It is still possible, but yea eveyone is right. For arbitrage between exchanges it can be difficult.
Why not do some tests with a small ammount of altcoin and try to do crypto-crypto arbitrage, learning by doing is the best. Do not forget to add the exchange fees and withdraw fees charged by the exchanges.
Alt coins are better for starters, because for the most part, you don't have to wait very long for transfers.
This is really a suckers game. You really are not going to be able to profit from this.
True, it's too riky especially for newcomers. You have to be lucky. Most of these trades are made by bots, and you have to be faster then them or write your own (better) script using exchange APIs.
Or you need to have faster internet connection to exchange than other bots/traders have.
Even if you have fast internet, the bots will out trade you, any day.
Most high volume bots would have a 100ms give or take ping to the exchange, which is the fastest a human can react to a change.

Re: World Bank Report: Bitcoin is a ‘Naturally Occurring’ Ponzi
Money are never dirty, and can therefore not be laundered. Money are always divine.
This is not always true, as if you acquired money in an illegitimate manor, or if the specific money can link you to a specific crime, then it is considered to be "dirty"
Money acquired in an illegitimate manner is only "dirty", if it can be directly connected to the crime.
In order for this to work, there would HAVE to be fractional reserve. Why? Because printing bills like that costs money. Especially if you want to make them so good they can't be counterfeit.
What about taxes? Those could be used to offset the price difference.
The proof that the rebels had indeed a Buk missile defense system.

DONETSK, June 29, /ITAR-TASS/. Self-defence forces of the Donetsk Peoples Republic have taken control over a missile defence army unit equipped with Buk missile defence systems, the press service of the Donetsk Peoples Republic told Itar-Tass on Sunday.
Why are they now claiming they don't have it ?
Because claiming they don't have it pushes them away from the responsibility.

Was the plane supposed to fly over this area anyway? It seems like a terrible choice on the part of the Malaysia Airlines.

Re: I have 3 Million USD to invest into Crypto Currency - How should I do it?
That is an interesting idea, you could probably get a pretty good deal on a block of 3k BTC, and then sell it at a higher price on an exchange. I'm not sure how much, if any, discount you could get from buying in bulk.
Just a suggestion... But I doubt someone with 3 million, would conduct themselves in this matter...
