Not all European countries charge import or VAT, we certainly don't, and we've just dropped our prices to Euro75/kW/month.

QG - could you please update our price to Euro75/kW/month (no VAT, no import duty and no minimum power consumption requirement). Also my email has changed to brian.rae@advania.com. Thanks.

We got 50+ units currently running. Who wants to host them?

What insurance do all these new companies have to protect the equipment in case they go under, run off with the equipment etc.?

Good question, although I would suggest that you might want to look at taking out your own insurance if these scenarios worry you - their insurance may or may not cover you for your equipment, and you may have real problems getting your equipment past angry landlords if they have gone under owning money.

We'd also be very interested in hosting your units, we've been around in the IT services industry for decades and running data centres for many years with lots of customers from individually owned bitcoin miners through to large financial institutions. We charge Euro90/kW/month.

I can recommend Brian (Brian_AdvaniaThor), just arranged to host two SP10 at Advania with him. Quick replies and great service ... hope this follows through when they reach Iceland.

I'll update when they are up and running.

Update: After TNT took an extra day or 2 to deliver, Advania got my SP10s racked and mining within 24 hours, so very pleased.

Intake temps don't fluctuate more than 2 degrees at most (In the range of 19°C to 21°C).

As I write they are showing:

Miner 1 shows: 20 °C intake / 67,79 °C @ 1.42 Th/s
Miner 2 shows: 20 °C intake / 69,70 °C @ 1.44 Th/s

Seriously thinking of sending the SP30s on order there as well.

Great - glad to hear all are running well, and thanks for the review!

Announcement: Advania DC will soon offer VPN service for miners with private VLAN. I appreciate the support from Advania and all my miners will be hosted with them. Thank you!

Thanks for that, Roadstress, that's right. We'll be offering a VPN as an optional upgrade for Euro7/month for those who don't want their miners to be accessible through a public IP. And thanks for the kind words, we'll certainly do our best to continue to earn them.

Hi folks, I'd like to introduce myself, I work with Aegir at Advania and can help with any queries you have on hosting your mining equipment in our Thor Data Centre facility.

You can contact me directly on brian.rae@thordc.com or through PM on this site (or Brian_R at WHT). I'm online most of the time day and evening, so should be able to help pretty quickly in most cases.

Glad to see Advania active here.

How is the bitcoin payment integration going? I am sure that you know that payments are non-reversible and that you pay 0 fees for any payments that you receive and you also don't need to deal directly with bitcoins since you are receiving $ directly to your bank account. Please have a look at BitPay.com or BIPS.me.

Yes, I understand the advantages. It's not on the horizon yet, but hopefully, in time.....
