Re: [2017-05-26]South Korean Bitcoin Exchanges Trade $1000 Over Global Average

Anyone have any experience with using a South Korean exchange as a foreigner?

I tried signing up for Korbit, which has an English version for their site. Looks like they want the same type of personal information that Coinbase would though. Not sure how I feel about giving a foreign company that information where I'm not even sure what my rights are.

SEO here. From a pure search perspective, it's not a good idea to have lots of sites each with multiple links pointing back to your website.

I advise reducing the link requirement in blog articles to just one link back to your site.

Hey guys, I used to be the editor for The CoinFront. Chris Bates did some writing work for me back then, and has also worked for me since then in other business ventures.

It seems like there's some questioning of his identity - just wanted to put in my two cents and vouch for him.

For what it's worth he's a great guy, talented and passionate about what he does. I have a lot of confidence in any project he gets behind.

SEO here.

Anyone who promises to rank you at the top of Google is bluffing just to get your business. Nobody can promise to get you to the top of Google except Google itself. Since SEOs don't control Google, the best they can reasonably promise is to implement all the known best practices in order to boost your site's rankings.

It's also important to note what "the top of Google" means. Are they ranking you at the top of Google for keywords which no one is using? Or are you ranking for keywords which are actually valuable?

Most of the best SEOs don't work based on results. They charge a monthly fee, which they can back up with a portfolio of demonstrable results. And they usually charge more than 1BTC as well.

If you've invested 30BTC into this project of yours, you may want to take a step back and reevaluate your business plan. That's a lot of dough without seeing any results. I don't mean pull the plug altogether, but you may need to pivot your strategy to take it in a more profitable direction.

If you want to chat more about it, drop me a line on skype @brade_csm.

My apologies. I'm new here and thought this was a section for general news.

Mods, feel free to do whatever it is you do to this sort of post. I'll repost it elsewhere.

Do you have an upcoming crypto-related project? Then let's chat!

Hi all,

My name is Brad Edwards, though I'm sure you already gathered that from my username.

I'm the editor of a crypto news website, The CoinFront. We're a pretty new site, but we've got lofty goals for it. Our aim is to be one of the best go-to sources for information on Bitcoin and crypto, but that's going to take some effort. That, and some interesting, unique content.

That's where you come in!

Do you have a project related to cryptocurrency which you'd like to see get some more exposure? Drop me a line, and let's chat! We can work together on a PR piece which outlines exactly what your project does, how you'll benefit people who use it, and what you hope to accomplish with it.

Though our site is new, we're averaging a couple hundred hits per day, so you'll get your project out there in front of a wide range of people in crypto-land.

You can contact me at brad@thecoinfront.com, or over twitter at @brade_csm.

One of my favourite things about the world of cryptocurrency is the willingness to work together to help each other accomplish our goals. Sure there are scammers, but for every pirate@40 out there, there are many more who truly care about this new world and want to see it work. So let's work together to get our projects more attention!

The true extent of the damage is unknown, but has been described as “significant”. The Scryptominers admins have stated that they will cover “as much of the loss of coins from all of our pools that we can”.

The business is actually based out of Canada. They have a .co.uk address until such time as they can figure out how to renew their .com with Bitcoin. Why they have a .co.uk and not a .ca or something similar, I have no idea.

I wrote an article about them just yesterday as well.
