I was working on an Entrepreneur project with him and he wanted to do something with crypto. He has been trading alt coins for a few years on a small scale - he caught my crypto enthusiasm. The project involved planning out all the steps needed to make something successful.
We believe the idea is valid and we are happy with our current progress but thought we'd open it up to the community for any feedback before finalizing the details and publishing the whitepaper.
Cool - good for him :-)
He's bitten off a pretty big project - I hope it goes well!

The value shown on the explorer for MasterNode 3 adddress ( "Bk2kdubCLsKhKP9jxDM7nom9gNEWFmhe8i" ) doesn't match the value shown locally in the wallet.

Its off by 42.0002 - I'm guesing the .0002 is due to the negative balance on "Masternode 2", but I have no idea where the 42 comes from ?

Coin2Fly team when will the source code available in order to setup another pool? We prefer to build from source and not use the pre-compiled one.

explorer shows blocks ticking by w/ rewards....maybe we're the premine??
I was just thinking same thing...
Dev. hasn't even bothered to comment as to whether they're even tracking coins,
and if it will be paid out...

edit: yeah - looks like anti-instamine and not a pool error - the block explorer is not showing any block rewards being paid out either.

have a node up and coins in wallet, how do I convert to masternode...change .conf files or is there some tracker software?
I don't know if there's any bolt specific docs yet, but it works like any other dash clone...
guides for dash, innova, pivx, etc. should get you pointed in the right direction.

A common cause for that is the transaction is locked...

Broke, it means that your port of router is open! Why don't you try a VPS on Vultr or Digitalocean? It's much easir. I'll code a script that help setup masternode. It'd be release soon.
I actually have 3 bolt MNs running atm - on Ubuntu vps....
along with 3-4 other types of MN

edit: I just looked again - and there are still NO masternodes running on non-standard ports...

So it would appear that no-one has managed to get it going on a non-standard port yet.
You should be able to get .4 coins with a GTX 1070 (1000 kh/s).
I think this coin is an interesting project. The block reward is lower, but I think there's a good chance it won't get dumped as quickly as the other masternode coins.

In order for that to be on par with other coins, the price would have to stay at or above $10/coin ($10 * 0.4 = $4 day/card)....
very few MN coins maintain that after the initial 'masternode fever' wears off

You can run 1 masternode per port on same IP.
Huh - I couldn't get that working - got an error like "port must be 11990 for mainnet" or something
edit: actually, looking thru the masternode list - It looks like all of them are on the default port
The mining reward will increase as the block reward table shows. We got miners that are creating new coins and we also must take in consideration the price of the coin when we talk about the miners profit.
yeah - if the coin hits $100 - and miners can make a whole .1 of them a day.... just think of the profits!!

Guys, Can I run more than 1 Masternode on a VPS server?
I couldn't get it working..Seems like vanilla wallets can run on any port, but not masternodes.
I also couldn't reliably get 1 wallet to run more then 1 MN. I'd always end up 'unable to allocate VIN'
or some such.
After jerking around with it, I finally said screw it, and create 1 wallet per mn
wallets can run on alt. ports - doesn't appear MNs can. This setup has run
stable for a few days now.
edit: number of masternodes is going up fast too. already 93 running.

i am getting like boooooo solved in the miner while solo mining but still no coins in the wallet...
booo means the share was rejected....

So, if all your getting is 'boo' - you won't get any coins...
