by

on 27/05/2015, 13:10:41 UTC
Hi,

me and my friends are are nearing completion of an  ambitious cryptocoin and are looking for someone, who could help us to test DPOS blockchain. The reward can be escrowed and given after completion of work or we can agree on some kind of longer cooperation and share certain % of profit.

More details upon pm. Please link your past work/projects.

Looking forward to your reply,
Bohemian

This coin is 100% a deadcoin. The dev, after selling every single coin of the ICO, put pictures of him happy in a fucking badass hotel to make people rage, so it's clearly a deadcoin.
Then, why the hell are there every 2 weeks 2 btc worth of volume just to avoid a delist of the coin ?

What is the plan behind it in your opinion ?

Bagholders my friend. You got a few btc into a coin you don't want to see it die. Once off the exchanges the coin is dead dead dead.

Man, this makes no sense at all. Do not tell me that people who bought at 800 sat really care about their coins worth 5sat, this is not even called money, it's nothing.
So then, why the hell is this happening ?

It is the hope. psychological factor, it is all about it-

You have coin that costed 100USD/1  now it  costs 1USD/1coin. You do not want to get delisted  because you are keeping telling yourself- it will come back. But if you do this, you already lost.

"What is causing the slump is people are dollar cost averaging out, everyone is saying the transactions are up, that's because everyone is selling. Those are transactions."

For every seller there is a buyer, you might as well say that everyone is buying.

I think JoeVentura has a valid point regarding the fact that if the BTC price is falling, then more coins are being offered for sale than there are coins being bought - and that is why the price is falling.  On the other hand if there are more coins being bought than offered, then the price rises.

As you suggest, Arriemoller, in the end, that claim about dollar cost average selling may NOT be saying too much; however, I believe more importantly, is that JoeVentura got it wrong b/c dollar cost average selling would have been taking place as the price was rising... however, the price has been falling for nearly a year... so what we have NOW, or at least in the past 4 months or so, are continued attempts to force the price down by big cats and attempt to cause regular people to panic and to sell their coins.. and this dynamic is NOT about dollar cost average selling, like JoeVentura is so boldly and wrongly asserting.

force the price down by big cats and attempt to cause regular people to panic and to sell their coins..  << sorry not buying this.

Except it already happened when price hit 300. In a very short amount of time there were countless posts on reddit and forums about people who put their money savings of  5-10 000 USD when btc price was around 500-800 and to cite them :"must cash now I cannot fail my family by loosing more". The price then took a quick dip to 275 where it stopped.

Running such a farm in Thailand - to me it makes no sense. I have seen farms in Siberia - guy just opens a window, - 30 air going everywhere. I think that is atad of difference +30 or -30.

Propably money loundering, yeah. Nobody can actually prove how much bitcoin you have mined, since nobody in goverment fucking knows what is hashrate or even bitcoin to begin with. So yeah, you can legitimate any almost any profits with such a farm.

the truth is that fiat will eventually be history and crypto currency will become the norm, might not be bit coin, but this filthy tangible currency is not going to cut it in 100 years. It would be a stretch to say 20,so I said 100 years just to be safe, considering I will be dead ;( sniff sniff, and when I am gone, remember me like tupac.

No one cares. Sad

It'll be less than 10 years. We are on the verge of a currency crisis that will precipitate a global depression particularly in western nations.

Man I sure love these "bla bla bla 10 years" where are your facts?

Well aren't you guys doing great work! I feel like a silly sausage for letting my NLG go now!

I have the same experience, but I have bought in again. Does not matter if the price drops by 20% or even 50%. I will buy more. In fact I am looking forward to it. I want about 5BTC of 500-700sat gulden...

What makes this country coin so much better than others before it?

basically the commitment. You see developers working, not running away. There is a marketing and Dutch citizens were always explorers/enterpreneurs - there are lots of people here actually using the currency.

It really makes me think twice about national cryptocurrencies...NLG surely has future.

If Dutch are using bicycles to get by town without pollutions, they might aswell use the currency that is much more ecological.

Ok I am going in. Watch the price LOL

Wow that took you some time ;-)

Yeah, I kinda gave up on the whole national crypto idea when I saw those 10's of national crypto-coins dying.

I investd into NLG before but decided to cut my loses and move on. One of my friends still got like 650 000 of them that he bough on my advice, but he cant find the bittrex password and authenticator LOL.

Anyway NLG - You restored my faith, you are active adding new shops, marketing the NLG. Thank you for this. And if you manage to attract some private investors that would buy and hold on some NLG that would be awesome. I am in...

The price is a card house basically right now. I wish the price could drop to 500-700 so serious investors like me could have a chance to hold long-term.

Quick money gains cannot be stable long term. Price should just go up by few percents daily max. Not by 70% overnight.

Dumping to 600 would be healthy for the coin.

A lot of people are spending BTC they bought just recently or acquired through jobs, etc. The early adopter slice is much smaller than you think.

if you dont mind little offtopic: I read 60%+ Bitcoins have never moved. What do you think of that. Are those Bitcoins lost? Sitting somehwhere in a junkyard on 5 years old laptotps? Or are the early adopters completely GREED RESISTANT and they will never cash out? (They surely havent when the price was 1000USD/BTC)

My personal frustration that has seriously made me wonder if ai want to be involved in alt coins anymore is the case of Qora. A complete new code that has shown itself to be superior to NXT technically on many levels is completely overlooked because it's marketing is completely lacking. I personally am not technical so you have to go research to know in detail why, I want to put more substance but I'm working secondhand from others I respect. Anyway, I've come to the conclusion that marketing is all that matters and anticipation and convincing of some future time a coin is valuable.

Newsflash, Bitcoin is the only coin that is going to be accepted in the mainstream we are just developing the system that people will use to hold a bitcoin and other assets. Can you imagine as the mainstream gets familiar with Bitcoin then they are told about even the quality coins like Darkcoin and Litecoin, people will just say this is all a joke we can't put our money in this. But people don't care about reality they want to believe in yet another dumb coin with dumb promises.

All I want is a wallet that in a user friendly way can hold my assets, ie Bitcoin, Fiat, precious metals and maybe a few other exotic assets. A bunch of second gen coins can do this now, we don't need any more, it's like having a hundred Facebooks to choose from.

I think the real issue with Alts is that people view features as the new way to get rich like the early bitcoiners did.

This point is something I really agree with. People will be people and if they see a possible way to get rich they will take it. That's partially why Altcoin IPO scams are so successful in conning people out of their hard earned BTC.

Not hard earned but stepped on by a chance. Bitcoin is a fenomena that made lot of stupid people really rich. So they just go and spend their bitcoins like they have no fiat value (they don't see the connection).
