Re: Could this be the best time to invest?
by

on 30/07/2020, 21:40:41 UTC
Very well it could be.
For the first time in years, I am optimistic about crypto market, the last rally in my book is a very strong indicator.

The question is which alts will perform, will the small coins pump, will the ICOs be popular again...

I guess no one can easily predict what will happen to small coins now. What will happen in 2020 might be different from what we experienced in 2017 when almost everything that came then pumped. Even the total shit coins pumped at that time, but i doubt that happening again. I think investors are now very careful with the investments they do.

To convince people to buy or invest in your project because there's covid and people are on lockdown isn't a maximum reason to get them involved. Lockdown it no lockdown project that will succeed will definitely succeed so I don't see the impact of indoors to your project success. Best is to work on your project to gain investors mind not Covid.

The pandemic has never been an impediment to the growth of crypto projects. The team of any project that is still ready to deliver to their community have more opportunities to do so at this time than ever. Good projects are being released and they are succeeding, while some are still crawling because they have nothing to back up their ideas.

Re: Chinese Firms Collaborate With Chinese Central Bank to Launch Digital Yuan
by

on 29/07/2020, 22:48:49 UTC
Well, it's a good news actually.  We just want to hope it becomes reality because numerous similar news like this we have read and heard and at the end of the day, it remains at the level of the news.
That doesn't seem to be good news at all. Remember china has already started to issue its own digital currency and that means it will not consider crypto as a choice to be used in china. The good news when crypto has a chance to create a bridge with it.

Will there ever be such a chance? Well, maybe in other countries or parts of the world, but for China, the Chinese might seriously want to go against it, because it will definitely overshadow theirs. So, they will try all means possible, to ensure that their own digital currency remain relevant and more important than any other.

Re: ETH is going up day by day..
by

on 29/07/2020, 22:41:31 UTC
i think generally we are in a altcoin season and Eth being one of the kings of altcoins does not want to be left behind . But i am actually surprised to see i this high i didn't know it was coming this far when the bull run stated but lets keep watching to see where its running to.

I still don't agree that we are yet in the alt season, because so many altcoins are not growing as expected. We all know why Ethereum is moving uptrend, but for others, something seems to be stagnating, except for few ones among them. Right now BTC is also growing. So, I would say that both BTC and ETH are the main coins allowing the market to grow for now.

Re: Whats your fears in new cryptocurrency?
by
Bonwin
on 29/07/2020, 22:36:53 UTC
My fear after the bear market is never be in the state I was in the last bear market; holding so many altcoin into the bear and selling at a massive loss at the price dip. Strategy is to sell at the peak of the market and buy at the low of the market. Another fear is to hold a scam coin, coins that may never get on exchange, delist from exchange and hack on the proect

I think the highest fear of all, which i have also experienced is to keep in coin in my wallet for years without being able to trade it against a value. I have had one of such in the past and an abandoned wallet for that matter. Most of the coins had in them, although were airdrop. I only bought few, mainly on DEX, te then folkdelta. The history of those coins today cannot be traced.

Re: Is This What is Called Professional?
by
Bonwin
on 25/07/2020, 22:15:32 UTC
Most people here surely know "BountyDetective" because he manages a lot of campaigns, when we register he will definitely be asked to fill in an Email: (in form)
"Email addresses will be hidden, and won't be used for any spam / promotional actions. Emails are to verify users when comparing data with projects own data."

But in fact they publish our emails in spreadsheet, is this what is called professional Huh We know that email is privacy and not for publication.
How do you think?

This concern should be directed to BountyDetective itself, so you could get their own views too and for amendment to be made, because it not proper. Letting them know the dangers attached to it will be of utmost importance.
If they are not told, the mistake will continue to repeat itself until participants who expose their sensitive emails begin to fall victim.
So, OP, or anyone can pas it across to the for correction.

Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings?
by
Bonwin
on 25/07/2020, 22:10:12 UTC
Ratings aren't reliable, this is the last thing you want to make decisions on before choosing crypto coins, even a top 200 altcoin can perform more or bring better ROI than top 10 altcoins, we are all here to make profits and that's what's important
You are right, of course, you cannot blindly trust the ratings. everyone should evaluate the liquidity and reliability of cryptocurrency assets for himself.
I have the doubt if ratings are still being considered as reliable and if there is anyone whostill does that, it shows tat the person is still very new to the system and has not learnt his lessons from past mistakes.
Well, i am not saying that rating do not have their own benefits too, but tat depending solely on those rating might be a bad idea.

Re: BOUNTY PAYMENT MATTERS
by
Bonwin
on 25/07/2020, 22:06:01 UTC
Will it be wise if this forum put up a request that ALL NEW PROJECTS EXPECTING TO RUN BOUNTIES SHOULD PAY A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF FUNDS BEFORE CONDUCTING ANY BOUNTY OR run an ESCROW.
The fund will be use to settle hunters should incase project owners Refuse to pay hunters Or decides to play tricks with hunters payment after a successful bounty campaign. For over a long period, hunters has been crying and wailing about successful campaigns that has refused to make payment. there are new campaigns on-going and more projects will run bounty campaigns sooner or later. the issue of payment is still a lingering problem here with No solid profound solution. Apart from the fact that some projects has the ANN Thread labelled as SCAMS, it is still do not offer solutions to payments.

the idea above is just a suggestion.. we all hope that a perfect solution will solve this issue of projects refusing to settle hunters here and will promote this platform.

I agree with your idea that currently the payment problem has not found the best solution. the label "Scammer" will not change the feelings of bounty hunters who have been lied to by them. because we have all been working on their projects for 3 - 4 months. so it really needs a concrete solution by the founder of this forum so that no party is harmed.

There are some projects that are currently experiencing delay due to some challenges being faced on the development of their projects. A project that does not have a product, cannot give value to it's token. So, there is no point if bounty hunters are paid tokens withoutvalue and not listed on exchange. That will be the worst part of it. The main solution here is to be careful of the bounty to join.

Whatever you see happening to crypto now is still an experiment and somehow, it is already proving to be relevant. Although it might not be totally accepted allover the world, there are some parts of the world today that are already using it full fledge because they appreciate it's value. Irrespective of how volatile it is, crypto will one day becomes relevant to everyone and modalities will be worked out for its usage.

by

on 24/07/2020, 23:46:56 UTC
things should not be taken lightly with them. The rule that was not stated before the bounty started and during the bounty, but that because they wanted to be shady with their distribution, they decided to fabricate some obnoxious rules from another planet to reduce the reward and deny participants of their rewards. It is totally unfair and should be frowned at.

Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020?
by
Bonwin
on 23/07/2020, 13:18:11 UTC
To avoid wasting time on bounties you need to do research, not just any kind of research but a very good research, kingcasino turned scam unexpectedly, some projects won't end well, know which one you'd use your energy on

I think bounty hunters deceived themselves for Kingcasino. From the look of things, right from the start, kingcasino looked shady. The project IEO was also done on shady exchanges. So, it was very clear that it would end up as scam project. The outcome was not surprising, but the mistake that bounty hunters made was that they followed the bounty manager or company that managed it, instead of doing their own research.

Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project?
by
Bonwin
on 23/07/2020, 12:57:29 UTC
I think bounty and airdrops kill projects, yes. Because everyone sells their reward immediately and price dump really fast

That is what you think. THis is a total wrong notion about bounty hunters. Let's be realistic:
What are bounty hunters paid thisthese that would make them dump the price of the coin/token they are paid?
The fact is that bounty pools these days are not just worth it, except for very few projects. Even projects that provide good amount of reward to bounty hunters do not dump.
Most times, you see coins/tokens dump even when hunters have not been paid.

Re: Who said that ICOs are dead?
by
Bonwin
on 23/07/2020, 12:27:59 UTC
I am kind of surprise that ICO is still accumulating huge fund despite all that was done in 2017. Although I have always known that in the crypto space, anything is possible and this is one of the impossibilities that has now become possible. If this project is what is expected to form the ETH update, then it is on the right track.
Not every ICO project will be able to raise very high fund. Trying that might be a waste of time for so many of them, except they source of the right and ready investors.

Re: What do you think about the oikos.cash project
by
Bonwin
on 22/07/2020, 08:53:19 UTC
One thing i have come to understand is that, it is never too hard for a good project to succeed. As a matter of fact, the success comes easily. I believe that Oikos cash will achieve all the milestones on their roadmap, since they already got a good start. Starting well is very important and ending well depend on a trusted team. Oikos has a team with good reputation and hardworking.
