Hi, Would you know where I can get information on how to read all the interface data. I see two hashrates close to each other, a HW, a WU... is there some more info somewhere?? many tks

Hello guys, many thanks for all these answers. I have identified an interesting psu with 2 pci 8 pin that I will split + 2 molex that I will turn into 6PIN. This should work.
Regarding what I intend to mine, I will go for xmr for which the 2gb wont make much a difference.

Thank you very much for your input.
I have bought 2 for my tests, they do draw 40W (slightly less if you really target a low consumption) at the wall, modded, underclocked...
Regarding the riser, I am not sure at the moment. I think I will do molex like the ones I am using on my current rig. The problem is that it will raise the same issue. No PSU has 6 molex...so might try a combo of molex and sata..

Splitting the PCI 6PIN/Molex power lines?

Hi,

I have the project to build a second mining rig. For this one I would like to use 12 RX560 with 2 GB of memory.
I was hoping to find some help and answers to a few questions I have.

For the motherboard I was planning to use the Asrock H110 Pro BTC+, I think there shouldn't be much issues to get the GPU work in Linux.
The main concern I am facing at the moment is how to power the thing. @40W/gpu, 800-1200W would be largely sufficient. I was thinking about connecting 2*600W PSU.
The problem will still be to get enough PCI 6 PIN power lines. I do not know any power supply in this range providing more than 2-3 lines. I saw there was some splitters, do you think that could do the trick? Even If I split one line into 4 others, the power draw would still be quite low into theory (<200W)? Would that work?

Similarly, would you see any issue with splitting the MOLEX?
I am very open to any other suggestions you may have.

Many thanks for your inputs,

Bolchevickos.

thanks talat .         u seem like from middle east ..     me too .. I,m for Egypt ..

but tell me ?   is there is a Celeron Skylake ?     or its I series only ?  i3 i5  i7 ?
will sky lake dual core work ?
Intel Pentium G4400 Skylake Dual-Core 3.3GHz LGA 1151   ??

can u tell me which processor u were using first ?  I don,t want to fall into the same problem

i tried with i3 6500 but gonna try with G4400 in few days. I ordered today
I will tell you if it works

awaiting your feed back ....   who knows I might give my feed back first ...  we already have the board but GPUz isn't, available yet .

I am waiting for the Intel Celeron G3900 Skylake in the mail. Should be able to get everything up and running to see how it goes.

Morning everyone,
I am highly interested in building my first rig around this mb with 7 rx 480. I was also planning on using the G3900 so please let me know how it goes. Quick question for you guys: would 1000W be enough?

1000w should be enough if you mess with voltage/efficiency...I'd suggest a secondary PSU or a 1300w one though

The 480's don't appear to have the same card limitation as the 470's do...but you might have to mess with voltage to get it perfect.

I'm making a mixed build on this mobo as well as using the g4400, I'll report back once it's functional.

Many thanks for your feedback. Actually for the same price I can get 2*650W with better efficiency so it would definitely make sense to go for 3 + mobo one one and the 4 left and the second one.
