This release contains cryptonight_heavy and small OpenCL-AMD optimisations.
Pre-compiled binaries for Linux are back.
Config files from 2.5.X are compatible and 2.4.X or older are NOT compatible to this release.
FAQ:
- The exact increase in AMD will vary. The difference between 2 and 10% was noticed on test cards.
- under Nvidiyu in heavy growth will not be compared with 2.5.2 (the optimization method in fact would even slow them)
- in CNv2, the difference, if any, will be within the limits of error
- Drivers are still or BC or not new.
If you throw here the maximum hashrate that you received from the card in this form:
Miner (config): intensity, memory card, strided, work size, number of streams per card. + miner version (stack)
Map: hpp / memory frequency (memory type) and frequency
Operating system
Zhor / temperatures: whenever possible (there are problems with it - the hive moves as far as is known, if there is a zhor from the outlet - excellent)
it is important - you need to be sure that the balls reach the pool and errors do not pour out. (in stack it can be checked by pressing R)
This would help people to select the config, and for us in collecting statistics.

I'm looking to sell the whole system. It would be harder to sell the components if broken up.

If you are going to reinstall the OS, take note that the motherboard does have a quirk where using 4 GPUs causes a resource conflict. Disabling a few resources in device manager will permanently fix the issue, but will also disable the audio and 2 usb ports (4 remaining will work). I have a screenshot marking which devices to disable.

HI-TEC99, I'm looking to see what the wallet.dat format looked like and how it might have changed over time, in particular what hex sequence precedes a private key. I have a damaged drive that needs to be scanned and the filesystem is unlikely to work. I'll send you a PM for that 0.1.

I'm looking for a compiled version of bitcoin before v0.4.0 for Windows. I've found the source code, but bringing all the dependencies together is proving difficult. Is there an archive of compiled older versions of the bitcoin client?

Well this thread/product is no different from BFL approaches, he posted here actively for the first few pages and since then nothing from the OP. If this product was meant to be released surely he would want to keep it active regarding development and what not?
Actually, it's hugely different. BFL took full payment upfront and delayed shipment for months. For largecoin, according to the OP, only 15% of the price is held in escrow. Better than that, you get to have the product for a full month before paying the remaining price.
When you receive the unit and connect it to the network, you will be granted a temporary mining license enabling the system to mine for a period of 30 days. When we receive the balance of your payment, a permanent mining license will be issued to you.
Pre-ordering didn't involve transfer of funds.
The preorder process simply involved giving name, address, and quantity. Then they would whip up an escrow agreement and a deposit would be held in escrow. That second part hasn't taken place, so nobody needs to do a chargeback.
My absolute best guess is that if someone did pre-order they have allready done a chargeback(hopefully they paid with some form of chargeback capable method)

You're right. We should be GLAD they take our money, lie about when they are shipping, and offer no real information on what to expect until after its already been figured out. Oh yeah, don't forget to wait for the big announcement tomorrow. Lets just hope its just as exciting as last week's big shipping day.
Just to be sure, are you organizing a road trip to their facilities without actually knowing if they'll grant a tour? "We are the PAYING customers! We demand a tour!" That'll go over well. This thread is pathetic.
I understand about Yubikey - but it's cost free to implement would just be an added feature for GLBSE. I can show you how to implement it without buying a Yubikey if you want, it's actually pretty straight forward. There's no real drawback to offering it, once you get it setup, it pretty much is hands off at that point.
Any final decision regarding yubikeys? It would be a nice feature.

as far as I could find out, you only can activate 2step auth for any of the 3 options and it's a one way street.
once you enable it for any of the options, it stays on and can not be changed later.
the good news is, all 3 options when activated, return the same code so it's enough to write it down once.
if you missed three chances to write down a code can't help you.
if you can't do anything now means you already clicked on all 3 buttons that activate 2step auth for withdrawal, transfer and password change and you're done. if you did not have 2step auth activated prior to that step, no idea how to help you now.

Setting up the account was a mess. Everything I did led to a "Internal Service Error" and after twenty tries with different emails, usernames, and two step auth settings, I finally got in. However, I don't know which email it is using or which two step auth choices I selected, and the password is temporary and very weak. Also, nothing shows up under settings, so I can't view/change email, view which two step auth settings are selected, or change password. The settings page shows absolutely nothing. I'd rather have the account deleted and try registering again. However, Nefario is not responding to days old PMs, even though it shows him as "online" many times since I've sent the PMs. This has been a very frustrating start to GLBSE.

no he should, if he wants for bitcoin to succeed. this could be what kills bitcoin. it would also not be good for Vladimir, if he crashed bitcoin after pumping alot of money in to it.

We already have a competing ASIC builder. Combine that with the various FPGA offerings and Butterfly Labs, Vladimir isn't posing a threat. I don't think the OP will get very far with this, anyway.
