I have same problem too, getwork.
I managed to cash out 32K but I cannot manually withdraw the coins left in my account.
I have sent couple of e-mails with no reply whatsoever...

First of all, if you have 0.5BTC and you send 0.25BTC, your remaining balance would be 0.25, not 2.5!!!  Huh
don't worry then. If you have your wallet encrypted with a strong password, it would take years to bruteforce it.

If you look at dustcoin, you can see profitability of different altcoins.
then you can pick your preferred coin!
