we have available. We plan to
email all customers as soon as we have the shipping date but we are
hesitant to estimate at one at this time. We are still in the final
stages and are currently tweaking the devices to try to get the most
efficiency out of them so if everything goes as planned than it
shouldn't be much longer. We are working not only to deliver the product
our customers have ordered but we also feel it necessary to do our best
to improve it. That's all we can say right now but expect a news update
very soon.

Regards,

Alpha Technology Team

So all is well, Alpha, never break a promise or let their customers down.

This Time Alpha Technology says soon, but how soon exactly and how many people are actually let that did not request to get a refund. Even if they do manage to ship any hardware anytime soon or at all we won’t be surprised to see the situation with KNC’s Titan miners repeating. Meanwhile there is already a dedicated website called Fight Alpha Technology Scam that is a forum dedicated to helping with useful information and advice people that want to get their money back from Alpha-T.

We just wanted to clarify that while we are pushing for shipping to occur mid-December please bare in mind we are relying on external parties at this point so if any unexpected delays arise during the final processes it would be outside of our control just so you don't think we were being misleading when we spoke of this date. Whilst we are doing our best to push for this date as fast as possible with them we have learned not to make any guarantees; it is just the date we anticipate.

Alpha are getting their excuses in early.

Don't be surprised if delivery is delayed, as their couriers bumped into a old man, with a big white beard, on a sleigh with reindeer

"We will also be quickly releasing a video demonstrating our chips hashing as an update to the community." - October 13

This was over a week ago. This is what I would call a pretty loose definition of the word "quickly." So when can we expect to see this?

Wonder if the answer will be SOON

Don't think, even getting caught molesting goats, could bring any more disrepute on Alpha, than they are able to achieve themselves.

One big deadline I see coming for them is the payment of their VAT.

Their financial year end is 31st August.

https://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/alpha-technology-(int)

They need to have their VAT return filed and normally paid too by 7th October.

http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/vat/managing/returns-accounts/deadlines.htm

If they don't have the money, they will likely shut down and then you will probably never stand a chance of getting your money back.

It may also be worth calling or mailing Manchester Trading Standards

http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/manchester/

Manchester Trading Standards Tel 08454 04 05 06 (9am to 5pm)

If they get loads of calls there is a good chance they will investigate.

I do think that you are being a bit harsh, look at all the money they have spent already.

Couple of bits of tin, for a case and a pack of crayons, to do some lovely pictures. These items don't come for free.

I wonder if their lovely offer of a %age back, has anything to do with this story

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-29250910

Their offer came not long after this.

Also some good names and organisations to contact here on this article.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

People keep saying they have produced asics already.

Here is an alternative,
1. Set up a website
2. Get loads of money
3. Contact Dexceldesigns and say, we have a great idea. Agree, we pay you in stages. Every target you meet, we pay.
4. Dexcel say we have done stage one, can we have some money
5. Alpha say no
6. Dexcel take them off the website
7. Months of crap
8. Give a little bit of money back
9. Mushbasher enjoys life as a multi millionaire
