Re: [ANN][QTL] Quatloo, A DarkWaveGravity Scrypt Coin Mandatory UPDATE to v1.2.1

With a planned coin reduction, sufficient marketing and development Quatloo could be at 80,000 Satoshi. When I compare this with the current price it makes no sense to sell any.  Many bought at a much higher price.

I'm just gonna hodl Quatloo until the price increases.

A takeover by Sampey with his CAT could push the price up.

I'm very disappointed about the news to say at least. Sampey will consider Quatloo as a competitor that is costing him market share. Also he has a differrent approach. He is selling his bot for BTC whereas Quatloo is conditional freeware that requires QTL to run. Quatloo trader and CAT are the only two well known bots that don't require to give your trading information to a third party (e.g. opposed to the online bots where you have to log into a website and which potentially could steal your trading strategy. I would avoid those).

Quatloo has a unique position in the market and it would be a total waste if the code isn't transferred to a new developer. The task is up to Fyrstikken if he really cares about the coin. Don't accept the first best developer who crosses your way, search for a good one who is interested to develop Quatloo long term.

Quatloo is a brand name and you don't waste opportunities like this, you seize the opportunity.

To find a new developer Markus will have to let go some of his Quatloo stash. After all he shouldn't promote his software as nearly ready and then not finishing it. The new developer could receive Quatloos via an escrow system where Quatloos are transferred to him when reaching pre-defined development milestones. There could also be 2 or 3 developers who share the development.

There is a lot of support for Quatloo in the community.

Will there be a tutorial available for the new Quatloo Trader III software that is coming out tonight?

The software announcement page could need a clean-up.

search for quatloo trader on Youtube

Fyrstikken did a 15 minute tutorial for the V2 so V3 maybe..i will ask him on teamspeak later

Thanks for your message. I like the videos and I hope there will be new videos for version 3 but it would be very helpful if Markus could provide a written reference for the Quatloo Trader 3. If I want to know the details for one small section of the software settings it takes too much time to search through an online video that is stored somewhere on a website.

It is much more efficient to quickly look it up in a text document. Quatloo should support efficiency.

Quatloo can make trading more efficient. Here you can find information on the previous version:

There is a new version (version 3) in development coming out soon.

I think this is much better than dice:

Hello everybody! Guys, tell me the settings work for this bot can please make a screen with operating parameters.

There is a video available that shows how to use it.

I'd rather prefer a manual and I hope Markus is going to provide a manual for the new Quatloo trading software. It would be better if the instructions were available right at the start.

But what options do you use? Yet people trade on it. But how? You can configure sreen please workers.

Maybe there will be a better tutorial with the new version.

Hi everyone!  I'll be making an announcement regarding the status of the upcoming Quatloo trader update sometime within the next 24hrs.. I was hoping to do it Monday(today).. but i'm not ready.

I don't mind one or two days or even Thursday.

The key is to do it properly.

Who else bought the dip??  Looking for a new support level of about 4,000 satoshi.  Good idea to get some more at that price and set sell orders for Monday's announcement.

I love this coin!  Play your cards right and improve your positions before the real action starts!  Wink

QTL has 5 btc buy support at polo. What does it mean?

It just means that there is completely zero interest in the coin. Further insider are not buying as well, which means that the upcoming bot is a scam and wrong alert.

For someone who doesn't believe in Quatloo you spend a lot of time here. Smiley

-Proof of Stake would help secure the network and protect from forks (like the one that happened).
-It would encourage people to hold their coins to earn stake reward and take those coins off the market. Usually this has a very very positive effect on price as has been the case for most PoS coins. (clam-rby-etc..)
-It would make whales much more interested in being involved due to not worrying about endless inflation from PoW mining.
-PoW coins are very hard to raise the price on and keep the price up due to daily mining dumps and lack of investor interest. See coinmarketcap.com for top 50 coins that are PoS, not mined, near fully mined.
-PoS inflation could be 5-10 percent a year whereas PoW inflation (3 percent per MONTH - 36 per year) dumps .125 btc a day to the order book. At 1 million dollar market cap that would be 2.5 btc per DAY.
-Generally miners will be pro PoW since that is their income (mine and sell daily) and PoS will appeal more to investors who want the value of a coin to rise and preserve that value as an asset.
-PoS is perfect for a coin that is connected to a service like this trading software. It will make it much more appealing to hold while using the bot instead of worrying about high inflation lowering price.

PoW is like endless printing of shares of a company -- PoW is more like an actual investment
(BTC exception granted Tongue)

etc...etc...etc...

Thanks for your reply. Currently I'm not a fan of Proof of Stake (PoS). Please keep in mind that there are many PoS coins that failed.

Addressing your points:

1. Blockchain forks rarely happen and usually are resolved (longest chain rule) within short time. Mining can secure the network as well.

2. Stake reward for holding is a good argument.

3. 'whales much more interested' Your argument is flawed. Inflation comes from the number of coins generated each day. It does not matter whether the coins are generated by Proof of Stake or by Proof of Work (mining). It will be the same number of coins generated each day. The difference is that miners have higher electricity costs and miners sell some of their mined coins to cover the cost of mining. This leads to more supply and pressure on the price. Without the price pressure the developer can sit back doing nothing. The price pressure motivates the developer to continue with the development of the coin because development increases the value of the coins that the developer holds.

4. People will get more interested in Quatloo if Markus develops a software that is useful and functional. Also it would help if he improves the advertising of Quatloo.

5. There were security concerns for PoS.

6. I'm concerned that a pure Proof of Stake system is unfair for small holders. Whales would get too much without contributing to the coin or the development.

7. Development and improvement should be the main drivers to make the Software more valuable.

That's why I would prefer Proof of Work for Quatloo.

Bitcoin is going up and all alts are dropping.

The question is can I sell QTL now and buy back lower?

The answer could be:

Yes you can sell Quatloo and yes it is possible that you'll have the chance to buy it back later for a higher price  Smiley

How high is the inflation per day?

I think the number of coins mined each day has been halved.

People do need to take in to considerations that OKCoin has some strict limits on who they allow to trade at their site.

"We are unable to service citizens or residents of Algeria, Ecuador, Indonesia, Iran, North Korea, Myanmar, Syria and United States."

I do understand the intent, as it could bring a huge audience (mostly Chinese citizens) into QTL, but on the other hand this certainly doesn't encourage some users to hold QTL for the sake of a new bot, as I imagine a fair amount of QTL traders/holders are US citizens

This is a very good comment! A smart solution to this is to have a CHINESE LANGUAGE VERSION of Quatloo. I don't have the time for the translation but Markus should be able to find somebody who can translate the commands on the menu and on the buttons. He also needs to think how he would like to introduce the software to a Chinese audience.

This would be great. Having a Chinese language version would for sure increase the user base!

I wanted to buy some more coins. Why is the price of Quatloo already starting to rise?

Can't it just wait until I get my salary to buy some more?

Dudes!
