Re: [ANN] Saturncoin - Ready for the first flight to Saturn? JUST LAUNCHED - 3 GHs

There is something wrong with Dedicatedpool payments. I had to earn over 80,000 coins per hour with my 6.5 MH/s farm with this network hashrate and difficulty and I've got only 17,000 coins. This is not variance.  Angry

Same here, i should have had few 100k but only got 25k so far at dedicated.

First got screwed by OP saying the starting dif would be 0.03 while it was 1.0 so failed at solo and thus started to late at poolmining but also seem to get way too less coins there!

Not sure what the deal is with all this. Still mining tho but not liking it at all.

To the above people getting paid less...and everyone else...please look at this:

https://github.com/saturncoinnet/Saturncoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp

Look at lines 850 and 855.  Block rewards are between 1 and 250k, not 1 and 1.25m.
This means all estimates are probably off by a factor of 5.

As much as I like dedicatedpool, we have way too much hashrate again somehow! Until the admin can close registrations (yet again), I'm going to switch to a different coin for now. As much as I like and want more coino, I don't think consistently having >51% of the network is a good thing in the long run.

^^^

The work of the master... all I can say!!!

Unbelieveable... I have never been able to run a card at I20... I  just get hardware errors everywhere... Unbelievable

EDIT - 620W from the wall[02:15 US Eastern time]

What PSU are you using? I find that if I overclock mine to that level I can get the hashrate described, but it's not stable. After about an hour or so BAMT cranks the CPU to 100% and everything freezes and I have to reboot. I'm only using a 750W PSU so I thought maybe the overclocking was drawing more power than I thought (I have 3 R9 270s), but if you're only drawing 620W from the wall, then maybe that's not the problem and maybe it's just an issue with BAMT.

Thoughts?

Folks, does a calculator exist anywhere for DGB, to calcualte esitmated return vs a given difficulty?  I'm trying to gauge how my mining performance is stacking up on the pool I'm on (luckyminers)....  just downloaded my transaction history and worked out that my average over the past 3 days has been around 16500/day.  I know this will obviously have varied a lot with the difficulty fluctuations, but just need a sanity check to see if this is around what others are getting... or if I should be tweaking things (change pools etc.)

My hash rate is a fairly consistant 2.4mh/s (3 x r9 290s)

I haven't updated to include DGB yet, but you can use my calculator at http://cryptocalc.io/ and plug in the numbers yourself if you want.

We've been under 100% estimated shares for the past hour guys! Come join us while the difficulty is still low! Cheesy

Its been like hitting the perpertual Lotto today with these rush of blocks

Iron

Of course, right after I say something, we go over 100%.  Oops.  Embarrassed. Still, very steady payouts and we had a nice string of blocks over the average amount.

Was very nice about my requests to switch pools every once in a while after I made a bad call switching to a certain pool.  Also is willing to deal on price, so that was nice. Would rent again if needed Smiley

I am interested in buying this, how would I redeem the code?
Directions straight from the back of the voucher:

You will then receive a code for you to enter on origin.

We dealt with it over PM, but thanks Smiley.

This has been sold.

You could try Sapphire Trixx, I wasn't able to undervolt in MSI afterburner but I was in Trixx.

Also, you *might* be able to in MSI afterburner, but you have to unlock voltage control first.

Settings -> General Tab, check the "Unlock voltage control" box.

Wooo hoo on cryptsy!

Unfortunately we had a string of bad luck yesterday with a lot of blocks taking over 100% of the estimated shares to solve them Sad.  Even though the difficulty went up, hopefully we get some more people joining and we get lucky with some quick blocks!

For another comparison, I know I already stated what I get earlier in the thread but here's a screenshot:

http://i.imgur.com/tZLIYSe.png

These are the Gigabyte R9 270 Windforce OC ones. I wanted to keep the project under $1000, but I didn't buy a hard drive or memory (had memory laying around and it's running BAMT from a USB stick). I'm not sure on the power usage, as I don't have a Killawatt, but from what I'm reading elsewhere, the highest I can find is max powerdraw is 180W each.

Here's a little mini album of the rig I built for it, I'm kind of proud of it but I didn't buy enough screws to make a spot for the PSU yet so I have to go back to Home Depot Sad:

Wow you got 730KH/s out of the ASUS card without tweaking any settings? That's impressive!

I spent forever trying to get mine to push 700 and I've tweaked a bunch.  It only ran at like 550-600 right out of the box. Do you know what settings it's currently running at to get that high?

Here is a screen-shot of my batch-file...

*snip*

A pair of ASUS R9280X-DC2-3GD5 running an identical 735Kh/s... 1.470Mh/s average over the past 24 hours.

Thanks man, I'll try that out.

I actually recently just built a rig that's a trio of R9 270s (non x version). I was reading that the 270x hashrate is around 475 KH/s, and the 270 can get to 475 as well.  Currently, all three of mine are hashing at a consistent 470 KH/s each, so I'm getting the same hash power out of a cheaper card!. I got three gigabyte ones from Newegg for $180/each, and it seems most of the 270x's are going for $220+. Something to think about Wink

It saddens me that we put up big bounty's for developers/apps/games.

To date the only interactive games we have are gambling based where the builders aren't thinking about the brand as much as the gains.

WE WANT A GAME(s): You know, a character, environment, graphics, sound fx, branding. I don't care if you buy gamesalad templates and just fill them in with our brand, or build out a geeky leaf walking around collecting pebbles for points and donating them to charities for more point or whatever the plot/objective is.

I still have a good 1,000,000 eac put away for 5-10 'proper' games as bounty's. **I believe we actually have 1-2 in development or in pre-development so this might change shortly but I'd still love to see more.

Please DO NOT advertise your gambling and risk of loss games here from now on, please don't even call them games, it's just building frustration among our userbase.

Indeed I imagine there are other games in development/pre-development as I am working on one as well.  Don't want to give out too much information just yet though.

Guys we have a smaller EAC pool at http://eac.dedicatedpool.com and it's been making people a killing on earthcoins.  Sometimes it's better to use smaller pools because you get more of a cut and you can submit more shares without getting trampled on by the guys with 6 billion Mh/s rigs.

Come check it out.. blocks come a bit slower but in the end, you get paid more.. much more!

Earthcoin (EAC) has the fastest transaction speed of any coin.
Would be the obvious choice for legitimate commerce.

Highly agree with this, would love to see Earthcoin used by businesses.
